This paper investigates the exponential observer design problem for one‐sided Lipschitz nonlinear systems. A unified framework for designing both full‐order and reduced‐order exponential state observers is proposed. The developed design approach requires neither scaling of the one‐sided Lipschitz constant nor the additional quadratically inner‐bounded condition. It is shown that the synthesis conditions established include some known existing results as special cases and can reduce the intrinsic conservatism. For design purposes, we also formulate the observer synthesis conditions in a tractable LMI form or a Riccati‐type inequality with equality constraints. Simulation results on a numerical example are given to illustrate the advantages and effectiveness of the proposed design scheme. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. 相似文献

This paper investigates the H∞ observer design problem for a class of nonlinear discrete‐time singular systems with time‐varying delays and disturbance inputs. The nonlinear systems can be rectangular and the nonlinearities satisfy the one‐sided Lipschitz condition and quadratically inner‐bounded condition, which are more general than the traditional Lipschitz condition. By appropriately dealing with these two conditions and applying several important inequalities, a linear matrix inequality–based approach for the nonlinear observer design is proposed. The resulting nonlinear H∞ observer guarantees asymptotic stability of the estimation error dynamics with a prescribed performance γ. The synthesis condition of H∞ observer design for nonlinear discrete‐time singular systems without time delays is also presented. The design is first addressed for one‐sided Lipschitz discrete‐time singular systems. Finally, two numerical examples are given to show the effectiveness of the present approach. 相似文献

针对一类具有分离变量的不确定非线性系统,讨论其鲁棒非脆弱H∞控制问题.假定所要设计的控制器存在状态反馈增益变化,设计方法是以线性矩阵不等式组的形式给出的.文中设计一个具有状态增益变化和时滞状态增益变化的非线性反馈控制器,并且保证闭环系统是鲁棒稳定的同时具有H∞扰动衰减度.仿真结果证明了结论的有效性. 相似文献

This paper is concerned with the problem of delay‐dependent passive analysis and control for stochastic interval systems with interval time‐varying delay. The system matrices are assumed to be uncertain within given intervals, and the time delay is a time‐varying continuous function belonging to a given range. By the transformation of the interval uncertainty into the norm‐bounded uncertainty, partitioning the delay into two segments of equal length, and constructing an appropriate Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional in each segment of the delay interval, delay‐dependent stochastic passive control criteria are proposed without ignoring any useful terms by considering the information of the lower bound and upper bound for the time delay. The main contribution of this paper is that a tighter upper bound of the stochastic differential of Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional is obtained via a newly‐proposed bounding condition. Based on the criteria obtained, a delay‐dependent passive controller is presented. The results are formulated in terms of linear matrix inequalities. Numerical examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the method. 相似文献

This paper deals with the simultaneous estimation of states and unknown inputs for a class of Lipschitz nonlinear systems using only the measured outputs. The system is assumed to have bounded uncertainties that appear on both the state and output matrices. The observer design problem is formulated as a set of linear constraints which can be easily solved using linear matrix inequalities (LMI) technique. An application based on manipulator arm actuated by a direct current (DC) motor is presented to evaluate the performance of the proposed observer. The robust stabilization problem for uncertain discrete singular time‐delay systems is addressed in this paper. In terms of strict linear matrix inequality and a finite sum inequality, a delay‐dependent criterion for the nominal systems to be admissible is obtained. Based on the criterion, a state feedback controller, which guarantees that, for all admissible uncertainties, the resulting closed‐loop system is regular, causal and stable, is constructed. An explicit expression for the desired controller is also given. The obtained results include both delay‐independent and delay‐dependent cases. This article presents a novel control strategy based on predictor‐feedback delay compensation for multiagent systems to reach a prescribed target formation under unknown but bounded communication delays and switching communication topology. Both communication delays and network topology can be subjected to arbitrarily‐fast time variations. The key idea is to implement predictor‐feedback strategies using only relative measurements between agents expressed in each local agent's frame, with the aim to counteract the negative effect of time delays. Nevertheless, due to the decentralized nature of the control, the presence of time‐varying delays and switching communication topology, only partial delay compensation is possible. Despite this, we show that better performance can be achieved with our proposal with respect to nonpredictor control schemes by introducing a weighting factor for predictor‐feedback terms in the control law. Sufficient conditions based on Linear Matrix Inequalities for robust stability are also provided, which allow to easily design the controller parameters in order to maximize the speed of convergence. Finally, simulation results are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed approach. 相似文献

