A hexagonal shaped circularly polarized (CP) wideband slot antenna using multiple stubs has been proposed and investigated. A hexagonal slot is created in the ground plane with tapered sections improving the impedance matching. Two radiators are incorporated in the structure, which is responsible for generating orthogonal degenerate modes; hence, CP radiation is achieved for the proposed antenna. For enhancing the gain of antenna, one radiator is directly connected to feed line and another one embedded in the ground plane. An inverted L-shaped arm is inserted in the slot to enhance and tune the circular polarized behavior. The presented radiator have input reflection coefficient ranges from 5.67 to 8.50 GHz (39.97%) and axial ratio bandwidth (ARBW) of 5.60–8.50 GHz (41.13%). The proposed antenna provides overlapping bandwidths of 5.67–8.50 GHz (39.97%) having average gains of 5.25 dBi within the entire frequency bands. The presented antenna is exceptionally good for the application of mobile and satellite communications. 相似文献

为提升5G无线通信系统容量,设计了一款基于V 形缝隙耦合馈电的宽带高增益圆极化天线。该天线采用双层辐射贴片结构,拓展天线的阻抗带宽,并分别在辐射贴片和寄生贴片上刻蚀一对半径不等、位置正交的双圆形缝隙,有效改善了天线的圆极化特性。通过加载平板反射器提高天线的前后比,实现良好的定向辐射。实测结果表明,驻波比小于2的阻抗带宽为53.55% (2.27~3.93 GHz),在半功率波束宽度范围内轴比小于3 dB,轴比带宽为27.38%(2.9~3.82 GHz),在工作频带内实测的天线平均增益达到8.22 dBi。该天线适合作为5G多天线系统中的智能天线单元进行自适应波束赋形。 相似文献

提出了一种十字形缝隙加载的小型宽带及圆极化微带贴片天线的设计方法。该天线通过在方形贴片上加载一个大尺寸的十字形缝隙实现天线的尺寸缩减,介质基片采用由FR4和空气层组成的层叠结构,在缝隙中嵌入L型枝节,只需通过调整枝节上同轴线馈电点的位置来获得圆极化或宽带阻抗匹配。ANSYS HFSS仿真分析表明,天线的圆极化带宽(AR≤3 dB)为1.7%,阻抗带宽(VSWR≤2)为5.8%,天线在宽带范围内具有稳定的增益,峰值增益为7.8 dB,同时贴片面积缩减了52.3%。改变馈电点的位置可调节两个谐振频率使天线阻抗带宽达到9.4%,比传统的微带贴片天线阻抗带宽提高了114%。 相似文献

A compact Ultra-WideBand(UWB) slot antenna is presented in this paper. The slot is modified rectangular in shape and asymmetrically cut in the ground plane. A hexagonal patch with two stepped CoPlanar Waveguide(CPW) feed is used to excite the slot. Wider impedance bandwidth is achieved due to the extra inductive reactance created by the asymmetric slot which neutralizes the capacitive reactance of the hexagonal patch. The measured impedance bandwidth of the proposed antenna is 11.85 GHz(2.9–14.75 GHz). The radiation patterns of the proposed antenna are obtained and found to be omni-directional in H-plane and bi-directional in E-plane. 相似文献

A stacked slot antenna is proposed and studied to improve the performance of a circularly-polarised (CP) annular-ring slot antenna that has the disadvantages of a narrow bandwidth, a lower gain and bidirectional radiation. The stacked antenna structure is composed of a circular wide slot, a parasitic patch and a metallic reflector, and its CP radiation is excited through the proximity coupling of an L-shaped microstrip line. A 4 times 4 array using the stacked slot antenna as an element is also developed and designed at X-band. Details of the antenna design and obtained results are presented. 相似文献

A wide bandwidth and wide beamwidth L-probe-fed patch antenna array with a novel design of grounded structure is proposed and tested. The antenna is made of stacked patches supported by plastic screws. The patches are proximity fed via L-shaped probe. By cutting slots in two vertical side walls of a box-shaped grounded structure, an impedance bandwidth larger than 20% (SWR<1.5), an H-plane beamwidth over 90/spl deg/, and much reduction in backlobe radiation can be obtained. 针对微波无线输能系统中接收天线质量轻、体积小、剖面低、易与微波电路集成的特点,设计了一款新型的具有谐波抑制功能的宽带圆极化宽缝接收天线。通过在长方形缝隙中添加末端具有圆形贴片的交叉结构实现圆极化性能,添加切角结构展宽圆极化带宽。在馈线上添加具有一定长度的开路支节,配合使用缺陷地结构共同实现谐波抑制功能。研究并测试了天线的反射系数、轴比、增益以及远场辐射方向图,仿真与实测基本吻合。仿真结果显示,该天线很好地抑制了基频5.8 GHz的二次谐波和三次谐波,在4.5~6.2 GHz的范围内S11<-10 dB,相对阻抗带宽31.8%;基频5.8 GHz处的轴比AR=1.3 dB,在频率范围4.2~6.15 GHz内轴比AR<3 dB,相对轴比带宽37.7%;基频5.8 GHz仿真增益6.7 dB。 相似文献

