In this work, we address the problem of analyzing video sequences by representing meaningful local space–time neighborhoods. We propose a mathematical model to describe relevant points as local singularities of a 3D signal, and we show that these local patterns can be nicely highlighted by the 3D shearlet transform, which is at the root of our work. Based on this mathematical framework, we derive an algorithm to represent space–time points which is very effective in analyzing video sequences. In particular, we show how points of the same nature have a very similar representation, allowing us to compute different space–time primitives for a video sequence in an unsupervised way.  相似文献

The Manchester dataflow computer is a famous dynamic dataflow computer.It is centralized in architecture and simple in organization.Its overhead for communication and scheduling is very small.Its efficiency comes down,when processing elements in the processing subsystem increase.Several articles evaluated its performance and presented improved methods.The authors studied its processing subsystem and carried out the simulation.The simulation results show that the efficiency of the processing subsystem drops dramatically when average instruction execution microcycles become less and the maximum instruction execution rate is nearly attained.Two improved methods are presented to oversome the disadvantage.The improved processing subsystem with a cheap distributor made up of a bus and a two-level fixed priority circuit possesses almost full efficiency no matter whether the average nstruction execution microcycles number is large or small and even if the maximum instruction execution rate is approached.  相似文献

The quality of skeleton system for the cheetah robot goes hand in hand with its bionic result of its shape, structure and functions. In view of the skeleton system constitution and structural characteristic of the cheetah, the team applied structure design, stimulation analysis and parameter optimization to developing the cheetah robot. In addition, after the invention of cheetah robot's anterior lumbar vertebra based on its functional attribute and connectivity attribute, the Solidworks Simulation was utilized to analyze the design, according to which improvement on the lumbar vertebra was made. TDMA protocol is a main channel access method of wireless networks used in military fields, which works by dividing a radio frequency into time slots and allocating slots to multiple calls. Two mathematical models are proposed to calculate the message delay. Based on analysis, the message delay in the queue of TDMA is composed of two parts, one can be calculated on M/M/1 theory, in which the waiting time is from the message coming into being to it being the header of the queue, the other can be modeled by the uniform distribution and Erlang distribution, in which the message waiting time is caused by the header waiting for its turn to be sent. Simulation results are compared with two methods, and Erlang distribution is closer to the simulation results than uniform distribution.  相似文献

The purpose of the study is to model manual submarine steering and its effects on helmsmen in terms of performance and mental workload. This activity is first formalized according to (a) cognitive requirements, by identifying different levels of control, and (b) perceptual–motor requirements, by analysing the directional compatibility of control–display design. An experiment is then carried out on a simulator designed by a world leader in military naval shipbuilding. This experiment follows a unique scenario including two driving situations with different levels of cognitive requirements (approach and stabilization phases). It is achieved by two groups, each carrying out a perceptual–motor task on a specific steering control–display configuration proposed by the naval shipbuilder (one with a standard numeric display and one with a new visual–spatial representation, both tasks controlled by the same joystick). The findings of this study show that the cognitive requirements during the stabilization phase with high propulsion speed produce increased mental workload, and the perceptual–motor requirements also produce increased mental workload when a direction-of-motion stereotype is violated (upward–forward relationship).  相似文献

The numerical solution of shallow water systems is useful for several applications related to geophysical flows, but the big dimensions of the domains suggests the use of powerful accelerators to obtain numerical results in reasonable times. This paper addresses how to speed up the numerical solution of a first order well-balanced finite volume scheme for 2D one-layer shallow water systems by using modern Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) supporting the NVIDIA CUDA programming model. An algorithm which exploits the potential data parallelism of this method is presented and implemented using the CUDA model in single and double floating point precision. Numerical experiments show the high efficiency of this CUDA solver in comparison with a CPU parallel implementation of the solver and with respect to a previously existing GPU solver based on a shading language.  相似文献

This paper presents a generalized bi-level programming model of combined dynamic traffic assignment and traffic signal control,and especially analyzes a procedure for determining the equilibrium queuing delays on saturated links for dynamic network signal control satisfying the FIFO (first-in-first-out)rule.The chaotic optimal algorithm proposed in this paper can not only present the optimal signal settings,but also calculate,at each interval,the link inflow rates and outflow rates for the dynamic user optimal problem,and provide real-time information for the travelers.Finally,a numerical example is given to illustrate the application of the proposed model and solution algorithm, and comparison shows that this model has better system performance.  相似文献

Trusted computing is a new technology for building secure system in recent years. TCG (Trusted Computing Group) has drafted a series of specifications on trusted computer. In the practical computer network transmission, the information about network state is always with uncertainty, which will throw great impact upon the selection of QoS routing. In this paper, with the assumption of delay based on uniform distribution, we will separately make analysis and comparison upon the performance of three QoS unicast routing algorithms based on uncertain information with network simulation tool of NS-2. The results of extensive simulation show that pseudo-polynomial algorithm and heuristic algorithm surpass randomized routing algorithm in performance, and the solution of pseudo-polynomial algorithm is closer to optimized solution.  相似文献

This article explores extraction profiles in the Stackelberg equilibrium of exhaustible resource industry. Calibrated with real data of world petroleum market, the Stackelberg and Cournot–Nash equilibriums are solved numerically. The properties of the Stackelberg equilibrium are compared and contrasted with the benchmark open-loop Cournot–Nash equilibrium. Simulation results indicate that the leader’s gains are limited in the Stackelberg strategic setting. This paper probes into modeling and simulation of direct-sequence spread spectrum communications system based on software radio. The simulation result shows that the spread spectrum communication system that uses software radio technology has good anti-interference ability. Even there is much interference, the normal communication still can be guaranteed. At the same time, this digital direct spread intermediate frequency system has a good generalization. In the present paper we will discuss a new wavelet-based approach aimed at processing and analyzing different features of complex geomagnetic signals. This approach makes it possible to automatically extract different kinds of disturbances in the Earth?s magnetic field variations, which characterize solar activity and help to predict magnetic storms. In order to analyze geomagnetic signals wavelet packets are used in order to isolate local variations for quiet and perturbed periods and determine their intensity. Furthermore, a new automatic method of calculating the index of geomagnetic activity K is suggested on the basis of forming a quiet-day diurnal variation (Sq-curve). This method allows us to do calculations in the way that is closest to that developed by J. Bartels, who introduced the K-index in 1938. The results are compared with those obtained by INTERMAGNET and the original method of J. Bartels and the advantages of the suggested method are clearly demonstrated. For geomagnetic data collected in high-latitude regions of our planet it has become possible to reduce the error of estimating the K-index by 20% and unlike the technique used by INTERMAGNET here all the calculations can be done automatically. We will use geomagnetic signals that were kindly provided to us by the Institute of Cosmophysical Research and Radio Wave Propagation (Paratunka, Kamchatka region, Far East of Russia) for the period from January, 2002 till December, 2010.  相似文献
