利用光纤布拉格光栅(FBG)作为腔镜,研制了一种全光纤结构的掺Yb^2 光纤激光器。以泵浦波长978nm的LD作为抽运算,在1060.4nm波段获得了0.14nm的窄线宽激光输出。实验中发现掺Yb^3 光纤长度对激光器的阈值及输出功率均有影响,但光纤激光器的输出线宽保持不变。最大激光输出功率为2.36mW,斜率效率达到22.2%。 相似文献

双包层光纤激光器不再要求抽运光是单模激光,而且基本上在沿光纤整个长度上抽运,从而大幅度地提高了激光转换效率。给出了一种由半导体激光器(LD)抽运的掺Yb^3 双包层光纤激光器,利用976nm的抽运光,对双包层光纤进行端抽运,光纤后端与双色镜构成Fabry—Perot干涉仪兼作反馈腔镜,得到波长为1085nm,1090nm,1095nm和1100nm的激光输出.每个波长激光的线宽为0.33nm,输出总激光功率为1.2W,信噪比超过20dB,斜率效率为52%。 相似文献

报道了一种激光二极管(LD)双末端抽运Tm:YLF激光器,在1.9 μm处获得了连续波(CW)输出。1.9 μm激光可用于抽运Ho晶体获得2 μm激光。在理论上,分析了掺Tm3+激光器的运转机制和能量转换损耗,计算出Tm:YLF激光器在理论上的斜率效率达到50%。在实验上,抽运源使用工作波长为792 nm的光纤耦合激光二极管,抽运光均分为两束双端抽运Tm:YLF晶体,两块晶体串接在折叠腔内。Tm:YLF 晶体的掺杂原子数分数为4%, 尺寸为3 mm×3 mm×12 mm。测量了输出镜在不同透射率情况下激光器的输出激光波长,当输出镜透射率T=26%时,在1.9μm处获得20.1 W的连续波激光输出,相应的抽运功率为75 W,阈值抽运功率为9 W,斜率效率为34%,光-光转换效率为27%。 相似文献

The results from experiments relating to the CW operation of a Tm-Ho-doped silica fiber laser which is pumped with the fundamental output from a Nd:YAG laser are presented. The measured maximum output power from the fiber laser of 11 mW was generated at a slope efficiency of approximately 1.8% for a fiber length of 0.574 m and an output coupling of 10%. An output wavelength of 2170 nm (one of the longest lasing wavelengths to be achieved with the use of a silica host material) was also generated from the Tm-Ho-doped fiber laser when the fiber length was extended to 1.240 m and a 5% output coupling incorporated. The reduced efficiency and increased threshold for the Nd:YAG-pumped Tm-Ho-doped silica fiber laser when compared to previous reports of Ti:sapphire pumping is discussed in detail with the aid of a comprehensive numerical model. The numerical model solves the rate equations for the Tm-Ho-doped silica fiber laser system by taking into account the cross relaxation, energy transfer, and upconversion mechanisms, and it utilizes all published spectroscopic parameters relevant to Tm-Ho-doped silica and Tm-Ho:ZBLAN glass materials. It is established that the excited state absorption relevant to Nd:YAG pumping severely depletes the 3H4 energy level of Tm3+ and consequently hinders the energy transfer process to the 5I7 energy level of Ho3+. 报道了激光二极管(LD)双端面抽运Tm∶Ho∶GdVO4固体激光器,在2.049μm处获得连续(CW)和准连续(QCW)激光输出。激光二极管为光纤耦合输出,光纤芯径400μm,数值孔径0.22,输出波长805 nm。激光二极管额定输出功率27.7 W,均分为两束双端面抽运激光晶体。晶体尺寸为4 mm×4 mm×7 mm,Tm,Ho掺杂原子数分数分别为5%,0.5%。分析了Tm∶Ho能级系统的主要能级跃迁和能量转换损耗。为提高激光器的输出功率和转换效率,激光晶体采用液氮制冷。在重复频率5 kHz,10 kHz,20 kHz,调Q以及连续运行模式下,获得了9.4~10.1 W的激光输出,光-光转换效率为34%~36%。最大单脉冲能量为1.9 mJ,最大峰值功率为0.13 MW。讨论了抽运光功率和重复频率对激光脉宽的影响。 相似文献

A continuous wave (CW) tunable diode-pumped Er3+-doped fiber ring laser, pumped by diode laser at wavelengths around 1480 nm, is discussed. We demonstrated the ~2.8-μm and ~3.5-μm linearly polarized continuous wave (CW) laser outputs from a polarization-maintaining (PM) Er3+-doped fluoride fiber laser. By introducing a film polarizer into the cavity to select the laser polarization orientation, the ~2.8-μm linearly polarized CW laser with a high polarization extinction ratio (PER) of ~23 dB and maximum output power of 2.37 W was achieved under double-end pumping at 976 nm. By adding another 1981-nm pump source simultaneously, the ~3.5-μm linearly polarized CW laser was also obtained, giving higher PER of ~27 dB and maximum output power of 307 mW which is only limited by the available power of 1981-nm pump. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report on a mid-infrared linearly polarized CW PM fiber laser in the >2.5-μm mid-infrared region. This work not only opens up opportunities for some new mid-infrared applications, but also provides a promising platform for developing high-stability and versatile mid-infrared laser sources. 相似文献
