This paper focuses on the adaptive stabilization problem for a class of high‐order nonlinear systems with time‐varying uncertainties and unknown time‐delays. Time‐varying uncertain parameters are compensated by combining a function gain with traditional adaptive technique, and unknown multiple time‐delays are manipulated by the delicate choice of an appropriate Lyapunov function. With the help of homogeneous domination idea and recursive design, a continuous adaptive state‐feedback controller is designed to guarantee that resulting closed‐loop systems are globally uniformly stable and original system states converge to zero. The effectiveness of the proposed control scheme is illustrated by the stabilization of delayed neural network systems. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A new adaptive learning control approach is proposed for a class of first‐order nonlinear systems with two unknown time‐varying parameters and an unknown time‐varying delay. By reconstructing the system equation, all unknown time‐varying terms, including the time‐varying delay, are combined into an unknown periodic time‐varying vector, which is estimated by a periodic adaptive mechanism. By constructing a Lyapunov–Krasovskii‐like composite energy function (CEF), we prove the boundedness of all signals and the convergence of the tracking error. The results are extended to two classes of high‐order nonlinear systems with mixed parameters. Three simulation examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the control algorithms proposed in this paper. This paper studies the exponential stability problems of discrete‐time and continuous‐time impulsive positive switched systems with mixed (discrete and distributed) time‐varying delays, respectively. By constructing novel copositive Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functionals and using the average dwell time technique, delay‐dependent sufficient conditions for the solvability of considered problems are given in terms of fairly simple linear matrix inequalities. Compared with the most existing results, by introducing an extra real vector, restrictive conditions on derivative of the time‐varying delays (less than 1) are relaxed, thus the obtained improved stability criteria can deal with a wider class of continuous‐time positive switched systems with time‐varying delays. Finally, two simple examples are provided to verify the validity of theoretical results.  相似文献

This article is concerned with networked controlled systems (NCS) with uncertain, varying, bounded transmission delays and asynchronous discrete-time static control laws. It is first shown that the delay variation gives rise to a discrete-time uncertain NCS model; robust stability analysis is carried out via a linear matrix inequality approach which, when combined with a directed parameter search, yields an estimate of robust stability bounds against any variations of the maximum allowable delay (constrained within one sampling period) that the closed-loop system can tolerate. The derived bounds are compared with other techniques relying on the singular values of the perturbed NCS-model. The presented simulation results prove the efficacy of the proposed control scheme.  相似文献

