This article suggests the concept of a cyberphysical system to manage computer security of automated process control systems at hydropower engineering facilities. According to the authors, this system consists of a set of information processing tools and computer-controlled physical devices. Examples of cyber attacks on power engineering facilities are provided, and a strategy of improving cybersecurity of hydropower engineering systems is suggested. The architecture of the multilevel protection of the automated process control system (APCS) of power engineering facilities is given, including security systems, control systems, access control, encryption, secure virtual private network of subsystems for monitoring and analysis of security events. The distinctive aspect of the approach is consideration of interrelations and cyber threats, arising when SCADA is integrated with the unified enterprise information system.  相似文献

The occurrence of voltage sags and surges originating on the primary and secondary sides of industrial facilities can disrupt continuous and noncontinuous industrial computer processes, a costly issue for society. This paper attempts to answer several questions concerning the frequency and duration of voltage sags and surges posed by industrial customers. The answers to these questions are based on the national survey results of the frequency and duration of voltage sags and surges at industrial sites monitored at their utilization voltage levels (e.g. 120, 347 V) and on the utility primary side of their facilities. The survey results provide a knowledge base for monitoring, designing, and utilizing voltage sag and surge mitigating technologies  相似文献

The inspection of power supply facilities can now be conducted with high accuracy using remote monitoring technology. In contrast, it is difficult to install sensors at demand facilities because their scale and installation environment differ among customers. As a result, the demand facilities are inspected at fixed time intervals. In this paper, we propose condition‐based maintenance (CBM), which improves maintenance quality at demand facilities. The proposed method was developed using maintenance data from demand facilities, collected using time‐based maintenance, and we conduct the analysis primarily using failure data. We use data mining to analyze transaction data that we modeled on the basis of the maintenance data and to construct a “failure predictive model” that can predict the failure of facilities and its causes from the results of the analysis. By using the constructed model, we will be able to identify the objects requiring maintenance which may most likely lead to failures in the future, and this study can contribute to improvement of maintenance technologies for demand facilities using the proposed CBM.  相似文献

General Radio (GR) was founded in 1915 with the immediate purpose of manufacturing measuring equipment for use at radio frequencies (RFs). Some of their early standard capacitors found their way into experimental radio equipment built by Edwin H. Armstrong. After the World War I, much of the company's product line was driven by the new radio broadcasting phenomenon. For a short time, the company produced components for use in radio equipment, but, eventually, their main effort went back to producing radio test equipment. The company was first located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, at Massachusetts Avenue and Windsor Street. The Western Electric Corporate Education Center is a tangible manifestation of the company's long-term commitment to continuing education for its technical-professional, supervisory, and upper management employees. Educational programs which have evolved over a period of years now provide post-graduate schooling to accelerate the development of new employees, to maintain and expand the expertise of experienced employees, and to help supervisory employees cope with enlarged areas of responsibility. The three principal areas of study involved are engineering, computer science and information systems, and business management, with roughly equal emphasis in each of the three areas. Teaching load is shared about equally between experienced company employees, and local-area college faculty and specialized consultants. Matters of ensuring reliable and safe operation of power-generating equipment are briefly analyzed, and the main objectives thermal power engineering faces in this respect are formulated. The fundamental aspects that must be taken into account in extending the service life of the main heat-generating and mechanical equipment at thermal power stations are outlined. Selection of new advanced materials for the manufacture of equipment in retrofitting existing and constructing new power facilities is discussed. 电动汽车充电设施的合理规划对于电动汽车的推广具有重要作用。为此, 提出了一种基于分区充电需求系数的电动汽车充电设施选址定容方法。首先基于对各类电动汽车充电模式分析, 提出了电动汽车负荷预测模型。接着由各类电动汽车的日能量需求及日最大接入数量, 计算出各类电动汽车充电设施的需求数量。之后, 对所需研究的规划区域进行区块划分, 确定各区块的充电需求系数, 并选出充电需求较高的区块, 再根据所得到的候选布点区块及充电桩总数来确定每个区块的充电桩数量。最后, 以杭州市充电设施规划为例来说明所提方法的基本特征。  相似文献

The course in electrical engineering began in 1907, 83 years after the founding of the Institute. The adding of two new courses that year laid the foundation for the true polytechnic envisioned by the early leaders of the Institute. A large gift from the widow of Russell Sage provided the financial support for the expansion in facilities and programs. Operation of the heat load control system of the once-through boiler of a 300-MW power unit in maneuverable modes of its operation is considered. A new functional structure of the algorithm for controlling inertial thermal power facilities is proposed. The controlled plant model is identified from experimental data, and the stability of the closed-loop control system is estimated in the working range of load is estimated. The results of simulation and tests carried out on Unit 2 at the Tripol??e thermal power station have shown that better quality of control processes in response to external and internal disturbances is achieved through the use of a dynamic corrector.  相似文献
