A novel open and short stubs loaded crossed resonator and its applications to cross-coupling filter and tri-band bandpass filters are presented in this paper. Based on the lossless transmission line model analysis, it is found that the first three resonance frequencies of the crossed resonator can be conveniently controlled. Benefiting from this feature, the resonator can be utilized to design not only a cascaded triplet (CT) filter, but also a tri-band bandpass filter. The tri-band filter offers two tunable passbands and one fixed passband. The first and third passband frequencies can be tuned effectively by changing the lengths of the stubs. To demonstrate these applications, a CT filter and two tri-band bandpass filters using a crossed resonator are implemented. The experiments verify the theoretical predictions and simulations.   相似文献

提出了一种用开关电流电路实现连续小波变换的方法,将连续小波变换转化为用带通滤波器组对信号进行处理,并用开关电流电路实现该带通滤波器组.文章采用基于第二代开关电流技术的带通滤波器组实现了8通道的Marr小波.仿真结果表明该滤波器组具有恒Q值,且每个带通滤波器的中心频率与理论值大致相符,从而证实了该方法的可行性.  相似文献

Compact bandpass filters are being developed using Mobius wire-loaded cavity resonators. Initial results on tuned filters indicate that excellent filter characteristics can be attained in devices that are significantly smaller than traditional wire-loaded cavity technologies. A novel quad-mode Mobius resonator is presented which occupies the same volume as a dual-mode Mobius resonator. A four-pole bandpass filter is demonstrated using a single quad-mode Mobius resonator. Precisely controlled dielectric loading of dual-mode Mobius wire resonators has been implemented to realize bandpass filters. 提出了一种新型谐波抑制的四分之波长微带带通滤波器。该滤波器由一对平行耦合线与矩形开路端相连的谐振器以及两端对称的L形微带输入输出馈线构成。分析了不同的结构参数对滤波器性能的影响。实验仿真结果表明,该滤波器结构紧凑、尺寸小,具有良好的级联特性。一级、二级滤波器带外抑制能达到中心频率的瓴处,且二级滤波器带外衰减都大于35dB,适用于多种微波通信系统。  相似文献

This paper presents several novel centrally loaded resonators and their applications to various types of bandpass filters. Based on the theoretical analysis, it is found that the even- mode resonance of the proposed resonators can be conveniently controlled without affecting the responses at the odd-mode resonant frequencies. Benefiting from this feature, the resonator can be utilized to design not only harmonic-suppressed bandpass filters and dual-band bandpass filters but also tunable bandpass filters. The tunable filter offers a fixed passband and a tunable one. The center frequency of the upper passband can be electrically tuned, whereas the performance of the lower one is maintained constant. To demonstrate these applications, four filters using the proposed resonators are implemented. The experiments verify the theoretical predictions and simulations.  相似文献

A simple technique for the design of new, vialess square-ring bandpass filters is presented. The proposed technique is based on the full-wave electromagnetic simulation of a single filter section with variable offset distance to realize a wide range of bandpass filters with flexible specifications at any given center frequency. The new, multilayered filter configurations are vialess in nature, taking advantage of the broadside coupling between different layers for simple fabrication. Two- and three-resonator Chebyshev bandpass filters with 20% and 10% bandwidth are designed at a center frequency of 2 GHz and the theoretical response is validated by measurement. Due to the EM based design approach, the proposed technique offers a high degree of accuracy. These new configurations are suitable for a variety of multilayered fabricational technologies.  相似文献

Novel compact elliptic-function narrow-band bandpass filters have been designed and fabricated. This new configuration consists of two identical microstrip open-loop resonators with coupled and crossing lines. A theoretical investigation has confirmed that this novel configuration is capable of providing elliptic-function filtering. Furthermore, the feasibility of this filter is verified experimentally. Centered at 2.039 GHz, the fabricated microstrip bandpass filter shows a measured 3-dB bandwidth of 2% and two deep notches in its stopband. In addition, the main circuit of this filter occupies only 2.5 cm×1.5 cm using a substrate with dielectric constant of 10.5, making it very attractive for applications in the mobile and personal communication systems (PCS's)  相似文献

In this paper, an extension to the extracted pole technique for synthesizing N-order filters with N-transmission zeros at real frequencies is presented. In addition, a new bandpass rectangular waveguide H-plane low-cost configuration filter for high-power low-loss application (patent pending) that implements a filtering function with finite real frequency transmission zeros is proposed. This structure operates as a resonant cavity in transmission at central frequency of the bandpass and simultaneously introduces a controlled transmission zero out of the bandpass. Since every double-controlled electrical behavior cavity introduces a transmission zero, it is possible to introduce as many transmission zeros as the order of the filtering function. In order to validate the synthesis procedure and the new structure, different filters have been designed: a second-order filter with two transmission zeros, a third-order filter with one transmission zero, a fourth-order filter with two transmission zeros, and finally, an eighth-order filter with two transmission zeros. The last two have been manufactured, showing an excellent agreement between the measurement and theoretical simulation.  相似文献