This paper deals with the problem of obtaining delay‐dependent stability conditions and L2‐gain analysis for a class of nonlinear time‐delay systems with norm‐bounded and possibly time‐varying uncertainties. No restrictions on the derivative of the time‐varying delay are imposed, though lower and upper bounds of the delay interval are assumed to be known. A Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional approach is proposed to derive novel delay‐dependent stability conditions which are expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). To reduce conservatism, the work exploits the idea of splitting the delay interval in multiple regions, so that specific conditions can be imposed to a unique functional in the different regions. This improves the computed bounds for certain delay‐dependent integral terms, providing less conservative LMI conditions. Examples are provided to demonstrate the reduced conservatism with respect to the available results in the literature. Copyright © 2010 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This paper proposes a method for robust state feedback controller design of networked control systems with interval time‐varying delay and nonlinearity. The key steps in the method are to construct an improved interval‐delay‐dependent Lyapunov functional and to introduce an extended Jessen's inequality. Neither free weighting nor model transformation is employed in the derivation of system stability criteria. It is shown that the maximum allowable bound on the nonlinearity could be computed through solving a constrained convex optimization problem; and the maximum allowable delay bound and the feedback gain of a memoryless controller could be derived by solving a set of linear matrix inequalities. Numerical examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. Copyright © 2007 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Bilateral teleoperation technology has caused wide attentions due to its applications in various remote operation systems. The communication delay becomes one of the main challenging issues in the teleoperation control design. Meanwhile, various nonlinearities, parameter variations, and modeling uncertainties existing in manipulator and environment dynamics need to be considered carefully in order to achieve good control performance. In this paper, a globally stable nonlinear adaptive robust control algorithm is developed for bilateral teleoperation systems to deal with these control issues. Namely, the unknown dynamical parameters of the environmental force are estimated online by the improved least square adaptation law. A novel communication structure is proposed where only the master position signal is transmitted to the slave side for the tracking design, and the online estimators of the environmental parameters are transmitted from the slave to the master to replace the traditional environmental force measurement. Because the estimated environmental parameters are not power signals, the passivity problem of the communication channel and the trade‐off limitation between the transparency performance and robust stability in traditional teleoperation control are essentially avoided. The nonlinear adaptive robust control is subsequently developed to deal with nonlinearities, unknown parameters, and modeling uncertainties of the master, slave, and environmental dynamics, so that the guaranteed transient and steady‐state transparency performance can be achieved. The experiments on two voice‐coil motor‐driven manipulators are carried out, and the comparative results verify that the proposed control algorithm achieves the excellent control performance and the guaranteed robust stability simultaneously under time delays. This paper deals with the local consensus of multiagent systems with nonlinear dynamics communication delays simultaneously. By introducing a weighted average state and applying the properties of the Laplacian matrix eigenvalues, the system is decoupled into several subsystems, firstly, to reduce complexity of theory analysis. Then, a new augmented vector containing single and double integral terms is constructed and the corresponding Lyapunov functional with triple integral terms is introduced. Meanwhile, in order to improve the estimating accuracy of the derivatives of constructed Lyapunov functional, single integral inequalities and double integral inequalities via auxiliary functions, an extended relaxed integral inequality and an reciprocally convex approach are used, as a result, stability criterion with less conservatism is derived, which guarantees the local consensus of the considered systems. Finally, numerical examples are provided to check the improvement of the proposed method over the existing works.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the problem of delay‐distribution–dependent robust exponential stability for uncertain stochastic systems with probabilistic time‐varying delays. Firstly, inspired by a class of networked systems with quantization and packet losses, we study the stabilization problem for a class of network‐based uncertain stochastic systems with probabilistic time‐varying delays. Secondly, an equivalent model of the resulting closed‐loop network‐based uncertain stochastic system is constructed. Different from the previous works, the proposed equivalent system model enables the controller design of the network‐based uncertain stochastic systems to enjoy the advantage of probability distribution characteristic of packet losses. Thirdly, by applying the Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functional approach and the stochastic stability theory, delay‐distribution–dependent robust exponential mean‐square stability criteria are derived, and the sufficient conditions for the design of the delay‐distribution–dependent controller are then proposed to guarantee the stability of the resulting system. Finally, a case study is given to show the effectiveness of the results derived. Moreover, the allowable upper bound of consecutive packet losses will be larger in the case that the probability distribution characteristic of packet losses is taken into consideration.  相似文献

This paper investigate the contour error control problem for networked multi‐axis motion system (NMAMS) with time‐varying delays. Firstly, the uncertainties induced by the delays are modeled as a part of the total disturbance, and a linear active disturbance rejection controller (LADRC) is designed for the uniaxial trajectory tracking control. In the LADRC, a linear extended state observer (LESO) is designed to estimate the system state and the total disturbance simultaneously, and the effect of the total disturbance is eliminated by the designed linear feedback error control law. Then, the classical contour error estimation method is adopted, and a fuzzy PID controller is designed to compensate the contour error to achieve a better contour tracking performance. Finally, experiments are provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

