A new observable,yield ratio of d/(d t ^3He ^4He)produced in heavy ion reactions is suggested as a measure of entropy.It is found that in quantum statistical model (QSM),which is quite commonly used for extracting the entropy,the relation between this ratio and entropy is almost linear and independent of break-up density and N/Z ratio of the system.The experimental data of ^12C ^197Au from 30MeV/u to 84MeV/u and of ^197Au ^197Au from 100McV/u to 250MeV/u are compared with QSM calcuation results.The values of entropy are obtained for C Au and Au Au system without assumption on break-up density.  相似文献

We have been developing a high-performance laser ion source (LIS) for practical applications since 2009. Ideally, the LIS should generate a carbon beam with a peak current of 20 mA and a pulse duration of over 1 μs. We selected a Nd:YAG laser with a Gaussian-coupled resonator as the laser source based on our experience of generating high-charge-state ion beams. This laser can produce fundamental pulses with a power of 650 mJ and durations of about 6 ns. The graphite target used is 10 cm high and 10 cm in diameter, as it can be irradiated with up to 105 laser shots. The maximum extraction voltage was designed to be 50 kV. We have already finished designing the LIS and we commenced fabrication. We intend to measure the source performance by performing plasma and beam tests up to the end of March 2011.  相似文献

Total neutron yields and neutron emission rates in the forward direction for 50MeV/u ^18O-ion on thick Be,Cu,Au targets have been measured using an activation technique.The results indicate that neutron yields and emission rates in the forward direction depend on the atomic number of target nuclei,i.e.the lighter target the greater neurtron yield and neutron emission rate.Meanwhile,the neutron yield of ^18O-ion is greater than that of 12C-ion when target nucleus and incident energy per nucleon are identical.  相似文献

采用80MeV/u^20Ne^10 离子束贯穿处理豆科与禾本科牧草种子,大田和根尖细胞观测的结果表明,随着贯穿剂量的增加,幼苗生长明显减弱,呈负相关性。而染色体畸变率和微核率随剂量的增加而显著增加,呈正相关性。同时,从大田长势来看,禾本科牧草比豆科牧草对重离子辐射敏感性强,禾本科牧草适宜剂量为20-30Gy,豆科牧草为150Gy。  相似文献

用120 kev碳离子注入非晶SiO2薄膜,再用高能Xe、Pb和U离子辐照.注碳剂量范围为2.0×1017-8.6×1017 cm-2,高能离子辐照剂量1.0×1010-3.8×1012 cm-2.辐照后的样品用傅里叶变换红外光谱仪进行系统分析.实验结果显示,高能离子辐照在注碳非晶SiO2薄膜中形成了大量的Si-O-C键和Si-C键.这些Si-O-C结构具有环链、开链和笼链等多种结构形式.随电子能损、辐照剂量或者沉积能量密度的增加,SiOC结构由类笼向环/开链结构演化.对高能重离子驱动产生SiOC结构的机理进行了简单的讨论.  相似文献

Ion irradiation of polymers can induce irreversible changes in their macroscopic properties such as electrical and optical properties and the surface-related mechanical properties. Electronic excitation, ionization, chains scission, cross-links and mass losses are accepted as the fundamental events that give rise to the observed macroscopic changes. Detailed and systematic study of radiation induced effects in polymers enriches not only the knowledge of ion-material interactions but also supplies new bases for polymeric materials synthesis through ion-beam technologies. Previous work has concentrated mainly on effects induced by low-ionization particles such as γ-rays and electrons. Since 1980,s the application of high energy heavy ion accelerators enables the use of high energy heavy ion as an irradiation source, and many new and exciting effects and phenomena have been revealed.Energetic heavy ions in matter lose energy mainly through electronic excitation and ionization. Compared to low-ionization particles, high energy heavy ion possesses higher LET(linear energy transfer) values which can reach several to several tens keV/nm. As most of the primary ionizations and excitations occur close to the ion trajectory in a core of a few nanometers in diameter, a continuous damaged zone along the ion path can be induced,in which all bonds inside the zone can be destroyed due to the high rate energy deposition. Studies on this particularity of high energy heavy ion irradiation and its effects in materials will cause great influence on industry as well as on our daily life.The previous work has revealed the great difference in the effects induced by high energy heavy ions compared to the other particles. It has been shown that under irradiation with lower LET particles gas release depends on molecular structure and material composition, whereas under irradiation with high LET particles, such as high energy heavy ions, it is not the case. Some materials that undergo degradation under γ-irradiation can be cross-linked by irradiation with high energy heavy ions. In some cases new molecular structures were induced by high energy heavy ions with sufficiently high LET values. In recent years we have irradiated polyethylterephthalate (PET), polystyrene (PS), polycarbonate (PC) and polyimide (PI) with high energy Ar, Kr, Xe and U ion beams.Chemical and physical changes of the materials induced by the high energy heavy ion beams were investigated by Fourier-transform infrared ray spectroscopy, ultraviolet and visible transmission spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction measurements, from which damage cross-sections of various functional groups were determined[1]. An energy loss threshold for damage of phenyl ring in PET has been derived and difference in amorphization of PET under high and low LET irradiations was observed. It is found that alkyne end groups can be induced in all the materials above a certain electronic energy loss threshold, which is found to be about 0.8 keV/nm for PS and 0.4 keV/nm for PC. The production cross-section of alkyne end group increases with increasing electronic energy loss and shows saturation at high electronic energy loss values.  相似文献