A bandpass filter is described which is made up of two identical multi-element coupled symmetrical striplines in tandem connection. For the filter, a precise synthesis procedure is presented reducing the design to the synthesis of a directional coupler. The required equal-ripple polynomials are calculated by an iterative method. Relations for the polynomial extreme values are provided, derived from the attenuation requirements in passband and stopband. On the basis of this procedure the coupling factors of two 21-element filters are calculated and realized three-layer polyolefin. Measurements show good agreement with theoretical results.  相似文献

Compact ultra-wideband bandpass filters are proposed based on the composite microstrip–coplanar-waveguide (CPW) structure. In this study, the microstrip–CPW transitions and the CPW shorted stubs are adopted as quasi-lumped-circuit elements for realizing a three-pole high-pass filter prototype. By introducing a cross-coupled capacitance between input and output ports of this high-pass filter and suitably designing the transition stretch stubs, a compact three-pole ultra-wideband bandpass filter is implemented with two transmission zeros located close to the passband edges. To further improve the selectivity, two microstrip shorted stubs are added to implement a five-pole ultra-wideband bandpass filter with good out-of-band response. Being developed from the quasi-lumped elements, and not from the transmission lines, the proposed ultra-wideband filters have sizes more compact than those of the published wideband filters. The proposed ultra-wideband filters have the merits of compact size, flat group delay, good insertion/return loss, and good selectivity. Agreement between simulated and measured responses of these filters is demonstrated.  相似文献

A new configuration for realising insensitive current/voltage-mode filters using two four-terminal floating nullors (FTFNs) is presented. It can provide the curren/voltage-mode filters with reduced sensitivities. Moreover, the current-mode filters can have high output impedance and only grounded capacitors. The proposed universal voltage-mode filter with dual outputs can realise lowpass, bandpass, highpass, notch and allpass filtering functions. 本文提出了一种新颖的微带双通带带通滤波器的设计方法。该微带双通带滤波器由两个中心频率不同的滤波器组成,并采用耦合线实现外部耦合。设计中引入源与负载之间的耦合,得到了额外的有限频率传输零点,改善了滤波器的衰减特性。通过调节源与负载之间耦合的强弱,可以适当地调节传输零点的位置。经设计并加工了一款4阶微带开环结构双通带滤波器,实测响应与仿真响应吻合较好,验证了该方法的有效性。  相似文献

A rectangular waveguide type variable bandpass filter for the 4-GHz bandpass has been proposed and tested. The bandpass width varies from 260 MHz to 1.02 GHz for a filter using varactor diodes. Two microstrip variable bandpass filters for the 6-GHz and 4-GHz bands are also proposed and tested. The passband width varies from 310 MHz to1.24 GHz for a varactor-diode coupled filter, and it varies from 380 MHz to 2.18 GHz for a filter which is composed of low-pass and high pass filters connected in cascade. Techniques for the design of narrow-band (of the order of a percent or so), bandpass filters using dielectric waveguide gratings are presented. These filters use both single, uncoupled gratings and parallel-coupled configurations of gratings to form multiresonator bandpass filter structures. Transmission-line equivalent circuits are used to model the dielectric waveguide gratings. Using this model, it is then shown how direct-coupled-resonator theory can be applied to such filter structures to synthesize a prescribed passband having Chebyshev or maximally flat characteristic. On the other hand, the parallel-coupled gratings give these filters broad and strong, absorptive stopbands, as is explained. Experimental results are presented which show good agreement between theoretical and measured results.  相似文献

A class of novel millimetric uniplanar series resonators are presented, which can be used in monolithic and hybrid uniplanar microwave integrated circuits (MIC's). The proposed structures are able to demonstrate low radiation and compactness characteristics, which are attractive for passive and active monolithic and hybrid integrated circuits. A principle of achieving these high-quality circuits is described and also confirmed by experimental and theoretical results, which are in good agreement up to 50 GHz. To illustrate the features of the proposed series resonators and demonstrate their effectiveness, two classes of miniature coplanar waveguide (CPW) filters (namely, low-pass and bandpass) are designed using these resonators. The developed low-pass filter has some important advantages such as low insertion loss in passband, very wide stopband, high cutoff rates, small size, low number of elements, and an effective control of spurious signals. On the other hand, the newly developed bandpass filter provides an alternative, yet compact, structure to classical filters. An experimental 10.7-MHz switched-capacitor bandpass filter is demonstrated that exhibits a 400-kHz bandwidth with a 42-MHz sampling rate. Basic design issues of such high-frequency filters are also addressed with emphasis on dynamic range and power constraints. A theoretical square relation between power and center frequency agrees well with experimental results.
