This paper reports the implementation of a computer modeling approach that uses fluoroscopically measured motions of total knee replacements as inputs and predicts patient-specific implant temperature rises using computationally efficient dynamic contact and thermal analyses. The multibody dynamic simulations of two activities (gait and stair) were generated from the fluoroscopic data to predict contact pressure and slip velocity time histories for individual elements on the tibial insert surface. These time histories were used in a computational thermal analysis to predict average steady-state temperature rise due to frictional heating on each element. For the standard condition, which assumes an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) tibial component and cobalt-chrome femoral component, 1Hz activity frequency, friction coefficient of = 0.06, and convective heat transfer coefficient of h = 30 (W/(m2·K)), the predicted maximum temperature rise on the medial compartment was 9.1 and 14°C for continuous activities of gait and stair respectively. The sensitivity of the temperature rise to activity rate, heat partitioning to the femoral component, and convective heat transfer coefficient was explored. The model is extremely sensitive to the thermal properties of the femoral component and predicts order of magnitude changes in contact temperature with order of magnitude changes in thermal conductivity. A survey of thermal conductivity for current and proposed scratch resistant femoral component implant materials shows variations greater than an order of magnitude. 相似文献

目的:光纤通信技术提高了信息传输的速率和容量,目前它已成为一种主要的信息传输技术。在某些信号旋转传输的特定场合中需要使用以光信号传输为基础的光纤旋转连接技术。光纤旋转连接器因其具有传输容量大、体积小、重量轻以及良好的电磁兼容特性等优点而被广泛研究和应用。方法:本文分析了棱镜型多通道光纤旋转连接器的结构及原理,对解旋转机制进行了分析,并由此设计了一种新型的方双柱面解旋转棱镜结构的双通道光纤旋转连接器。结果:通过对该结构的光纤旋转连接器的耦合特性分析,结果表明其损耗主要由机械误差和解旋转棱镜球差所产生,数值模拟结果表明该结构的光纤旋转连接器的插入损耗可低于2.0dB。结论:这一性能完全能满足雷达等相关军事装备对其应用的要求,具有广泛的应用前景。 相似文献

为验证机器人一体化关节的性能是否达到指标要求,设计并实现了一体化关节性能测试试验平台。在该平台上可以实现对关节输出力矩、运动位置精度和速度性能等关键性能参数的标定。并对此试验平台的结构特性及精度进行了分析,得到系统结构的模态和谐响应振动数据,考察了结构变形对测试精度的影响。最终对一体化关节进行性能测试,得到机器人一体化关节输出力矩及运动精度等关键性能指标。 相似文献

为了拓展变胞机构的种类,提出了一种变胞运动单元,该变胞单元采用三个旋转关节,并且三个旋转关节可以通过位置调节形成等效球铰、虎克铰以及转动副。与传统的锁定运动副来实现变胞功能的变胞单元相比,此变胞单元三种构型的切换只需对轴线位置调整,无需额外增加关节锁死电机。通过研究由线矢量构成的螺旋系统的相关性,揭示了变胞运动单元构态变化的基本原理。提出了可用于构造新型变胞并联机构的支链构型设计方法,并基于螺旋的互易性分析了各支链构型所必须满足的几何约束条件。提出了两种变胞并联机构,通过不同的支链装配形式可将其从6自由度构型转换为3自由度构型,并对支链安装形式进行改进,构造出了具有3自由度平移模式和3自由度转动模式的并联机构。对变胞支链作为中心支链组装而成的并联机构的构型及对应的运动类型进行了分析,获得了六种不同构型的并联机构。 相似文献

通过对人类膝关节柔性产生机理研究,仿照动物关节肌肉-肌腱组织设计出一种适用于电机驱动的旋转型柔性关节。通过研究对比旋转型SEA(series elastic actuator)与直线型SEA机构特点,提出一种由8个压缩弹簧协同组成的柔性输出机构,并建立柔性输出机构刚度模型,确立了弹性元件参数与柔性关节等效刚度的数学关系。在此基础上,对柔性关节整体进行紧凑化设计,电机、减速器、柔性输出机构集中安装于关节部位,使柔性关节模块化、通用性强。通过对该柔性关节软件仿真及关节样机测试,验证了关节抗冲击能力和柔性输出能力可以满足柔性关节型机器人对柔性关节的应用需求。 相似文献

In assemblies constructed from components manufactured with radial deviations, cross-section deviations and deviations being combination of both, there occur variable values of local stresses and displacements. Both the types of shape deviations and their values need to be taken into account in the designing process and play an important role during machine operation. They have a crucial effect on the value and scatter of maximum reduced von Mises stresses and contact stresses. Axisymmetric joints were examined, in which shafts in selected shape variants and in variable angular positions were associated with a non-deformable hole. The aspects of contact zone problems are presented using the example of numerical simulation of contact between an elliptical saddle-shaped shaft placed in a rigid, non-deformable hole in different angular positions. Occurrence of both variable relative stresses and contact stresses as well as shaft's axial shift and rotary movement resistance were demonstrated. 相似文献

Many joint models available to predict secondary bending moments in the structure have a stiffness mismatch, while this type of structure widely used in aircraft. To determine how to represent a structure with a stiffness mismatch in a combined joint (bonded/riveted), a non-linear finite element analysis was performed. The detailed validation of this analysis identified the composite stiffened skin as the most suitable model in three dimensions. The use of this model for validating the secondary bending moment to calculate the behavior of the stiffener edge is straightforward and reliable. Experiments were performed to determine the distribution of the load in a combined joint under a tensile load that creates a secondary bending moment in a structure with a stiffness mismatch. The influence of related joint design considerations on the load transferred by the joint were examined through a finite element parameter analysis. The results are compared to determine best approach to predict the mechanical behavior at the edge of the stiffener. A close agreement between the finite element analysis and experimental results was obtained. Test observations using a C-scan compared well with the predictions of the onset of crack growth. 相似文献

针对球面3-RRP并联机构的理论分析不足以致运动学与动力学特性不明确的问题,设计了该构型的具体结构,分析了其运动学传递约束与驱动力矩特性。根据关于位置反解的Panda-Kahan理论,明确了灵活姿态空间与可达姿态空间的分布情况。基于旋量互易积,建立了关节的运动传递与约束能效系数。在此基础上,应用多参数平面模型技术,进一步揭示了参数尺度、姿态空间、性能指标之间的耦合关系,从而确定了参数取值,明晰了优质姿态空间范围和性能指标分布趋势。并基于虚功原理,建立了动力学模型,定性分析了驱动力矩特性。研究结果表明:该腕关节机构兼具机构紧凑、姿态空间大、完全的运动约束性能与优秀的运动传递性能、大负载重量比的特点,符合人体腕关节功能特性。 相似文献
