This study shows that vegetable oil like linseed oil can be used as flux in hot-dip galvanization. The natural fatty acids contained in them seem to be able to play similar role of chloride flux usually used. Moreover, it is also possible to use a mineral oil with an added acid function. “Pure” mineral oil well protects the steel from corrosion but leads to a very bad result in galvanization. When an acid function is added to this mineral oil, for example by an addition of hydrochloric acid, the result in galvanization is very good. The coat thickness and the inter-metallic composition depend not on the nature of the flux. 相似文献

Solid conlaminants in Iubrication system will cause severe wear of sliding components. In order 1o improve the wear resistance of the material in oil containing solid contaminants, the brush plated nano-Al2O3/Ni composite coating was prepared and the influence of the sand content and sand size on the tribological property of the coating in oil containing solid contaminants was tested with ball-on-disc tester. The results show that the wear volume increases with increasing the sand content and sand size, and the wear resistance of the composite coating is 20% higher than that of the high-speed plain nickel coating. The main wear mechanisms of the coatings are abrasive wear and adhesive wear. And due to the nano-particle strengthening effect, the wear resistance of the composite coating is improved. 相似文献

介绍了大型轴承箱体铸件的结构和技术要求,详细阐述了原生产工艺及油槽处存在的粘砂和铁包砂问题,对缺陷位置进行原因分析后,采取了相应的防止措施:在原工艺的基础上,调整浇注系统,控制浇注温度,采用保温冒口材料制作镶嵌结构的油槽芯。生产结果显示:铸件表面良好,内部光滑,有效解决了扁而宽大油槽部位易产生粘砂、铁包砂的问题。与原工艺相比,铸件易于清理,达到了使用要求,又降低了铸件清理工作量,显著提高了箱体铸件的成品率。 相似文献

Vast amounts of tailings are produced daily in bitumen extraction from the Athabasca oil sands.The coarse sand from the tailings stream is used to build dykes around the containment basin.The run-off slurry arrives at the water‘s edge in the tailings pond at a solids concentration of about 3%-8% by mass.Settling of the solids takes place“felatively fast”,over several days,creating a “free water zone” that contains little solids.When the fine mineral solids concentration has reached about 15% by mass,the suspension develops non-Newtonian properties.After2-3years,the suspension concentration reaches a value of about 30% by mass at which the settling rate becomes extremely slow.Methods to hadle the already created tailings ponds and new approaches to eliminate the creation of new ones will be discussed both from the industrial and fundamental prospective. 相似文献
