The frequency response analysis method of investigation of windings is one of the methods being introduced more and more, recently. It is being used for the identification of dislocations and deformations of transformer windings as well as for the early detection of winding failures in electrical machines. This method is based on the comparison of the transfer function with reference measurements. The application of this method in the investigation of windings is determined by a measurement of the transfer function and by mathematical modelling. Both methods of determining the transfer function of the windings are being refined and developed. The numerical simulations are aiming at determining the sensitivity of this method and developing the recognition criteria with regard to the type and range of the deformations. 相似文献

Metropolitan areas such as Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya are major consumers of electricity in Japan. As the construction of power plants near these areas has become more difficult in recent years, there is a tendency for large-scale power plants to be constructed in remote locations. The construction of transmission lines and substations is also becoming more difficult, so that power is being transmitted by fewer lines over long distances. Consequently, the stability of the power system is a very important problem, and numerous stabilizing technologies are therefore being used. The embedding of electrical/electronic connections and components is becoming more critical as these are being used in more hostile environments. These environments include automotive uses and industrial plants. Embedding of electrical or electronic connections in automobiles is important, as more functions are computer controlled. A wide range of processes and materials are used for making these embedded connectors, but durability of the assembly is critical to long-term performance. A good embedding material needs to have very specific properties to protect the connection under a variety of conditions. The typical polymers used in these applications have been epoxies, silicones, and urethanes. Each polymer has advantages and disadvantages that determine its suitability to a specific application. There are also newer materials, such as thermoplastic and thermoset dimer-based polyamides.
