The paper concentrates on investigation results dealing with ultra high performance concrete (UHPC) dies for the use in sheet metal hydroforming. A special mixture of UHPC for these tools with its mechanical properties and its manufacturing is presented. The developed UHPC features a compressive strength of approx. 250 MPa and a Young’s modulus of approx. 50 GPa. Applying internal pressure, the UHPC die (without confinement or reinforcement) failed between 80 and 96 MPa. The forming test proved a good shape accuracy of the sheet metal parts but revealed critical tribological conditions. Drawing foil and already formed sheet metal parts were tested successfully as interlayer and led to an appropriate material flow and surface quality of the sheet metal parts.  相似文献

Hydroforming constitutes a subgroup of sheet metal forming processes utilizing a pressurized forming medium. Besides the hydroforming of hollow sections, the high-pressure forming (HPF) of metal sheets is demonstrably one innovative method for the production of complex sheet metal components and offers high potentials to improve the properties and qualities of sheet metal parts. This report describes investigations of a newly developed active-elastic blank holder technology, which is used for HPF of metal sheets. Unlike the use of semi-rigid blank holder systems, the active-elastic blank holder system shows improvements with respect to the material flow in the flange area and reduced sheet thinning in critical corner regions of the work-piece. In addition to numerical analysis concerning the development and design of the active-elastic blank holder, current experimental examinations will be presented. The focus is on a comparative evaluation of the simulation and production of rectangular metal parts, by using conventional semi-rigid tools and active-elastic tools.  相似文献

板料零件数控渐进成形工艺是一种通过数字控制设备 ,采用预先编制好的控制程序逐点成形板料零件的柔性加工工艺。本文就板料零件数控渐进成形工艺的成形过程、变形机理、极限半顶角等方面进行了探讨。认为 ,板料零件数控渐进成形是使板料的厚度减薄 ,表面积增大 ,靠逐次的变形累积产生整体的变形。变形区厚度的变化与成形半顶角有关 ,其中 ,成形极限半顶角是数控渐进成形能否成功的关键 ,它不仅与材料有关 ,而且与板料厚度有关。  相似文献

板料在冲压成形过程中常出现起皱现象,这是板料受压失稳的结果。论文提出一种新型的多点压板成形冲压技术,板料在冲压成形过程中,板料的上、下面受弹性压板力的约束,从而可以提升板料的失稳临界应力,减少板料的受压屈曲与起皱。同时研制一种可重构的杆系柔性成形模具,实施多点压板成形冲压工艺。试验表明,这种新型模具可以实施快速重构,同时可以有效地控制板料的起皱,特别适用于中小批量曲面板件的冲压成形加工。  相似文献

The finite element analysis (FEA) has become one of the most relevant and most important tools in fields of sheet metal forming for designing processes and dimensioning parts. However, reliability and quality of the numerical results strongly depend on the whole FE-model and especially on the modeling of the material behavior, which shows wide impact on calculated stresses and strains of sheet metal parts. Therefore, the experimental determination of characteristic material data concerning anisotropic and temperature-effects is essential. In this paper the influence of temperature on the yielding and the hardening behavior of the magnesium sheet metal alloy AZ31 are investigated for different uniaxial and biaxial stress conditions. For that purpose an experimental setup has been developed at the Chair of Manufacturing Technology (LFT) which enables biaxial tensile testing of sheet metal. Yield loci of AZ31 are determined as a function of temperature and they are based on solely measurement data of the forming process itself.  相似文献

板材局部体积成形技术,或称为板材热冲锻成形技术,为近年来提出的一种板材零件成形方法,其特点是板材冲压成形时不但完成板材零件形状的成形,还兼有局部结构的体积成形,例如局部凸柱、凸台、凸筋等结构的成形,适合于成形镁合金、铝合金等金属的成形,尤其适于替代一些电子器件外壳的铸造加工产品。文章介绍了板材热冲锻成形技术的原理、主要工艺控制参数,并对镁合金盒形件的热冲锻成形过程进行了实验研究和计算机模拟分析。针对带有螺丝柱的典型AZ31B镁合金方盒件,通过实验和有限元模拟,研究了其热冲锻成形工艺。实验表明,在再结晶温度以上冲锻2mm或3mm厚的镁合金板材有很好的成形能力,盒形件的周边和内部凸柱都能同时成形。研究结果表明,合理的模具结构、摩擦润滑条件和加热温度等参数,可以获得侧壁高度均匀、凸柱高度合适、无吸孔和凸柱断裂等缺陷的工件。  相似文献

Sheet metal parts often have to be connected by fasteners. Within conventional process chains for the production of sheet metal parts, fasteners like bolts are mostly welded individually after the forming process and outside the working tool. This spatial separation of production steps requires complex handling operations and has negative impact upon the positioning accuracy of the fasteners. Every executable manufacturing step inside the sheet metal working tool shortens the process chain significantly. Furthermore, using a combined process the precision of position and orientation of fasteners improves. The challenges of integrating the welding process into the sheet metal working tool are some appropriate feeding technique, handling the emissions and associated pollutions of the tool as well as creating a dependable monitoring-system for the welding-process. Within the scope of a research project, a reliable technology for the integration of capacitor discharge (CD) stud welding with tip ignition was developed and tested. It complements existing solutions for integrated resistance welding processes. Due to its high-speed capability, low insertion of energy and only needed one-sided accessibility, this technique is particularly suitable for the integration in sheet metal working tools. A newly developed exhaustion-system is installed and tested for the first time by the CD arc stud welding process. The new technology produced top quality welding results along with high process stability and robustness in long-term tests.  相似文献

The goal of the current study is to adapt a servo-motor driven multi-action press for forming of sheet metal parts under precise velocity control and variable blankholding force. The Engineering Research Center for Net Shape Manufacturing [ERC/NSM] has developed a computer controlled multi-action press with two independently driven punches for research in cold forming of complex parts, using physical modeling techniques. Recently, the same press was modified and upgraded for use in sheet metal forming. As a result of its special design and construction, this press is highly controllable and can perform a wide range of sheet metal forming processes. Tests were conducted in order to obtain the actual press characteristics. Axisymmetric deep drawing experiments were performed with 1100-O annealed aluminum material using all three actions of the press. In these preliminary experiments, the crucial role of blankholding force control on final product quality and drawability was established.  相似文献
