Shear Loaded Quadruple Fastenings Close to Edge – Proposal for New Design Concept Fastenings in concrete with anchor groups placed close to a free edge are often met in practice. At the connection of anchors with a steel base plate, installation tolerances are present and so the anchors are randomly placed in the clearance holes of the plate. Consequently, by shear loading of an anchorage, the individual anchors are not activated simultaneously and the group's shear capacity is strongly affected. At shear loaded quadruple anchorages close to an edge the most unfavourable configuration is reached if the first row of anchors is loaded first. Based on that, the current design of shear loaded anchor groups close to an edge according to ETAG 001 considers only the anchors near the edge for ultimate limit state (ULS). Experiments with common geometries and unfavourable anchor configurations show in contrary essential higher breaking loads. Hence, for the ULS a new design concept is developed. It extends the present system of the projected concrete surfaces, and allows for a user‐friendly calculation to define the design load continuously out of the geometry. In the end this new design concept is verified by experimental results.  相似文献

Fatigue Bearing Capacity of Anchors exposed to Shear Loading To determine the effect of concrete properties on the fatigue bearing capacity of metal anchors exposed to shear loading, tests on M12 bonded anchors have been conducted. The analysed properties included the compression strength and a crack of 0.3 mm width in comparison with the non‐cracked concrete. A Wöhler curve, and therewith the oscillating width of the fatigue bearing capacity, has been calculated for each of the four test series from the gained results. Furthermore, a function has been developed for the cracked and the non‐cracked concrete, which allows the estimation of the fatigue bearing capacity in concrete of any compression strength. In present technical approvals only the worst‐case values are specified. The site of fracture and the recorded parameters showed characteristics, which allow the determination of the failure mode. Thus, the planning of succeeding tests can be improved.  相似文献

Design of Anchors close to an Edge under Shear Loads Engineering Approach for Consideration of the Load Direction A universally valid proposal is made for the design of anchors close to an edge under shear loads for concrete edge failure. The angle of the shear load is taken into account during determination of the load distribution on each anchor of a group. High Performance Lightweight Aggregate Concrete under Multiaxial Compression There are multiaxial stress conditions at many points in a structure. Whether the strength of high performance lightweight concrete under multiaxial compression increases as well as the strength of normal concrete, was verified in bi‐ and triaxial tests. Buckling panels under multiaxial stress – Verification according to DIN EN 1993‐1‐5 chapter 10. This paper focuses on the buckling verification of panels acc. to DIN EN 1993‐1‐5 chapter 10. The procedure and the buckling verification are explained in detail. Additionally, a flowchart for the application of the reduced stress method is presented. Subsequently, open questions regarding the buckling verification are listed and recommendations and clarifications are given. Fatigue analysis of complex support structures under wave loading. This paper deals with current results of support structures under wave loading. The applied time history‐based simulation techniques are described. A comparison between simulation results are compared to data measured at a research platform in the German Bight. The special requirements for the fatigue assessment with local concepts are shown using an exemplary support structure for offshore wind energy converters.  相似文献