This paper is concerned with delay‐dependent stability for linear systems with time‐varying delays. By decomposing the delay interval into multiple equidistant subintervals, on which different Lyapunov functionals are chosen, and new Lyapunov‐Krasvskii functionals are then constructed. Employing these new Lyapunov‐Krasvskii functionals, some new delay‐dependent stability criteria are established. This paper discusses the problems of the delay‐dependent robust stability and stabilization of uncertain neutral systems with time‐varying delays. Delay‐dependent stability criteria are derived by taking the relationships between the terms in the Leibniz‐Newton formula into account. Free‐weighting matrices are employed to express these relationships, and they are easy to obtain because the new criteria are based on linear matrix inequalities. Moreover, the stability criteria are extended to the design of a stabilizing state feedback controller. The problem of the stability of a linear system with an interval time‐varying delay is investigated. A new Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional that fully uses information about the lower bound of the time‐varying delay is constructed to derive new stability criteria. It is proved that the proposed Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional can lead to less conservative results than some existing ones. Based on the proposed Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, two stability conditions are developed using two different methods to estimate Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional's derivative. Two numerical examples are given to illustrate that the two stability conditions are complementary and yield a larger maximum upper bound of the time‐varying delay than some existing results. In this paper, a new method is proposed for stability analysis and synthesis of Takagi–Sugeno (T–S) fuzzy systems with time‐varying delay. Based on a new Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional (LKF), some less conservative delay‐dependent stability criteria are established. In the derivation process, some additional useful terms, ignored in previous methods, are considered and new free‐weighting matrices are introduced to estimate the upper bound of the derivative of LKF for T–S fuzzy systems with time‐varying delay. The proposed stability criterion and stabilization condition are represented in terms of linear matrix inequalities. A new discrete‐time adaptive global sliding mode control (SMC) scheme combined with a state observer is proposed for the robust stabilization of uncertain nonlinear systems with mismatched time delays and input nonlinearity. A state observer is developed to estimate the unmeasured system states. By using Lyapunov stability theorem and linear matrix inequality (LMI), the condition for the existence of quasi‐sliding mode is derived and the stability of the overall closed‐loop system is guaranteed. In this article, we address the problem of output stabilization for a class of nonlinear time‐delay systems. First, an observer is designed for estimating the state of nonlinear time‐delay systems by means of quasi‐one‐sided Lipschitz condition, which is less conservative than the one‐sided Lipschitz condition. Then, a state feedback controller is designed to stabilize the nonlinear systems in terms of weak quasi‐one‐sided Lipschitz condition. Furthermore, it is shown that the separation principle holds for stabilization of the systems based on the observer‐based controller. Under the quasi‐one‐sided Lipschitz condition, state observer and feedback controller can be designed separately even though the parameter (A,C) of nonlinear time‐delay systems is not detectable and parameter (A,B) is not stabilizable. Finally, a numerical example is provided to verify the efficiency of the main results. 相似文献

This paper deals with delay‐dependent H∞ control for discrete‐time systems with time‐varying delay. A new finite sum inequality is first established to derive a delay‐dependent condition, under which the resulting closed‐loop system via a state feedback is asymptotically stable with a prescribed H∞ noise attenuation level. Then, an iterative algorithm involving convex optimization is proposed to obtain a suboptimal H∞ controller.
