The influence of ionizing radiation on interphase transport of noncondensing gases in a liquid water–vapor-gas mixture system is investigated. A mathematical model is developed and computational experiments are performed for the irradiation of water in equilibrium with vapor, in a closed vessel with a free volume in the absence of mixing of the phases and intense heat transfer, and irradiation of a moving liquid in the bubble flow regime. It is shown that when a liquid water–vapor-gas mixture two-phase system is exposed to ionizing radiation the transition of the mixture of hydrogen and oxygen from the vapor-gas phase into the liquid phase becomes more intense. The reason for this is that they undergo an effective radiation-chemical reaction in a layer adjoining the surface separating the phases. This effect is useful for developing a water-chemical regime for future and currently operating nuclear power facilities. A Rogowski coil is developed to detect the nanosecond pulse signals of the discharge current with a wide bandwidth of 800 kHz to 106 MHz and high sensitivity of 2.22 V/A. Performance tests show that the Rogowski coil has both excellent dynamic and static characteristics. Calibrating results and the comparison between the standard current shunt and the developed Rogowski coil for the measurement of nanosecond discharge pulses demonstrate that the developed Rogowski coil can reproduce the actual waveform of the discharge current accurately.  相似文献

The Monte Carlo method is used to calculate the coefficients used to convert from the measured (using retrospective luminescence dosimetry) -ray dose inside the wall of a building to the dose in air. The -ray dose distributions in the wall and in air were calculated simultaneously. The calculations were performed for a -ray sources located in air, on the surface of soil, and in a 0–5 cm thick top layer of soil. The -ray spectra in air and inside a wall are calculated and it is shown that the spectrum depends strongly on the type of source – the average energy of the spectrum is 0.25 MeV for a source located on a soil surface, 0.39 MeV for a source located inside the soil, and 0.53 MeV for a source located in air.  相似文献

In the Ion Cyclotron Range of Frequency(ICRF) heating experiment,impedance matching is of great practical significance,because wide variations in antenna loading are observed within the discharge,in tokamaks operating in H-mode.A sudden decrease in antenna loading accompanying the L-mode to H-mode transition typically occurs on a timescale of a few millisec onds,as does the increase in loading at the H- to L-mode transition.Therefore,it is necessary to match dynamically in the transmission line between the generator output and the antenna input connections[1].A new type of stub tuner being developed utilizes the difference in radio-frequency wavelengths between gas and liquid due to different relative dielectric constants.The impedance matching can be adjusted in realtime in an attempt to track the variations in the antenna loading.Since there are no mechanically moving parts in the short ends of stub,the change can be more convenient and safe,moreover,it can withstand higher voltage without breakdown.this system device will be applied in the HT-7 superconductor Tokamak ICRF experiment.  相似文献

A 3-phase a.c. arc plasma reactor with large volume plasma has been developed for the synthesis of new carbon nano-structures. One of the main characteristics of the plasma system is related to the absence of a fixed neutral point. This gives rise to a rich and complex phenomenology related to instabilities and arc motion since the arcs are "burning" freely in the gas flow between the three electrodes. This paper is dedicated to the analysis of the behavior of such a system under typical conditions using argon and nitrogen as plasma gases. A classification of are configuration, arc commutating, arc interaction, arc motion and arc instabilities are discussed based on ultra high-speed cine camera analysis. A simple model describing the time evolution of the system is also presented and compared with the experimental measurements. The results show that an adequate control could allow the improvement of the overall system.  相似文献
