The formation of polymer networks polymerized with the Copper (I) – catalyzed azide – alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC) click reaction is described along with their accompanying utilization as shape memory polymers. Due to the click nature of the reaction and the synthetic accessibility of azide and alkyne functional-monomers, the polymer architecture was readily controlled through monomer design to manipulate crosslink density, ability for further functionalization, and the glass transition temperature (55–114 °C). Free strain recovery is used to quantify the shape memory properties of a model CuAAC network resulting in excellent shape fixity and recovery of 99%. The step growth nature of this polymerization results in homogenous network formation with narrow glass transitions ranges having half widths of the transition close to 15 °C for these materials resulting in shape recovery sharpness of 3.9%/°C in a model system comparable to similarly crosslinked chain growth polymers. Utilization of the CuAAC reaction to form shape memory materials opens a range of possibilities and behaviors that are not readily achieved in other shape memory materials such as (meth) acrylates, thiol-ene, thiol-Michael, and poly(caprolactone) based shape memory materials.  相似文献

以聚己内酯/聚氨酯(PUR)共聚材料为基体,采用反应共混法制备了一种超细滑石粉改性PUR形状记忆复合材料,通过差示扫描量热、X射线衍射等手段对其性能进行了表征,并研究了超细滑石粉的用量对PUR形状记忆复合材料的结晶性能、力学性能及形状记忆性能的影响.结果表明,超细滑石粉对复合材料的结晶度没有明显影响,但能提高结晶温度和刚性,且该复合材料在30℃以下具有较稳定的形状保持性,40℃以下时能在20 s内恢复.  相似文献

本文采用经硅烷偶联剂表面处理的纳米SiO2粒子制备了形状记忆聚氨酯/SiO2纳米复合材料。并用SEM、DSC、TGA对其进行分析,考察其形状记忆行为及力学性能。结果表明,形状记忆聚氨酯中加入纳米SiO2后,其热稳定性能提高了,形状回复起始温度(Ti)提高约10℃,形状回复速率提高约3.8倍,而力学性能有所下降。  相似文献

The inherent factors influencing the shear strength of particulate materials are also believed to influence the flow rate through a hopper. These inherent particle characteristics include particle size, particle-size distribution, particle shape, angularity, hardness, and surface roughness. To determine the effect of inherent particle characteristics on flow rate and pluviated void ratio, a wide range of materials were tested. These materials ranged from manufactured sands and glass beads to natural sands. Determination of particle size, particle-size distribution, and hardness was achieved by conducting conventional tests such as sieve analyses and specific gravity tests. Quantification of the shape and angularity parameter is more difficult due to the nonavailability of any standard techniques. To achieve the objective of quantifying shape and angularity, a new technique was developed utilizing the image analyzer. Two shape parameters, namely, Shape Factor and Angularity Factor, were determined for various materials. Shape and Angularity Factors were correlated with flow rate as well as the pluviated void ratio. Overall, the results indicate that as shape and angularity of particles increase, the flow rate decreases, and pluviated void ratio increase. A good correlation between drained shear strength properties and the flow rates measured in the cone was also found to exist. Therefore, index tests such as flow rate through a flow cone (hopper) can be used to estimate the drained monotonic strength of particulate materials.  相似文献

Recently, self-healing polymeric materials has garnered much attention due to their ability to prolong materials shelf-life. Graphene, as a formidable nanoparticle, has garnered great interests due to accruable superior properties in polymer nanocomposites (PNC). Application of organic coatings is the most available, and cost-efficient technique of enhancing the shelf-life of metallic structures. Shape memory polymeric materials are capable of being deformed, and arranged into a temporary shape, while also recovering their original configuration on exposure to external stimulation. Hence, the advent of self-repairing graphene PNC, coatings, and polymeric shape memory materials has enlarged the applications scope of these materials.  相似文献

为了全面的评价脆性材料强度特性指标,研究了强度统计方法中Weibull模数估计的试样数的优化问题。文中利用无偏极大似然估计理论结果,用置信度和相对误差双参数,计算出Weibull模数估计中的最优试样数,以便在Weibull模数估计试验中根据研究对象的要求,正确选用试样数量。文中结果在脆性材料强度特性评价与可靠性评价及其它适合Weibull统计的对象均可应用。  相似文献
