This paper presents a novel method for designing a controller that simultaneously stabilizes a collection of single-input nonlinear systems. The control Lyapunov function approach is used to derive necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of time-invariant simultaneously stabilizing state feedback controllers. Additionally, a universal formula for constructing a continuous simultaneously stabilizing controller when the provided sufficient condition is satisfied is presented. For any collection of second-order (and third-order) feedback linearizable systems in canonical form, global simultaneous stabilization via a single state feedback controller is shown to be always possible. Two examples are included for illustration.  相似文献

This paper considers the simultaneous stabilization problem of a collection of single‐input nonlinear systems. Based on the technique of control Lyapunov functions (CLFs), a sufficient condition for the existence of a simultaneously stabilizing state feedback controller is proposed. It is shown that a collection of feedback linearizable systems in canonical form can be simultaneously globally asymptotically stabilized by a single state feedback controller. Moveover, for a set of three‐order chaotic dynamical systems, the simultaneous stabilization problem is considered and a similar result is derived. All the proposed simultaneously stabilizing state feedback controllers are explicitly constructed. Numerical examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed schemes. This paper addresses the Lagrange stability analysis problem and the state feedback Lagrange stabilization problem for pendulum-like systems with multiple nonlinearities. An existing method for analysing the Lagrange stability of pendulum-like systems with a single nonlinearity is generalized to pendulum-like systems with multiple nonlinearities. Also, a non-degeneracy condition of the existing Lagrange stability criterion is removed and a strict frequency-domain inequality is used instead. To study the state feedback Lagrange stabilization problem, this paper develops an extended strict bounded real lemma for linear systems which are not stable but stabilizable. A sufficient condition for state feedback Lagrange stabilization is proposed in terms of an algebraic Riccati equation with a sign indefinite solution.  相似文献

This paper investigates the simultaneous stabilization of a collection of continuous single‐input non‐linear stochastic systems, with coefficients that are not necessarily locally Lipschitz. A sufficient condition for the existence of a continuous simultaneously stabilizing feedback control is proposed — it is based on the generalized stochastic Lyapunov theorem and on the technique of stochastic control Lyapunov functions. This condition is also necessary, provided that the system's coefficients satisfy some regularity conditions. Moreover, the proposed feedback can be chosen to be bounded under the assumption that appropriate control Lyapunov functions are known. All the proposed simultaneously stabilizing state feedback controllers are explicitly constructed. Finally, two simulation examples are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.  相似文献

This paper investigates the output feedback stabilization of Boolean control networks (BCNs) by using the semi-tensor product method and presents a number of new results. First, based on the algebraic expression of BCNs, a necessary and sufficient condition is presented for the existence of output feedback stabilizers. Second, a constructive procedure is proposed to design output feedback stabilization controllers for BCNs. The study of an illustrative example shows that the new results obtained in this paper are very effective in designing output feedback stabilizers for BCNs.  相似文献

In this paper, the problem of simultaneous stabilization in probability by state feedback is investigated for a class of stochastic nonlinear systems whose drift and diffusion terms are dependent on the control and for which classical methods are not applicable. Under the assumption that a collection of stochastic control Lyapunov functions (SCLFs) is known and based on the generalized stochastic Lyapunov theorem, we derive sufficient conditions for the simultaneous stabilization in probability by a continuous state feedback controller that we explicitly compute. We also derive a necessary condition when the system coefficients satisfy some regularity conditions. This work generalizes previous results on the simultaneous stabilization of stochastic nonlinear systems. The obtained results are illustrated by a numerical example.  相似文献

A probabilistic Boolean network (PBN) is a discrete-time system composed of a family of Boolean networks (BNs) between which the PBN switches in a stochastic fashion. Studying control-related problems in PBNs may provide new insights into the intrinsic control in biological systems and enable us to develop strategies for manipulating complex biological systems using exogenous inputs. This paper investigates the problem of state feedback stabilization for PBNs. Based on the algebraic representation of logic functions, a necessary and sufficient condition is derived for the existence of a globally stabilizing state feedback controller, and a control design method is proposed when the presented condition holds. It is shown that the controller designed via the proposed procedure can simultaneously stabilize a collection of PBNs that are composed of the same constituent BNs.  相似文献

Simultaneous stabilization for a collection of multi-input nonlinear systems with uncertain parameters is dealt with in this paper. A systematic method for obtaining a control Lyapunov function (CLF) is presented by solving the Lyapunov equation. A sufficient condition that a quadratic CLF is a common CLF for these systems is acquired. A continuous state feedback is designed to simultaneously stabilize these systems. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed scheme is illustrated by a simulation example.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with robust stabilization of nonlinear systems with unstructured uncertainty via state feedback. First, a robust stability condition is given for a closed loop system which is composed of a nonlinear nominal system and an unstructured uncertainty. A necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of a linear state feedback controller which will simultaneously stabilize a finite collection of single-input linear systems is presented. This condition can be checked numerically through the solution of a non-linear programming problem presented here and can be used to determine whether or not a particular simultaneous stabilization problem has a solution. If the stabilization problem has a solution, the method provides a means of constructing a suitable controller. The proposed method is very versatile. It is a simple matter to limit the size of elements of the feedback gain vector and thus ensure that the control action is not excessive. In addition, for simultaneous stabilization problems which have a range of possible solutions, the proposed method makes it possible to select one which yields good performance.  相似文献

In this paper the problem of pole assignment in a disk by output feedback for continuous-or discrete-time uncertain systems is addressed. A necessary and sufficient condition for quadratic d stabilizability by output feedback is presented. This condition is expressed in terms of two parameter-dependent Riccati equations whose solutions satisfy two extra conditions. In this paper the finite-time stabilization of continuous-time linear systems is considered; this problem has been previously solved in the state feedback case. In this work the assumption that the state is available for feedback is removed and the output feedback problem is investigated. The main result provided is a sufficient condition for the design of a dynamic output feedback controller which makes the closed loop system finite-time stable. Such sufficient condition is given in terms of an LMI optimization problem; this gives the opportunity of fitting the finite-time control problem in the general framework of the LMI approach to the multi-objective synthesis. In this context an example illustrates the design of a controller which guarantees, at the same time, finite-time stability together with some pole placement requirements.  相似文献