应用不同剂量重离子束12C+6对黑曲霉出发菌株4﹟进行辐照选育,选育出的高产酸菌株进行发酵试验,应用酸碱中和法测定发酵液中柠檬酸的含量。结果表明:当重离子12C+6的辐照剂量为60 Gy时,正突变率最大,为21%。诱变后的菌株通过酸斑法初筛、摇瓶复筛选育出1株菌株H4002,其发酵液中柠檬酸含量比出发菌株4﹟提高了18%。这说明利用重离子束12C+6辐照处理黑曲霉产生菌可以得到高产柠檬酸突变菌株,其诱变效果显著。  相似文献

利用一套由1mm厚的PILOT-U和40mm厚的NE115塑料闪烁体组成的Phoswich(光叠层望远镜)探测器测量了40Ar(25MeV/u)+197Au反应中出射的产物,粒子鉴别采用Phoswich的快慢成分方法.结果表明该方法能清楚地分辨出粒子的电荷.对Z=1的粒子,p、d和t亦能分开.  相似文献

为探讨重离子束(12C6+)治疗皮肤癌的临床疗效及不良反应,对12例患者(志愿者)进行了重离子治疗临床研究。采用100MeV/u重离子束能量,RBE(Relative biologic effectiveness)值2.5-3.0,放疗剂量60-70GyE,单次剂量2.5-5.41Gy,1f/d,连续6-7d的治疗模式。根据治疗后3个月肿瘤大小变化评价近期疗效,由放射治疗肿瘤组(RTOG)按照急性放射损伤分级标准判断急性损伤。随访3月后发现,10位患者局部肿瘤达到完全缓解(CR),2例部分缓解(PR),局部肿瘤靶区仅有1-2级皮肤反应外,均未见其它放疗副反应。研究结果提示,重离子束治疗皮肤癌疗效好,无明显不良反应,显著缩短治疗时间,安全性高。  相似文献

从探索定点定位诱变要求出发,提出了重离子束Bragg峰可作为一个有用手段,阐述了测量重离子束Bragg峰的原理和实验装置,采用一对电离室测定初始能量为50MeV/u左右^14N^7+离子束在物质密度归一到小麦材料后的Bragg峰位。最终得到峰位深度约为4.85nm,离子束的最大射程为5.5mm左右。  相似文献

为监测分化型甲癌(differentiated thyroid carcinoma,DTC)患者131I治疗后手及颈部近距离剂量当量率变化情况,指导患者如何进行最优化的辐射防护。以100例DTC患者按治疗次数分为两组,每组各50例,组1为首次行131I清甲治疗患者(服用131I剂量3 700~4 440 MBq),组2为再次行131I清灶治疗患者(服用131I剂量6 660~8 140 MBq),采用Inspector Alert γ射线检测仪分别对两组患者于131I治疗后出院时、出院后1周、2周、1个月及2个月进行双手及颈前部剂量当量率测量,测量距离包括颈前部、手掌部30 cm处及紧贴皮肤处。结果表明,(1)随着时间的延后,各监测时间点剂量当量率逐渐降低。患者出院后1个月距患者颈部、手掌部30 cm处剂量当量率、出院后2个月各监测部位剂量当量率均值均在天然本底范围内( 0.25 μSv/h) 。(2)131I治疗出院时,患者颈部剂量当量率均值均大于手掌部位,但出院后1周、2周及1个月,患者手掌部位剂量当量率均大于颈部。(3)出院后1个月内,一疗程患者颈部各时间点剂量当量率均值均大于二疗程(p< 0.05),二疗程患者紧贴手部各时间点剂量当量率均值明显大于一疗程(p< 0.05)。131I治疗患者刚出院时,各监测部位剂量当量率均较高(>20 μSv/h),建议患者出院后1周内避免与他人亲密接触,2周内避免长时间超亲密接触,避免与特殊人群(如婴幼儿、孕妇等)零距离接触(如拥抱、亲吻等),出院后1个月距离患者≥30 cm的社交活动和出院后2个月的社交活动可完全不受限制。患者手部容易被污染导致剂量当量率较高,尤其是二疗程患者,应做好辐射防护隔离措施。  相似文献

Material removal induced by HIBS (Heavy Ion Backscattering Spectrometry) analysis has been investigated. For this purpose the thickness of thin metal films deposited on graphite was measured as a function of fluence of the Si and Ti projectile ion beam. Steady state erosion rates are in fair agreement with surface sputtering rates calculated by SRIM. For some layers however, the first few monolayers are removed at a much faster rate. A comparison with standard He RBS is made and consequences for the applicability of HIBS are discussed.  相似文献

前人曾用重离子束注入生物小分子,借助先进的仪器分析手段,对重离子注入质量沉积进行了初步研究,但质量沉积对处于生命状态下的活生物体组织细胞和生物大分子所带来的生物学效应,即质量沉积效应的研究还未见报道。将来可用放射性重离子束注入活细胞和生物分子,借助放射自显影示踪、放射性测量和分子生物学等研究技术对重离子注入质量沉积效应开展进一步研究。  相似文献

The graded energy deposition of heavy ion beam irradiation to polymeric materials was utilized to synthesize a novel proton exchange membrane (PEM) with the graded density of sulfonic acid groups toward the thickness direction. Stacked Poly(tetrafluoroethylene-co-hexafluoropropylene) (FEP) films were irradiated by Xe54+ ion beam with the energy of 6 MeV/u under a vacuum condition. The induced trapped radicals by the irradiation were measured by electron spin resonance (ESR) spectroscopy. Irradiated films were grafted with styrene monomer and then sulfonated. X-ray photo-electron spectroscopy (XPS) spectra showed that the densities of sulfonic acid groups were controlled for injection “Surface” and transmit “Back” sides of the fabricated PEM. The membrane electrode assembly (MEA) fabricated by the function-graded PEM showed improved fuel cell performance in terms of voltage stability. It was expected that the function-graded PEM could control the graded concentration of sulfonic acid groups in PEM.  相似文献