This paper studies the problem of stability analysis for continuous‐time systems with time‐varying delay. By developing a delay decomposition approach, the information of the delayed plant states can be taken into full consideration, and new delay‐dependent sufficient stability criteria are obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities. The merits of the proposed results lie in their less conservatism, which are realized by choosing different Lyapunov matrices in the decomposed integral intervals and estimating the upper bound of some cross term more exactly. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness and less conservatism of the proposed method. Copyright © 2009 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This paper proposes an improvement to the delay‐dependent stability of discrete systems with time‐varying delays. The approach is based on the observation that the positive definiteness of a chosen Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional does not necessarily require all the involved symmetric matrices to be positive definite, which has been overlooked in the literature. The derived delay‐dependent stability conditions are in terms of linear matrix inequalities. It is theoretically proved that our results are less conservative than the corresponding ones obtained by requiring the positive definiteness of all the symmetric matrices in a chosen Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional. The importance of the present approach is that a great number of delay‐dependent analysis and synthesis results obtained by the aforementioned requirement in the literature can be improved by the present approach without introducing any new decision variables. This paper investigates the approximate controllability of abstract stochastic impulsive systems with multiple time‐varying delays. The class of stochastic impulsive systems consists of ordinary differential equations effected by impulse and noise environment. We focus first on constructing the control function. With this control function, we present sufficient conditions for approximate controllability problems in Hilbert space. The results are then extended to more easily verified conditions. The methods we choose are mainly Nussbaum fixed point theorem and stochastic analysis techniques combined with a strongly continuous semigroup. Finally, an example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the results. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

We consider the global stabilization problem for a class of high‐order feedforward time‐delay nonlinear systems. The nested saturation function method is inherently improved to develop a continuous controller, without the requirements on the memory of the past input and the prior information of the time‐varying delays. The proposed controller is less conservative in terms of the level of nonlinearities whose upper bounds include high‐order, low‐order, and linear terms. The design procedures are provided based on the sign function technique, the homogeneous domination idea, and the search of Lyapunov function. Finally, a simulation example is used to demonstrate the application of the obtained theoretical results. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with the delay‐dependent stability and robust stability for uncertain systems with time‐varying delay. Through constructing an appropriate type of Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functional and proving its positive definiteness, using slack matrices and a convex combination condition, the delay‐dependent stability criteria, which are less conservative, are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Numerical examples are also given to illustrate the improvement on the conservatism of the delay bound over some existing results. Distributed parameter networked control systems mean distributed parameter systems are controlled through a network, where the control loops are closed. In this paper, the problem of guaranteed cost and state feedback controller design is investigated for a class of distributed parameter networked control systems. With the network factors, such as transmission delays, data packet dropouts considered, the distributed parameter networked control system is modeled as a linear closed‐loop system with time‐varying delay and uncertain parameters. By selecting an appropriate Lyapunov‐Krasovskii function and using linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach, the controller is designed to render the system stable and it can keep the cost function less than a certain upper value. In addition, numerical simulation is included to demonstrate the theoretical results.  相似文献

The stabilization problem is studied for networked control systems (NCSs) with time-varying delay that may be larger than one sampling period. By considering state feedback controllers, the closed-loop NCS is described as a switched delay system, which is then represented as an interconnected feedback system. A sufficient BIBO stability condition is derived for the closed-loop NCS by using the small gain theorem and the average dwell time technique. Design procedures for the BIBO stabilizing controllers are also presented. An example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.  相似文献

In this paper, a solution to the approximate tracking problem of sampled‐data systems with uncertain, time‐varying sampling intervals and delays is presented. Such time‐varying sampling intervals and delays can typically occur in the field of networked control systems. The uncertain, time‐varying sampling and network delays cause inexact feedforward, which induces a perturbation on the tracking error dynamics, for which a model is presented in this paper. Sufficient conditions for the input‐to‐state stability (ISS) of the tracking error dynamics with respect to this perturbation are given. Hereto, two analysis approaches are developed: a discrete‐time approach and an approach in terms of delay impulsive differential equations. These ISS results provide bounds on the steady‐state tracking error as a function of the plant properties, the control design and the network properties. Moreover, it is shown that feedforward preview can significantly improve the tracking performance and an online extremum seeking (nonlinear programming) algorithm is proposed to online estimate the optimal preview time. The results are illustrated on a mechanical motion control example showing the effectiveness of the proposed strategy and providing insight into the differences and commonalities between the two analysis approaches.
