该文针对单径慢衰落信道模型下的相干DS-SS/MPSK系统,分析了频差对系统性能的影响,得到了误比特率的封闭表达式。首先推导了匹配滤波解扩符号的信噪比特性和相干相位估计误差的分布;然后给出了衰落信道中误比特率的精确积分式,并利用MPSK条件误符号率的麦克劳林级数形式,推导了AWGN,Nakagami-m衰落和瑞利衰落信道中BPSK,QPSK误比特率的简化逼近式。最后的数值结果表明:逼近式的精度非常高,基本没有损失,可应用于实际系统设计和性能评估。  相似文献

研究Nakagami衰落信道上组合发射机选择合并(SC)/接收机最大比合并(MRC)天线分集系统的性能.使用矩生成函数方法,推导采用组合SC/MRC天线分集和相干检测的MPSK(M进制相移键控)、MQAM(M进制正交幅度调制)、MPAM(M进制脉冲幅度调制)、BFSK(二进制频移键控)、最小相关BFSK(BFSKmin)、差分编码BPSK(DE-BPSK)和预编码MSK(最小频移键控)等几种M进制数字调制方式在Nakagami衰落信道上的误符号率性能,获得了M进制数字调制系统误符号率性能的精确数学表达式.数值计算结果阐明了发射天线和接收天线数目以及衰落参数对数字调制系统误符号率性能的影响.  相似文献

正交频分复用(OFDM)技术应用于无线图像传输可解决由于图像数据量大带来的传输效率问题,但系统子载波相位误差影响着OFDM图像传输质量.首先推导出一种相位误差存在时MPSK信号误符号率近似式,然后,利用该近似式对带有相位误差的MPSK调制OFDM图像传输系统的性能及图像接收质量进行了研究.结果表明,子载波相位误差会对OFDM系统性能产生显著的影响,且当MPSK相位误差增大至π/M(M为MPSK调制电平数)时,增加信噪比已无助于OFDM图像质量的改善  相似文献

分析了若干独立非负随机变量调和平均值的概率密度函数在零点附近的变化特性.在此基础上,分析了单载波分块传输系统中采用频域迫零均衡时的误符号率性能,给出了高信噪比时采用MPSK调制和MQAM调制时的误符号率的闭合表达式,并通过计算机仿真验证了理论分析结果.理论分析和数值仿真结果表明在瑞利衰落信道下,采用迫零均衡的SCBT系统在高信噪比时的平均误符号率与信道多径数目无关.  相似文献

We present new exponential bounds for the Gaussian Q function (one- and two-dimensional) and its inverse, and for M-ary phase-shift-keying (MPSK), M-ary differential phase-shift-keying (MDPSK) error probabilities over additive white Gaussian noise channels. More precisely, the new bounds are in the form of the sum of exponential functions that, in the limit, approach the exact value. Then, a quite accurate and simple approximate expression given by the sum of two exponential functions is reported. The results are applied to the general problem of evaluating the average error probability in fading channels. Some examples of applications are also presented for the computation of the pairwise error probability of space-time codes and the average error probability of MPSK and MDPSK in fading channels.  相似文献

This paper presents new forms for an error probability associated, with the phase angle between two vectors perturbed by Gaussian noise. An interesting consequence of the underlying generic form is a new expression for the symbol error rate in MDPSK that is very similar to its counterpart for MPSK. The generic error probability is further shown to contain as special cases MPSK, MDPSK, CPFSK, and digital FM; and to give a new expression for the Marcum Q-function. This article presents an extremely compact new formula for the symbol error probability in M-ary differential phase shift keying (MDPSK) that is extraordinarily similar to its counterpart for M-ary phase shift keying (MPSK). This result follows from a new form for a generic error probability associated with the phase angle between two vectors perturbed by Gaussian noise. The new form also leads to a new expression for the Marcum Q-function. As special cases, the generic error probability is noted to also contain MPSK, CPFSK, and digital FM. A closed-form formula for symbol-error rate (SER) of an orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) system with M-ary differential phase-shift keying (MDPSK) in frequency domain over Rayleigh fading channels is obtained. It is found that, by MDPSK in frequency domain, identical SERs can be achieved on all subcarriers. However, both time and frequency dispersion in the channel will introduce error floors. A comparison between OFDM-MDPSK in frequency domain and that in time domain reveals that the former system offers superior SER performance in a fast fading environment, while the latter performs better if the channel is mainly frequency selective. A coherent symbol-by-symbol (SBS) diversity receiver for m-ary phase-shift keying (MPSK) and differentially encoded MPSK (MDPSK) signals transmitted over a nonselective Rayleigh fading channel is presented. It incorporates a new adaptive filter for channel estimation that does not require any prior knowledge of the fading process model. It estimates the fading gains through decision-feedback and recursive least squares adaptation of the filter coefficients. A novel forgetting-factor adaptation algorithm that enables the filter to react quickly to randomly changing fading statistics caused by shadowing and acceleration/deceleration is introduced. Simulations show that the receiver performs better than that of Adachi's ( IEEE Trans. Veh. Technol. vol. 47 p. 909, 1998), either without shadowing or under slow lognormal shadowing.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Extensive literature exists for simple and exact expressions of symbol error rate (SER) over fading channels under different modulation schemes whose boundaries meet at right angles. In cases where boundaries do not meet at right angles, integrals of special function in the expressions make the exact calculation most complex. In such cases only approximate solutions are possible. Also, it is noteworthy to mention that when detection is performed with proper use of the phase (phase-jitter-based approach), noise performance of the receiver improves significantly. This paper applies phase-jitter PDF-based approach to present exact and closed-form SER expression of MPSK scheme over Mixture Gamma (MG) distribution for an arbitrary array of signal points. The proposed expression is generic as MG distribution can be approximated in almost all fading/shadowed fading channel models. As a proof to the authenticity, SERs of MPSK scheme over Rayleigh and Nakagami-m fading channels are deduced from the proposed SER over generalised MG distribution. Further, a significant improvement in SER has been achieved with phase-jitter-based approach as compared to conventional (non-phase-jitter-based) approach. Finally, to confirm the correctness of the proposed expression, results are validated through comparison with the existing results and Monte Carlo simulation.  相似文献

Closed-form solutions for the average error rate of MDPSK, coherent MPSK, and noncoherent MFSK over slow, flat, Rician fading are derived. The solutions are sufficiently simple so that no approximations are needed for the numerical computations and general enough so that it includes AWGN and Rayleigh fading as special cases. Error probabilities are graphically displayed for various values of M. The dependence of error rate on the channel specular-to-scatter ratio are plotted and examined. Performance comparisons for a range of values of the Rician parameter K, corresponding to the measured statistics of mobile and indoor wireless channels, are made for the different digital modulation schemes. The analytical results presented in this paper are expected to provide information that is important for radio systems design and the evaluation of performance over a fading channel  相似文献

The probability distribution of the phase angle between two vectors perturbed by correlated Gaussian noises is studied in detail. Definite integral expressions are derived for the distribution function, and its asymptotic behavior for large signal-to-noise is found for "small," "nearpi/2," and "large" angles. The results are applied to obtain new formulas for the symbol error rate in MDPSK, to calculate the distribution of instantaneous frequency, to study the error rate in digital FM with partial-bit integration in the postdetection filter, and to obtain a simplified expresion for the error rate in DPSK with a phase error in the reference signal. In the degenerate case in which one of the vectors is noise free, the results lead to the symbol error rate in MPSK.  相似文献
