Amazing English Rhetoric Using of College English Teaching——Taking Nettles as An Example

Understanding the use of English figures of speech has a role in promoting the comprehension of the meaning of English sentences.In college English teaching,it is necessary to pay attention to the use of several kinds of commonly used rhetorical devices among the teachers.Metaphor,personification,alliteration,climax and transferred epithet are often encoutered in the teaching of English figures of speech.Analysis of English rhetoric using can be better applied in practical teaching which can also improve students’reading ability,comprehension and appreciation ability if students have a good knowledge of English rhetoric using.     

独立学院大学公共英语结合专业发展教学改革与实践探索——以四川传媒学院新闻学专业为例

社会对英语人才的更高要求与中国独立学院非英语专业的大学公共英语教学注重传统的基础英语教学的矛盾越来越突出。基于ESP专门用途英语理论和实践,文章以独立学院四川传媒学院的新闻专业大学英语教学为例,探讨在独立学院将新闻专业与大学公共英语教学相结合,从而使学生的公共英语学习助推其专业的学习与发展,并提出了一些关键而具体的教学实践以及评价方法,以构建大学公共英语结合专业发展的教学模式。

On the Importance of Cultural Input in English Teaching

English as a foreign language has been a subject in middle school of China for years. Teachers and educators generation by generation have been trying to find an optimal method of teaching foreign language to help students master it better. After unceasing exploring, traditional teaching pattern has been improved and new teaching approaches appear such as Task-based language teaching and communicative language teaching. However, whatever teaching methods English teachers use in the class, they should not ignore the cultural input in English teaching. The successful and efficient English teaching should transform the single language teaching into the combination of language teaching and cultural teaching. The thesis is concerned with the significance of culture in English teaching. More specifically, some consideration will be given to the reasons and ways of teaching culture.

3D技术与三维建模在建筑类ECE教学实践中的应用

目前,最新信息技术的3D技术与三维建模已应用在课堂与实践辅助教学中。文章探讨了最新的信息技术与现有教学资源的选择、整合途径与原则,并以建筑英语课程教学与实践(English for Civil Engineer,ECE)为例,探索基于3D技术与三维建模的新教学模式。研究发现,新教学模式在有效教学、知识体系建构、技能与语言迁移、创新思维培养等方面有显著成效。     

土木工程专业卓越全英工程测量课程教学探讨

工程测量课程是土木工程专业必修的专业基础课程。通过分析"卓越全英计划"背景下工程测量课程教与学现状,从教材使用情况、课件制作、授课方式和全英课程考评方式等方面,探讨全英专业课程教学中的问题,研究不同教学改革措施,提出在教学中采用研究性全英教学模式、编制重要专业词汇中英文对照表、改进全英教学方法、加强平时教学管理、培养学生学习能力、邀请海外教学名师进课堂以及改革课程考评方式等创新实践教学方法和手段全面提高教学质量,以期培养更多的具有国际的视野土木工程技术人才。     

多元化教学模式在医学英语教学中的应用

【摘要】：目的 在医学教育改革中，北京协和医学院医学英语课程教学与其他医学学科教学部分整合，针对临床医学八年制学生这个特殊的群体，我们采用多元化的教学模式，为学生建立一个比较开放的医学英语学习平台，鼓励学生在学习基础和临床医学知识的实践中学习、应用和提高医学英语的听说读写和应对能力。该研究旨在实施这种多元化的教学模式并对其教学效果进行初步评估。方法 共73名学生参加了该课程的学习，该教学模式主要分为三部分：同伴主导的词汇学习、教师主导的临床/专家讲座和学生主导的以框架为基础的自学。评估系统也包括三部分：教师评估（含测试题评估）、同伴评估和学生匿名问卷调查评估。结果 词汇学习部分平均得分为16.61分（14~19，满分为20分），FBL自学展示记录各项得分为（3.86±0.33～4.45±0.28）分，满分为5分。结论 学生在该多元化教学模式中表现良好，匿名评估结果显示学生对这种教学模式反应较好，但同时也反馈出一些问题和建议，需要进一步调整和完善其中一些具体细节。     

城市规划应用型本科专业实践教学体系的优化研究

实践能力是城市规划应用型本科人才培养的核心要素,在整个教学体系中,实践教学各环节结构合理、体系优化是关键。文章探讨将实践教学各环节内容按照"基本素质"、"专业技能"、"综合应用"三个模块合理组织和建立"实践教学基地"教学平台的方式进行体系优化,实施开放性和适应性的实践教学活动。
