新型巷道自卸汽车,包括副车架装置、推拉油缸和举升油缸.副车架装置设于车辆的主车架上,副车架装置上设有可在其上表面滑动的车厢装置,推拉油缸设于车厢装置前部以驱动车厢装置移动,举升油缸设于车厢装置中部以驱动车厢装置倾翻.由于车厢和副车架装置接触面均为斜面设计,方便车厢前后移动,同时能减小车厢翻转倾角,提高了卸载效率.该车也适合仓库的散料运输等.     

电炉连铸机大包滑动水口油缸安装机构改造

分析了原连铸大包滑动水口油缸安装方式存在的问题，并对其进行了改进，把油缸托起安装方式改为机构半自动安装方式，大大减轻了操作人员的劳动强度，提高了油缸安装速度和油缸安装精度。

大方坯拉矫机油缸螺栓断裂分析及改进

为拟制大方坯连铸机的拉矫机主压下油缸的连接螺栓频繁发生断裂失效,根据该油缸的连接固定结构以及工作载荷特征,利用有限元数值分析方法对其进行等比例三维仿真分析,并依据分析结果提出了一系列针对性的改进方案。依据该改进方案进行改造的油缸在现场进行使用后发现,该油缸性能稳定可靠,没有再次发生类似的断裂事故。本次对油缸的改造分析,为类似液压油缸的载荷能力分析提供了一套科学合理的分析方法。     

EPB6280盾构机推进油缸载荷值的提取与分析

为满足国内近年来对盾构机开发的迫切需要,从疲劳分析与可靠性设计的角度出发,对已有资料中盾构推进油缸压力数据进行了提取,得到了盾构推进油缸的峰值载荷,以及推进油缸压力的载荷时间历程.通过对提取的数据进行压缩处理和计数法统计,得到了推进油缸压力数据的分布规律,为实现EPB6280盾构机推进油缸载荷值数值上的模拟和载荷谱的编制提供了数据基础.     

液压缸结构设计探讨

针对目前国内液压缸结构设计中存在的缺陷,提出了一种新型油缸缓冲设计－阶梯缓冲,并对油缸的密封结构作了改进,从而达到了延长油缸使用寿命的目的。     

液压支架油缸金属表面防腐蚀工艺研究

为解决传统液压支架油缸金属表面防腐蚀工艺抗蚀系数低的问题,分析引发液压支架油缸金属表面腐蚀原因,设计引发液压支架油缸金属表面腐蚀原因。通过液压支架油缸金属表面电镀防腐层,液压支架油缸金属表面等效防护,实现液压支架油缸金属表面防腐蚀。设计实例分析,结果表明,设计的防腐蚀工艺抗蚀系数明显高于对照组,能够解决传统液压支架油缸金属表面防腐蚀工艺抗蚀系数低的问题。     

液压泥炮压炮油缸内泄漏量允许值的计算

本文根据日本JIS标准的有关规定,以及宝钢炼铁厂压炮油缸的工况,通过计算确定了该压炮油缸的最大允许内泄漏量,为压炮油缸的制造以及修理后的泄漏检查试验制订了检验标准。

本文介绍了炼铁厂液压缸常用密封件的构造，密封原理和造成泄漏的原因。对１＃高炉泥炮打泥油缸和热风阀油缸改造进行了分析，并提出油缸泄漏防止的几点建议。     

A new remote subsite in ribonuclease A

The interaction between bovine pancreatic ribonuclease A (RNase A) and its RNA substrate extends beyond the scissile bond. Enzymic subsites interact with the bases and the phosphoryl groups of a bound substrate. We evaluated the four cationic residues closest to known subsites for their abilities to interact with a bound nucleic acid. Lys-37, Arg-39, Arg-85, and Lys-104 were replaced individually by an alanine residue, and the resulting enzymes were assayed as catalysts of poly(cytidylic acid) (poly(C)) cleavage. The values of Km and kcat/Km for poly(C) cleavage were affected only by replacing Arg-85. Moreover, the contribution of Arg-85 to the binding of the ground state and the transition state was uniform---Km increased by 15-fold and kcat/Km decreased by 10-fold. The contribution of Arg-85 to binding was also apparent in the values of Kd for complexes with oligonucleotides of different length. This contribution was dependent on salt concentration, as expected from a coulombic interaction between a cationic side chain and an anionic phosphoryl group. Together, these data indicate that Arg-85 interacts with a particular phosphoryl group of a bound nucleic acid. We propose that Arg-85 comprises a new distal subsite in RNase A---the P(-1) subsite.     

