据中国橡胶工业协会轮胎分会42家轮胎企业资料统计,2008年1～9月每吨胶耗煤1.0311吨,比2007年同期的1.1046吨下降6.65%;每吨煤工业增加值达0.8943万元,比2007年同期的0.8650万元提高0.0293万元.     

Developments in weatherable copolyester sheeting

Until recently, polyesters and copolyesters were not able to be seriously considered for use in an outdoor environment owing to rapid coloration upon exposure coupled with rapid loss of impact properties. Recent work at Eastman has resulted in a coextrusion technology with a high level of UV absorber that has now circumvented both of these problems. A caution on the use of accelerated device exposures will be discussed. Outdoor exposures in Florida, Arizona, and other locations will be presented and compared to the accelerated device exposures and each other. Some of the potential uses of this new technology will also be discussed.

Uniformity of flow from sheeting dies

A numerical method for analyzing the uniformity of flow from sheeting dies is presented. The method assumes that the flow is isothermal and that the material is a power law fluid. A uniformity index is defined and methods are presented which enable die dimensions to be established which will result in a specified uniformity at particular flow rates and pressure drops. The analysis shows that the flow index “n” of the power law is the key parameter determining the uniformity of flow from a sheeting die.

聚丙烯酸酯压敏胶的研制及在反光膜中的应用

以丙烯酸异辛酯(EHA)和丙烯酸丁酯(BA)为软单体,甲基丙烯酸甲酯(MMA)为硬单体,丙烯酸(AA)和丙烯酸羟丙酯(HPA)为交联单体,过氧化苯甲酰(BPO)为引发剂,乙酸乙酯为溶剂,采用溶液聚合法制备了一种溶剂型聚丙烯酸酯压敏胶。考查了各单体用量对压敏胶综合性能的影响。结果表明,当软单体质量分数为85%、MMA质量分数为5%、AA质量分数为6%和HPA质量分数为4%时,PSA综合性能优异,可满足反光膜的使用要求。     

Upregulation of Phosphorylated HSP27, PRDX2, GRP75, GRP78 and GRP94 in Acquired Middle Ear Cholesteatoma Growth

Cholesteatoma is a destructive and expanding growth of keratinizing squamous epithelium in the middle ear or petrous apex. The molecular and cellular processes of the pathogenesis of acquired middle ear cholesteatoma have not been fully understood. In this study, comparative proteomic analysis was conducted to investigate the roles of specific proteins in the pathways regarding keratinocyte proliferation in cholesteatoma. The differential proteins were detected by comparing the two-dimension electrophoresis (2-DE) maps of the epithelial tissues of 12 attic cholesteatomas with those of retroauricular skins. There were 14 upregulated proteins in the epithelial tissues of cholesteatoma in comparison with retroauricular skin. The modulation of five crucial proteins, HSP27, PRDX2, GRP75, GRP78 and GRP94, was further determined by RT-PCR, Western blot and immunohistochemistry. Phosphorylation of HSP27 at Ser-82 was identified by mass spectroscopy. The results of this study suggested that phosphorylated HSP27 is the end expression of two potential signal-transduction pathways, and together with PRDX2, they are very likely involved in the proliferation of keratinocytes in cholesteatoma. Upregulations of GRP75, GRP78 and GRP94 in keratinocytes may be able to counter endoplasmic reticulum stress, to inhibit cell apoptosis, to prevent protein unfolding and to promote cholesteatoma growth.     

Continuous sheeting and packaging of pastry type and other fats

High speed production of sheeted roll-in pastry fats, margarine, and butter is featured in a general discussion. Methods of processing the fat products to be sheeted, including the use of scraped surface heat exchangers and continuous and vane type butter churns, are included. Various means of connecting the processing function to the sheeting and packaging equipment, including fully closed systems and open hopper systems, round out this discussion on provisions now available to set up fully continuous processes to handle products from liquid, emulsion, and churning cream stages to finished packages for industrial and consumer use.
