Hygrothermal loads and service life of external wall insulation systems. Service life and aging behaviour of external wall systems depend on their hygrothermal loads. Apart from the fluctuating climatic conditions temperature, solar radiation and humidity there are often additional exterior or interior sources of moisture, e.g. driving rain, construction moisture or surface condensation acting on facades. External wall insulation systems (ETICS = E xternal T hermal I nsulation C omposite S ystems) are especially affected due to their low mass. However, the long‐term observation by repeated inspections of the same objects over a period of 30 years proves that ETICS show not more damage than traditional facades. Apart from minor esthetical problems due to soiling or microbial growth their long‐term behaviour is very encouraging. Maintained at normal intervals ETICS are as durable as traditionally rendered masonry walls.  相似文献

Determination of the construction and the material identity values of outside building components with the help of in‐situ measuring procedures and FEM‐simulation calculations. The aims formulated nationwide and internationally to the climate protection can be achieved by combining of the energy‐efficient construction and rehabilitation of the existing buildings. Knowledge about the construction and the material identity values of the warmth‐transferring outside components is a condition for the energetic balance of buildings. The essential information to this can frequently be no more taken from the construction documents particularly for older buildings since they are no longer traceable or incomplete. At the example by univalve and bivalve out‐wall construction it is shown that the thermophysical qualities can be determined with the help of in‐situ measuring procedures and FE‐simulation calculations without destruction.  相似文献

New results on sound insulation of facades and external building components. In spite of the strong annoyance by noise, the acoustic quality of external building components is often regarded as requirement of secondary importance. However, a high standard of noise protection is expected by most of the occupants or owners of buildings as the evaluation of numerous complaints in acoustically inadequate buildings shows. The main problem is the poor sound insulation performance of external walls against low frequencies, e.g. caused by traffic noise. Therefore, acoustic improvements have to focus on that topic. Fortunately, an extended range of data, knowledge and solutions is provided within the state of the art. With regard to the acoustic quality of external thermal insulation systems and of hollow bricks the results of recently completed research projects are presented in the paper.  相似文献

Concrete Floor Slabs for Indoor and Outdoor Areas – Design and Construction Concrete floor slabs for industrial buildings are used as driveways, stock areas and foundations, e. g. for high rack warehouses. It is very exacting to serve the customer's demands as for slippery safety, evenness, wear and chemical resistance, durability and stability. Especially for concrete floor slabs it is particularly important to have an entire view on the construction and building requirements to fix an economic solution in cooperation with the client. The aim of this article is to summarize the substantial design and construction rules for concrete floor slabs in order to facilitate the finding of an ideal solution.  相似文献
