Dissolution kinetics of magnesitic-dolomite and magnesite-chrome refractories in secondary steelmaking slags was studied by means of the rotating cylinder method under forced convection. Materials investigated include four magnesitic-dolomite samples(MgO content 40% to 93%)and two magnesite-chrome samples (co-clinkered and semi-rebonded).Synthetic slags simulative of VOD and AOD slags with varying basicity (0.6-2.68) are used.The experiments are carried out in Ar atmosphere at different temperatures (1 600 ℃-1 750 ℃) and revolution speeds (200 r·min-1to 500 r·min-1).The microstructure of specimens (before and after slag tests) are studied by optical microscopy, SEM and EPMA. Based on our experimental results the mechanism and kinetics of the dissolution process are discussed.  相似文献

Light-weight magnesium -aluminate spinel materi- als were prepared by foaming-gel process with polyalumi- nium chloride (PAC) as gel. Effect of solid loading in initial slurry on microstructure, porosity, pore size distri- bution, thermal conductivity and mechanical properties was investigated. The results show that the bulk density of the light-weight magnesium -aluminate spinel mate- rials is in the range of O. 7 1.2 g cm-3 ; pore size distribution curves show single-peak characteristics and the mean pore size is in the range of 30. 83 - 61.37 μm ; with the increase of solid loading, the linear shrinkage of the green body during firing and the permanent change in dimensions on heating at l 600 ℃ for 3 h de- crease, but the bulk density increases, the mechanical properties increase obviously; the maximum compressive strength and bending strength reach 35. 25 MPa and 9. 92 MPa, respectively, while the bulk density is 1. 16 g · cm ; and the thermal conductivity at 1 000 ℃ tea- ches 0. 371 W · m-1 . K-1 while the bulk density is O. 7 -3 g · cm  相似文献

As one of the most mature aluminum sheet continuous strip-casting processes,Hazelett strip-casting has been successfully industrially applied.This work introduced the key refractory materials for Hazelett strip-casting process,including large-scaled Al_2O_3 ceramic foam filters,wide-feed head boxes,monolithic strip-stream nozzles,and coatings on twin-belt.Besides,the localization of the refractory materials was discussed.  相似文献

含铬耐火材料和废弃物燃料的环境问题,促进了水泥回转窑用碱性炉材的开发。由于氧化镁系炉材的耐热性和耐腐蚀性较高,一般用于过渡带。白云石系炉材的包覆性较好,多用于煅烧带。添加氧化锆及锆酸钙的尖晶石,其膨胀性低,有助于提高碱性耐火砖的抗冲击性和降低热传导率。镁尖晶石良好的微观组织不仅对改善耐腐蚀性是有效的,而且对包覆性也是很有效的。碱性炉材的发展依赖于合成原料,主要的研究课题就是降低原料的价格。  相似文献
