The electronic structure and chemical bonding of[Ce(CO_3)_3O_2]_2~(8-) have been studied by INDO(Intermediate Neglect of Differentiated Overlap)method in this paper.The results obtained show that theHOMO of[Ce(CO_3)_3O_2]_2~(8-) is mainly composed of the anti-bonding π orbitals of the pcroxide ion(O_2~(2-))and the LUMO is mainly composed of the 4f orbitals of the Ce(Ⅳ).The peroxide ion coordinates to ceric ionby means of σ and π dative bonds.After coordination the O-O bond of the peroxide ions is strengthened.Bycomparison with cerous complexes,the contribution of the 4f orbitals to bonding increases in the ceric com-plex. 相似文献

Complex of rare earth with carboxylic acid was prepared by precipitation and direct method. It was copolymerized with such monomers as acrylic acid and other ones to synthesize ionomer of rare earth and organic polymer with different rare earth contents. Its glass-transition temperature and heat stability were analyzed by TG and DTA. Infra-red detector was used to show its structure. The effect of rare earth complex prepared by different methods on copolymerization and properties of copolymers was also discussed. 相似文献

The crystalline precipitate of rare earth carbonates has been produced by the ammonium bicar-bonate precipitation method in the recovery of RE from the ammonium sulfate leaching liquor of the weath-ered leach-deposited rare earth ore.Various influencing factors such as time,temperature and reagent con-centration have been studied.And chemical analysis,XRD,SEM,IR spectrography,TGA and DTA havebeen used to analyze and examine the crystalline RE carbonates.Good results were obtained. 相似文献

Rare earth compounds can be used as PVC thermal stabilizers. According to the infrared spectra of the mixture of PVC and some stearates, the mechanism of stabilization of different stearates was studied. The specialty of rare earth stabilizers was found. They can change the conformation of PVC and restrain the elimination of HCI. From this aspect, the unique synergetic effect with other stabilizers of rare earth compounds can be explained. 相似文献

The effect of Y-base rare earth alloy in ultra-high hardfacing was observed by means of OM, SEM and XRD. Precipitated carbide can be metamorphosed and spheroidized in surfacing by adding Y-base rare earth alloy, which contributes to the increase of precipitated carbide. Rare earth combined with oxygen and sulfur can improve the morphology of slag inclusion as well as purify surfacing. A novel organic electroluminescent device was made with the structure of ITO/PVK:Tb0.5Eu0.5(TTA)3 Dipy/ BCP/Alq3/Al(a) which utilized the rare earth complex Tb0.5Eu0.5(TTA)3 Dipy as the emitting layer. When it was driven under a direct electric field, 612 nm emission from EU^3+ and 410 nm emission from PVK were observed. In addition, in the EL spectrum a new peak at 490 nm appeared. From the analysis of different devices, the mechanism of the new emission was studied.