A Question of Values: A Reply.

Replies to the comments of Karson, Baler, and Carroll (see record 2005-12006-001) suggesting that the planning of the program of research reported in America's Psychologists (see record 2004-15427-000) intentionally or unintentionally was influenced by value judgments. What they mean to say is that they believe the wrong values were assigned, especially in the study of factors influencing an individual psychologist's research contributions to psychology. The emphasis given to research publication, to which Karson, Baler, and Carroll object, occurred in our study of the way in which significant contributors differed from their less productive colleagues. Attention to publication was essential, we felt, since any contribution to science necessarily involves comunication with one's fellows about results. America's Psychologists did give consideration to other professional endeavors. I think we need to recognize that all of American psychology is today perplexed about the relative values to assign to research and to service in our growing field. Karson, Baler, and Carroll protest that decisions are being made about the desired characteristics of a clinical psychologist on traditional bases without enough attention being given to changing conditions and new roles played by clinical psychologists. A patient with acquired haemophilia A and pemphigus

Haemophilia A is usually a genetic deficiency of coagulation factor VIII (F VIII). The development of antibodies against F VIII is a well known and frequent complication in the treatment of haemophilia A. Rarely, a F VIII inhibitor arises spontaneously, causing a condition which is known as acquired haemophilia A. We describe a patient with acquired haemophilia A and pemphigus, who presented with spontaneous haematomas of the extremities. Laboratory tests showed an activated partial thromboplastin time (aPTT) of 71 s (normal: 26-36 s), a F VIII concentration of 9% (normal: 60-140%), and a F VIII inhibitor-activity of 7.5 Bethesda Units/ml (B.U./ml, normal: 0). The haematomas disappeared within a few days and the laboratory tests normalized within 6 weeks, after administration of a booster of oral corticosteroids. One and a half years after the corticosteroids were stopped, both the clinical and the laboratory course of the patient has been uneventful. As far as we know, the combination of acquired haemophilia A and pemphigus has been reported in the literature only three times before. The diagnosis acquired haemophilia A should be considered in a patient presenting with a newly arisen haemorrhagic diathesis.     

A bladder nephrogenic adenoma. A case report

OBJECTIVE: To report an additional case of nephrogenic adenoma of the bladder. METHODS/RESULTS: A case of nephrogenic adenoma of the urinary bladder in a 28-year-old female is described. Patient clinical history and diagnostic imaging findings are presented. CONCLUSIONS: Nephrogenic adenoma of the bladder is a rare benign tumor with specific histological features that has been associated with previous surgery, trauma, infections and lithiasis. Although it is currently not considered to be a premalignant lesion, its rate of recurrence is high (37%-49%). The treatment of choice is by transurethral resection and yearly cytological, ultrasound and cystoscopic follow-up evaluation to detect recurrence.

A mutation in protein phosphatase 2A regulatory subunit A affects auxin transport in Arabidopsis

The phytohormone auxin controls processes such as cell elongation, root hair development and root branching. Tropisms, growth curvatures triggered by gravity, light and touch, are also auxin-mediated responses. Auxin is synthesized in the shoot apex and transported through the stem, but the molecular mechanism of auxin transport is not well understood. Naphthylphthalamic acid (NPA) and other inhibitors of auxin transport block tropic curvature responses and inhibit root and shoot elongation. We have isolated a novel Arabidopsis thaliana mutant designated roots curl in NPA (rcn1). Mutant seedlings exhibit altered responses to NPA in root curling and hypocotyl elongation. Auxin efflux in mutant seedlings displays increased sensitivity to NPA. The rcn1 mutation was transferred-DNA (T-DNA) tagged and sequences flanking the T-DNA insert were cloned. Analysis of the RCN1 cDNA reveals that the T-DNA insertion disrupts a gene for the regulatory A subunit of protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A-A). The RCN1 gene rescues the rcn1 mutant phenotype and also complements the temperature-sensitive phenotype of the Saccharomyces cerevisiae PP2A-A mutation, tpd3-1. These data implicate protein phosphatase 2A in the regulation of auxin transport in Arabidopsis.
