Computer team games have attracted many players in recent years. Most of them are rule‐based systems because they are simple and easy to implement. However, they usually cause a game agent to be inflexible, and it may repeat a failure. Some studies investigated the learning of a single game agent, and its learning capability has been improved. However, each agent in a team is independent and it does not cooperate with others in a multiplayer game. This article explores an evolution strategy for a computer team game based on Quake III Arena. The Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm will be applied to evolve a non‐player character (NPC) team in Quake III to be more efficient and intelligent. The evolution of a single NPC, which accommodates to its team and, moreover, the team has learning and cooperating abilities, will be discussed. An efficient team is composed of various members with their own specialties, and the leader is capable of evaluating the performance of a member and assigning it a proper job. Furthermore, the leader of an intelligent team will adapt a strategy appropriate for various circumstances and obtain the team's best performance. Instead of considering the tactic of an individual bot, this article takes the strategy of a team into account.  相似文献

In this paper we address the problem of building tools for improving the software engineering process by taking advantage of artificial intelligence techniques. More specifically, we provide a representation of the evolution of a software project by means of temporal logics. Such a representation is the basis for the construction of tools for the control and management of a software project. A system for Access and Version Control (SCAV) provides a suitable test bed for our approach. In the paper we present the formalization of the history of a software project developed under SCAV, and we show how several kinds of functionalities can be easily realized. The formalization is built within the framework of the event calculus in such a way that every step of the project development determined by the execution of a SCAV operation is described as an event in the calculus. We present an implementation of the system in PROLOG, which allows for a direct and natural formulation of the event calculus rules.  相似文献

E-science is about global collaboration in key areas of science such as cognitive science and brain science, and the next generation of infrastructure such as the Wisdom Web and Knowledge Grids. As a case study, we investigate human multiperception mechanism by cooperatively using various psychological experiments, physiological measurements, and data mining techniques for developing artificial systems which match human ability in specific aspects. In particular, we observe fMRI (functional magnetic resonance imaging) and EEG (electroencephalogram) brain activations from the viewpoint of peculiarity oriented mining and propose a way of peculiarity oriented mining for knowledge discovery in multiple human brain data. Based on such experience and needs, we concentrate on the architectural aspect of a brain-informatics portal from the perspective of the Wisdom Web and Knowledge Grids. We describe how to build a data-mining grid on the Wisdom Web for multiaspect human brain data analysis. The proposed methodology attempts to change the perspective of cognitive scientists from a single type of experimental data analysis toward a holistic view at a long-term, global field of vision.  相似文献

基于复杂工艺过程的时变、非线性、大滞后的系统,很难用一个确定的数学模型去描述整个过程。根据复杂工艺过程的特点,提出了神经网络(NN)和自适应遗传算法(AGA)相结合的方法去预估控制点位置,并用大量的输入和输出样本来训练和测试模型。仿真结果表明.该系统能提前30分钟准确地预估控制点的位置,为大系统控制奠定了必要的基础。  相似文献

Abstract

In 2006, Shieh et al. proposed an efficient remote mutual authentication and key agreement scheme which uses smart cards and requires only hash function operations. In this paper, we show that Shieh et al.'s scheme is vulnerable to guessing attacks, forgery attacks and key compromise attacks. To eliminate these weaknesses, an improvement of Shieh et al.'s scheme with increased security is proposed. The security and efficiency of the improved scheme raises the attractiveness for implementation.  相似文献

The map building problem is the most fundemental issue in intelligent mobile robot reasearch. Several map construction methods have been proposed, but most of them require a predefined path before the construction of an environment map. In this study, a novel concurrent path construction algorithm for map building problem in a completely unknown indoor environment is presented. In the concurrent path construction task, the main idea is based on a lookahead strategy that estimates the next location where the robot will go, using its latest state and range readings. A local map is derived from the readings of 2D range-finders and line segments constituting the local map are also used to update a global map. A significant feature of this study is that it does not reqire a predefined path for navigation to construct an environment map. Moreover, optimum sensor readings are aimed to decrease the data processing time needed for a complete map construction by reducing the number of range readings from the surroundings. Simulation results on widely used and custom indoor architectures demonstrate that the proposed approach generates highly efficient paths and global maps for all handled problem instances.  相似文献
