由于商业仿真软件的高昂费用以及源码的不开放,许多军事仿真已转而使用开源仿真软件。Delta3D是一款由美军开发的全功能游戏与仿真引擎,通过对底层模块进行隐藏封装,将多个相关功能模块整合在一起形成一个使用更加方便的高级API函数库,目前在军用仿真领域已经较有影响。文章介绍了Delta3D的模块组成,应用程序开发的基本框架,以及与相关仿真软件的配合使用,并就开发过程中的相关问题给出了建议。 相似文献

In 1997 the US Army's Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation Command (STRICOM), recognizing the increasingly attractive economies of scale associated with PC 3D rendering technology, awarded a contract to the University of Central Florida's Institute for Simulation and Training (IST) to study the suitability of PCs for military real-time visual simulation (VisSim). The result was the Low-Cost Visual (LCV) Project. To date the LCV team has studied specifications for military VisSim systems to see how they compare with feature and performance criteria for PC graphics systems, and developed a real-time visual simulation benchmark suite. Currently we are trying to relate the complexity of visual databases used in the benchmark suite tests to databases used in typical military visual simulations. We also contemplate studying available graphics development software tools for the PC and may examine how available PC technology can be used in embedded real-time systems for military combat vehicles. Our results should interest the general VisSim community, however, since problems associated with real-time 3D rendering on a PC are the same whether simulations are built for the military or for a virtual reality arcade, for example 相似文献

Supply network management in today’s business climate characterized by high uncertainty, globalization of business, outsourcing, shorter product life-cycles, and high customer expectations is extremely challenging. Simulation can be a valuable tool for supply network analysis, planning, optimization, evaluation, and risk management. This paper presents a methodology for modelling both structure and dynamics of complex supply networks based on process approach. It also describes the model-driven simulation methodology and the main components of the simulation software solution: model database, process library, knowledge base, and execution engine. Nowadays, organizations have to adjust their business processes along with the changing environment in order to maintain a
competitive advantage. Changing a part of the system to support the business process implies changing the entire system, which
leads to complex redesign activities. In this paper, a bottom-up process mining and simulation-based methodology is proposed to be employed in redesign activities. The methodology starts
with identifying relevant performance issues, which are used as basis for redesign. A process model is “mined” and simulated
as a representation of the existing situation, followed by the simulation of the redesigned process model as prediction of
the future scenario. Finally, the performance criteria of the current business process model and the redesigned business process
model are compared such that the potential performance gains of the redesign can be predicted. We illustrate the methodology

面向对象技术是目前获得广泛应用的软件设计方法,在化工过程模拟领域也有大量应用。UML(United Model Language,统一建模语言)采用图形方式和基于静态样式的软件设计方式进行软件开发,可有效地解决化工模拟软件开发过程中软件开发人员与化工专业人员交流困难的问题,并可提高软件的复用程度和开发效率,是一种有效的面向对象的辅助设计工具。文中利用UML建立了化工过程单元和化工过程系统的对象模型。实践分析表明,利用UML辅助化工过程模拟软件设计可有效降低软件分析设计的难度,提高软件设计的质量和速度。 相似文献

Simulation of legal policies is an important decision-support tool in domains such as taxation. The primary goal of legal policy simulation is predicting how changes in the law affect measures of interest, e.g., revenue. Legal policy simulation is currently implemented using a combination of spreadsheets and software code. Such a direct implementation poses a validation challenge. In particular, legal experts often lack the necessary software background to review complex spreadsheets and code. Consequently, these experts currently have no reliable means to check the correctness of simulations against the requirements envisaged by the law. A further challenge is that representative data for simulation may be unavailable, thus necessitating a data generator. A hard-coded generator is difficult to build and validate. We develop a framework for legal policy simulation that is aimed at addressing the challenges above. The framework uses models for specifying both legal policies and the probabilistic characteristics of the underlying population. We devise an automated algorithm for simulation data generation. Multiscale simulation is a promising approach for addressing a variety of real-world engineering problems. Various mathematical
approaches have been proposed to link single-scale models of physics into multiscale models. In order to be effective, new
multiscale simulation algorithms must be implemented which use partial results provided by single-scale software. This work
considers aspects of software design for interfacing to existing single-scale simulation code to perform multiscale simulations
on a parallel machine. As a practical example, we extended the large-scale atomistic/molecular massively parallel simulator
(LAMMPS) atomistic simulation software to facilitate its efficient use as a component of parallel multiscale-simulation software.
This required new library interface functions to LAMMPS that side-stepped its dependence on files for input and output and
provided efficient access to LAMMPS’s internal state. As a result, we were able to take advantage of LAMMPS’s single-scale
performance without adding any multiscale-specific code to LAMMPS itself. We illustrate the use of LAMMPS as a component in
three different modes: as a stand-alone application called by a multiscale code, as a parallel library invoked by a serial
multiscale code, and as a parallel library invoked by a parallel multiscale code. We conclude that it is possible to efficiently
re-use existing single-scale simulation software as a component in multiscale-simulation software. 相似文献

为了便于将雷达回波仿真应用于实践,提出一种雷达回波实时仿真的软件实现设计方法。按照雷达信号接收处理的工作原理,对雷达工作方式和战场环境分别建模并作适当简化,利用软件编程实现雷达回波仿真。利用软件实现的便捷性特点,在仿真中设计了一些交互接口,可接收对雷达工作状态的调整指令以及对模拟战场环境的修改信息。这样可实时更新生成不同环境下的动态回波信号,提高仿真应用的灵活性与通用性。仿真结果验证了该方法的可用性和有效性。 相似文献

There is a variety of applications that can benefit from the ability to find optimal or good solutions to a proposed problem, automatically. The artificial intelligent (AI) community has been actively involved in efficient problem-solving in complex domains such as military or spacecraft problems with successful results. In this paper, we describe the integration of AI planning techniques with an existing workflow management system. We show how these techniques can improve the overall system functionality and help automate the definition of business processes. This paper presents a case study of using simulation in planning a new Printed Circuit Board (PCB) manufacturing system. The process simulation technique and expert system are proposed to evaluate the design alternatives and logistics management. Simulation results, such as machine utilisation, waiting time, and throughput of system are generated for evaluation. Simulation models were developed using software package SIMPROCESS, which is based on the concept of visual interactive simulation. Besides, the formation of the models is assisted by the expert system package VP-EXPERT. Each approach was found to accurately model the PCB manufacturing plant layout, provide operational and logistics performance in terms of throughput, waiting time, and resource utilisation, and provide a basis for suggesting the best modes of logistics operation. 相似文献
