折叠波导行波管是近年来涌现的一类新型毫米波大功率器件。它具有宽频带和大功率的优点,制造成本低,且可以与微波功率模块(MPM)组合实现小型化;由于紧凑的整体极靴,能对低电压电子注聚焦,因而很适合要求轻重量的场合。折叠波导行波管在短厘米波段和毫米波段具有极好的发展前景。  相似文献

应用电磁场仿真软件对折叠波导慢波结构进行理论分析、结构设计和数值模拟。计算和分析了折叠波导的色散特性和散射参量,根据折叠波导特殊结构采用了整体极靴结构。模拟得出了折叠波导的周期磁场,通过调节磁场大小对电子注进行有效聚焦,并得到了电子束在磁场中的运动轨迹。结果表明,折叠波导是一种很适合用作毫米波大功率行波管的慢波结构。  相似文献

本文介绍了一种能在平行板波导中产生旋转模式的共面波导馈电方式.用这一馈电方式馈电的同心径向线缝隙天线可以产生前向波束.该馈电方式具有平面结构、易于集成化等优点,还可用于毫米波波段.对馈电点位置及幅度相位的适当调整,也可用于空心锥形波束的馈电.计算机仿真和实验结果说明了本文的设计思路和设计方法可以满足工程需要.  相似文献

All-metal slow-wave structures are being paid great attention because of their advantages, such as good heat dissipation, high power capacity, wide passband, good wholeness of structure and large size etc. The emphases in this paper concentrate on the present state of study of four types of structures: helical groove, ring-plane, folded waveguide and periodically loaded waveguide, including theoretical analyses and practical applications. The problems and directions for future studies of these types of slow-wave circuits are also discussed. It is pointed out that all-metal slow-wave structures are suitable for applications in millimeter wave vacuum devices, like TWT, BWO, Gyro-TWT, and relativistic devices.  相似文献

In millimeter wave range, high-power traveling wave tube (TWT) is a key device with broadband and high-power amplification. Basis of comparing traditional and new type slow wave circuits for high-power TWT in MMW, analysis and computation of propagating and RF performance for folded wave circuit are carried out. Theoretic calculation and experimental test show that folded wave circuit is an ideal slow wave structure for broadband and high-power TWT in MMW. There is extreme wide application for the circuit in high-power TWT. This development possesses important consult value to designer for MMW power amplifiers.  相似文献

Characterized with full-metal structure, high output power and broad bandwidth, microfabricated folded waveguide is considered as a robust slow-wave structure for millimeter wave traveling-wave tubes. In this paper, cold-test (without considering the real electron beam) properties were studied and optimized by 3D simulation on slow-wave structure, for designing a 220 GHz folded waveguide traveling-wave tube. The parametric analysis on cold-test properties, i.e., phase velocity, beam-wave interaction impedance and cold circuit attenuation, were conducted in half-period circuit with high frequency structure simulator, assisted by analytical model and equivalent circuit model. Through detailed parametric analyses, interference between specified structural parameters is found on determining beam-wave interaction impedance. A discretized matrix optimization for interaction impedance was effectively carried out to overcome the interference. A range of structural parameters with optimized interaction impedance distributions were obtained. Based on the optimized results, a broadband folded waveguide with cold pass-band of about 80 GHz, flat phase velocity dispersion and fairly high interaction impedance was designed for a 220 GHz central frequency traveling-wave tube. A three-dB bandwidth of 20.5 GHz and a maximum gain of 21.2 dB were predicted by small signal analysis for a 28 mm-long lossy circuit.  相似文献

提出一种新型集成于单层微带基片的毫米波集成波导微带转换 ,由一圆形微带谐振器、微带共面波导探针组成。利用全波分析软件对该转换器进行了分析计算、优化设计。测试了波导微带转换实物 ,结果表明 ,在Ka波段在 1 GHz频带内 ,该波导微带转换具有较低的插入损耗 ( <0 .4d B)和反射损耗 ( <-1 4d B)。可满足相关毫米波微带集成电路系统的应用要求。  相似文献

全金属慢波结构由于具有热耗散能力强,功率容量大,比耦合腔慢性线带宽度,结构整体性好,尺寸大等一系列优点而备受人们关注。本文着重介绍了螺旋槽、环板、曲折波导及周期加载波导四类结构的发展现状,包括理论研究与实际应用情况,探讨了新型慢波线在技术上存在的问题及今后的努力方向,指出全金属慢波结构将在毫米波行波管、返波管、毫米波回旋行波管及相对论器件等方面得到广泛应用。  相似文献

文中介绍了微带波导转换、一分八和一分三波导功分网络。利用国产15 W GaN功率单片,首先设计8路波导功率合成,然后进行3路波导功率合成,最后构成24路合成。在毫米波频段2 GHz带宽内,整体24路波导功率合成网络合成损耗<0.8 dB,合成效率达到83%,解决了传统合成电路合成效率随合成网络级数增加而下降的问题,满足了高效率与大功率的要求。  相似文献

A general dispersion relation for slow wave cyclotron traveling wave interaction in a folded waveguide is derived from a fluid dynamical treatment. The serpentine structure is formed by folding a double-ridged rectangular waveguide so that the orientation of the magnetic field changes (H-plane bend) instead of the conventional E-plane bend configuration. The H-plane bend structure has the potential for the production of high power, broad band radiation. For a cold beam, the linear theory predicts a gain of 2.0-2.5 dB/cm and a bandwidth of 20-25% in the millimeter wave frequencies. The bandwidth is sensitive to the axial velocity spread of the beam. The bandwidth decreases to 10% at δυzz=3%. Means to suppress the backward wave oscillations have to be applied for using the full bandwidth  相似文献

损耗是慢波结构的重要参量之一.采用理论与仿真的方法分析了在亚毫米波段(220 GHz)折叠波导慢波结构的导体损耗.在理论模型计算了弯曲波导段的衰减系数,并考虑了波导内表面粗糙度对电导率的影响,从而使模型更接近实际情况.计算结果表明,弯曲波导段的衰减常数大于直渡导段,而且理论模型计算出的每周期折叠波导电路的损耗与高频仿真软件HFSS的结果吻合较好,说明理论模型有较高的精确度.在此基础上,分析了慢渡结构参数变化对损耗的影响.  相似文献

Microwave one-ports with the volume-inhomogeneous dissipative filling are analyzed and optimized using 3D numerical models. This paper presents a tapered ridge-loaded folded waveguide (FWG) slow-wave structure (SWS) for broadband and high power millimeter wave traveling wave tube (TWT). The radio-frequency characteristics including dispersion properties, interaction impedance, S-parameters are analyzed. And based upon these results, the nonlinear large signal performance of the tapered ridge-loaded folded waveguide TWT working in W-band is simulated by 3-D particle-in-cell code. In the same ridge length, the tapered FWG has lower reflection and radio-frequency loss than the normal ridge-loaded FWG. Besides, the tapered ridge-loaded FWG TWT also has higher electron efficiency and larger bandwidth, which is more suitable for millimeter-wave TWT.  相似文献
