往复走丝电火花线切割采用大气介质代替传统的液体介质,对Cr12MoV模具钢进行电火花线切割精加工,较液体介质可获得更高的表面加工质量,但也存在电蚀表面碳化、加工不稳定、电极丝热疲劳损伤大等问题。为解决上述问题,尝试采用气液双介质对模具钢进行电火花线切割精加工实验研究。结果表明,在相同电参数条件下,选择合适的进给速度、切削深度、运丝速度和液膜厚度,气液双介质中加工表面质量较液中明显提高,电极丝损耗较气中明显降低。  相似文献

根据中走丝电火花线切割加工的特点,研制出一种新型中走丝电火花线切割工作液。分析了中走丝电火花线切割工作液性能对加工的影响,探讨了工作液的组成和各种添加剂的选择。加工试验表明,研制的走丝电火花线切割工作液符合中走丝电火花线切割加工特性和防锈要求,能在高加工效率下加工得到较高表面质量的工件。  相似文献

工作液作为高速走丝电火花线切割加工的重要组分,除了完成冷却、排屑等功能外,还作为放电介质直接参与加工,所以其本身对加工工艺指标影响很大。实践证明,电火花加工在液体介质中进行最稳定,并且工作液对加工工艺指标(如切割速度、表面粗糙度,加工精度等)影响很大。电火花线切割加工使用的工作液应具有加工性能好、使用寿命长、环境污染小、对人体无害、价格便宜等技术要求。  相似文献

文中研究了在大气和乳化液两种介质中,走丝速度对高速走丝电火花线切割精加工的影响。实验结果表明,气中线切割加工具有加工表面直线度好、加工速度(材料去除率)高等优点。另外还发现,无论气中或液中加工时,随着走丝速度的提高,加工速度都明显增大,而同时使加工表面的直线度变差。  相似文献

针对数控高速走丝电火花线切割加工中的电参数的选取,本文运用二次通用旋转组合设计方法进行了工艺数据试验,提出了针对人工神经网络建模的数据预处理方法,建立了基于BP神经网络的电火花线切割加工参数模型。该模型可有效地反映高速走丝电火花线切割加工的工艺规律,实现在指定加工要求下的加工参数的优化选取。  相似文献

为了提高Cr12MoV模具钢电火花线切割半精加工的表面质量和加工效率,采用在气、液双介质中进行第2次切割(半精加工)加工试验,并且与在液体介质、气体介质中的加工效果进行比较.研究结果表明,在小脉冲宽度、小峰值电流、进给速度为150 pm/s、切削深度为30 μm、液膜厚度为4 μm以及运丝速度为5 m/s的加工条件下,在气液双介质中可以一次切割完成半精加工,加工的表面质量与在气体介质中加工的表面质量相近,明显优于在液体介质中加工的表面质量;加工效率明显高于液体介质与气体介质中的加工效率.  相似文献

The increasing adoption of exotic and hard to cut materials in high-end applications makes electric discharge machining (EDM) process more relevant than ever. In particular, wire EDM variant (WEDM) deserves attention due to its ability to cut the workpiece's surroundings without completely evaporating the unused portion of the rare and expensive exotic materials. However, WEDM is a stochastic process that still lacks complete mathematical models and is driven by a myriad of parameters that will make its control a complex task. In WEDM, whenever the wire is fed too fast, the process will be interrupted not only by short circuits, but the wire electrode is most likely to break, jeopardising process efficiency in many ways. Currently, most of the literature has focused efficiency efforts in proposing a trade-off among parameters without a complete correlation with servo and control strategies. Therefore, this review aims to find and analyse the state-of-the-art approaches for controlling the Wire EDM process. A systematic literature review is conducted to identify and provide an adequate understanding of the best control strategies, fundamental parameters, and role. With no previous studies found, the present review focuses exclusively on servo control. First, it provides a comprehensive literature framework covering four decades, to next glimpse future developments of WEDM control strategies. Potential adoption of the findings can result in a deeper understanding of control variables and a broader and more efficient concept for WEDM servo feed control.  相似文献

In electrical discharge machining, both the gas and liquid dielectric have unique advantages and inevitable disadvantages. The mist medium with a special property between gas with liquid is expected to have a better performance in EDM. In this paper, the performance of mist deionized water jet has been studied based on the disadvantages of deionized water in deep micro hole drilling: electrolysis action, electrophoresis action and gap-contamination by debris. Based on the analyzation on the advantages of mist jet, three projects of experiments have been done to verify its performance on the suppressing of electrolysis action and improving the debris exhaust. The results show that the micro EDM drilling with high machining speed and accuracy can be realized with mist jet. This method is particularly effective in deep micro hole drilling, since deeper holes can be obtained at faster machining speed with mist jet due to its significant improvement in debris exhaust.  相似文献

Electrodischarge diamond grinding (EDDG) is a hybrid machining process comprising conventional grinding and electrodischarge machining (EDM) as its constituent processes. It has the potential of shaping advanced engineering materials. Temperature of the workpiece and material removal rate are chosen as responses in full factorial (33) design with current, pulse-on time, and wheel speed as process parameters. Specific energy is a vital consideration for any machining process. EDM is known for its inefficiency. Experiments were conducted with a specially fabricated bronze disk as tool electrode to evaluate specific energy in EDM, and the results were compared with that of EDDG. It has been found that specific energy required in EDDG is less than that in EDM with a rotating disk electrode.  相似文献

Electrical discharge machining (EDM) is one of the most promising non-traditional micro-scale machining methods. Because several operating parameters that are insignificant in macro EDM cannot be neglected during micro EDM process, models derived from the macro EDM process may be inappropriate at the micro scale. This paper contains a comprehensive review of size effects in traditional micro-machining and characteristics specific to micro EDM compared to macro EDM techniques. The very concept of size effects in micro EDM is thoroughly defined and three categories of effects are presented: material microstructure, processing parameter and thermal conduction size effects. Future potential research directions on the subject are also summarized. We assert that careful research and precise attention must be given to size effects in micro EDM. Size effect information especially benefits the machining speed and machining precision of micro EDM.  相似文献

线切割中加工不良现象很多,高加工精度和效率是追求的最终目标,斜度加工是加工中的难点。本文针对加工精度不良现象,从工艺方案、加工材料、加工参数、电极丝、工作液和走丝系统6个方面进行了分析,从高速走丝和低速走丝2种不同机床对线切割速度不良进行了阐述,从机床、工件材质和电极丝3个方面的原因对斜度加工不良进行了研究。详细地介绍了产生这些不良现象的原因,并提出了有效的克服办法,以期对从事线切割加工领域的相关人员起到借鉴作用。  相似文献

在电火花加工中,影响因素较多,难以确定最优加工条件。应用模糊神经网络确定电火花加工条件是一种新的尝试,它可以充分发挥模糊逻辑和神经网络的长处。为方便操作者决定粗加工最优加工条件,并提高表面加工效果和粗加工速度,本文提出了一种基于模糊神经网络自动确定和优化电火花成形加工中加工参数的方法。经实践证明,用该方法所确定的最优加工条件,能保证较高的粗加工速度,方便了操作者对加工条件的确定。  相似文献