A dual symmetrical coplanar waveguide (CPW)-fed small size wideband printed square slot antenna (SSA) with dual linearly and circularly polarized radiation capability is presented. The antenna is composed using a square slot, two symmetrical orthogonal CPW feed lines connected to horizontal and vertical arm of L-shaped radiator, an embedded parasitic inverted-L strip at the lower left corner of the square ground slot and engraving slots in the ground plane. Circular polarization (CP) is achieved due to two orthogonal CPW feed lines and a common L-shaped radiator. Isolation between ports is improved by engraving slots at the lower left corner of ground plane and embedded parasitic inverted-L strip. The sense of dual-polarization can be changed in pass-band by changing the port excitation. Measured antenna reveals that an 84.4% (4.6 GHz, 3.15–7.75 GHz) −10 dB impedance bandwidth (IBW) and about 33% (2.03 GHz, 5.12–7.15 GHz) 3-dB axial ratio bandwidth (ARBW). A new dual-polarized slot-coupled microstrip patch antenna is presented, which can achieve high-isolation, low cross-polarization levels, a wide bandwidth, and low backward radiation levels. The coupling slot is an H-shaped slot. For wide bandwidth and easy integration with active circuits, it uses slot-coupled stacked microstrip patches. The theoretical analysis is based on the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method. First, a parametric study on the input impedance of the antenna with a single input port is presented. Based on the results, a dual-polarized microstrip antenna is designed, fabricated, and then measured. The measured return loss exhibits an impedance bandwidth of over 20.9% and the isolation between two polarization ports is better than 36 dB over the bandwidth. The cross-polarization levels in both E and H planes are better than 22 dB. The front-to-back ratio of the antenna radiation pattern is better than 21 dB. Both theoretical and experimental results of return loss, isolation, and radiation patterns are presented and discussed. 相似文献

In this paper, a different method for designing a new slot antenna with dual band-notched characteristic for ultra-wideband applications is presented. The proposed antenna consists of a square-ring radiating stub with an inverted T-shaped strip protruded inside the ring, a feed-line with an E-shaped strip protruded inside the rectangular slot, and a ground plane with a pair of L-shaped strips protruded inside the extra rectangular slot. In this study, by using a a pair of L-shaped strips protruded inside the slot in the ground plane, additional resonance is excited and hence much wider impedance bandwidth can be produced. By using this modified structure in the ground plane, the antenna provides a wide usable fractional bandwidth of more than 130 % (3.01–15.35 GHz). To generate a single band-notched function, we convert a square radiating patch to a square-ring with an inverted T-shaped strip. Finally, by adding a rectangular slot with a protruded E-shaped strip in the microstrip feed line, a dual band-notched function is achieved. The measured results reveal that the presented dual band-notched slot antenna offers a very wide bandwidth with two notched bands, covering all the 5–6 GHz wireless local area network, 8–8.5 GHz international telecommunication union bands. 相似文献

A microstrip antenna array for circular polarisation (CP) using a proximity L-strip line feed is proposed and experimentally investigated. By placing a cross-slot with unequal slot lengths on the circular patch, circular polarisation can be excited. Also, a sequential rotation technique is adopted for the design of this CP antenna array to widen the bandwidth. The impedance and axial ratio bandwidth values are 78 and 16.15%, respectively. A cavity-backed loop antenna is developed for producing broadband circularly polarized (CP) radiation. The antenna configuration consists of a slot loop and a strip loop. The slot loop radiates a CP wave at a lower frequency while the strip loop produces CP radiation at a higher frequency. A combination of the two frequencies leads to a bandwidth enhancement. The slot/strip loop antenna is fed by a single straight microstrip line. It is demonstrated that the cavity-backed slot/strip loop antenna can achieve an axial ratio (les 3 dB) bandwidth of 19% with good impedance matching. The antenna configuration is described and the operating principles for broadband circular polarization and impedance matching are analyzed.
