WWW是信息时代的重要标志。基于WWW的信息管理系统不仅要能运行在不同的平台上、分布的信息网络中,而且还能提供通用的平台与大量的、独立的、多类型的数据源和应用程序进行交互。开放知识服务体系OKSA就是为实现这一目标而提出的,在开放的Web资源环境中,建立动态的、跨平台的虚拟知识环境,使得人们能够获取、发布、共享和管理各种Web资源,并向用户提供按需的知识服务以支持协同工作、问题求解和决策支持等。  相似文献

1.引言万维网(World Wide Web)的出现使计算机拥有海量的信息资源,然而这些信息却很少以计算机可理解的结构存在,因为,万维网上的页面本来就是以人,而不是计算机为其阅读对象的。因此,复杂的文本结构、图像、声音等多种信息的存在,既把万维网变成一种丰富多采的媒体,又造成了计算机对万维网信息进一步处理的障碍。  相似文献

WWW是一个由成千上万个分布在世界各地的Web站点组成的全球信息系统,每个Web站点又是一个由许多Web页构成的信息(子)系统。由于一个文档作者可以通过超链把自己的文档与任意一个已知的Web页链接起来,而一个 Web站点上的信息资源又通常是由许多人共同提供的, 因此 Web站点内的超链链接通常是五花八门、各种各样的,它们可以有各种含义和用途。文章分析了WWW系统中超链的使用特征和规律,提出了一个划分超链类型、挖掘站点结构的方法,初步探讨了它在信息收集和查询等方面的应用。  相似文献

The Semantic Web has attracted significant attention during the last decade. On the one hand, many research groups have changed their focus towards Semantic Web research and research funding agencies particularly in Europe have explicitly mentioned Semantic Web in their calls for proposals. On the other hand, industry has also begun to watch developments with interest and a number of large companies have started to experiment with Semantic Web technologies to ascertain if these new technologies can be leveraged to add more value for their customers or internally within the company, while there are already several offers of vendors of Semantic Web solutions on the market. The essence of the Semantic Web is to structure Web-based information to make it more interoperable, machine-readable and thereafter to provide a means to relate various information concepts more easily and in a reusable way. The Semantic Web acts as an additional layer on the top of the Web, and is built around explicit representations of information concepts and their relationships such as ontologies and taxonomies. Furthermore, Semantic Web technologies are not only valuable on an open environment like the Web, but also in closed systems such as in industrial settings. Hence, these technologies can be efficiently deployed for domains including Web Services, Enterprise Application Integration, Knowledge Management and E-Commerce, fulfilling existing gaps in current applications. This paper focuses on this synthesis between Semantic Web technologies and systems problems within industrial applications. There will be a short review of Semantic Web standards, languages and technologies followed by a more detailed review of applications of Semantic Web computing in industry. The paper covers theoretical considerations as well as use cases and experience reports on the topic, and we also present some current challenges and opportunities in the domain.  相似文献

We propose a novel approach to facilitate the concurrent development of ontologies by different groups of experts. Our approach adapts Concurrent Versioning, a successful paradigm in software development, to allow several developers to make changes concurrently to an ontology. Conflict detection and resolution are based on novel techniques that take into account the structure and semantics of the ontology versions to be reconciled by using precisely-defined notions of structural and semantic differences between ontologies and by extending state-of-the-art ontology debugging and repair techniques. We also present ContentCVS, a system that implements our approach, and a preliminary empirical evaluation which suggests that our approach is both computationally feasible and useful in practice.  相似文献

We first present a typical example requiring services composition, give a definition of an automated services composition approach and outline its main requirements. We then discuss existing techniques and their limitations with regards to those requirements. 语义Web服务在进行服务发现时,需要按顺序依次匹配注册库中的服务,这将大量时间浪费在不相干的服务上,从而造成服务发现效率低下。针对该问题,提出了一种新的基于文本聚类和概念相似度的语义Web服务发现方法。该方法主要分为两个阶段,第一阶段根据服务源文件中的描述性文本信息将类别一致的服务聚类到一起,在此过程中利用了向量空间模型对文本进行表示和处理,并在前人的基础上提出了一种多重混合聚类算法MHC;第二阶段进行服务间的功能属性匹配,结合本体概念层次树中有向边的深度、强度以及概念的继承度等因素计算概念间的语义相似度。最后,实验结果表明,提出的方法在兼顾匹配准确率的基础上,大大提高了匹配效率。  相似文献

The Visual Semantic Web (ViSWeb) is a new paradigm for enhancing the current Semantic Web technology. Based on Object-Process Methodology (OPM), which enables modeling of systems in a single graphic and textual model, ViSWeb provides for representation of knowledge over the Web in a unified way that caters to human perceptions while also being machine processable. The advantages of the ViSWeb approach include equivalent graphic-text knowledge representation, visual navigability, semantic sentence interpretation, specification of system dynamics, and complexity management. Arguing against the claim that humans and machines need to look at different knowledge representation formats, the principles and basics of various graphic and textual knowledge representations are presented and examined as candidates for ViSWeb foundation. Since OPM is shown to be most adequate for the task, ViSWeb is developed as an OPM-based layer on top of XML/RDF/OWL to express knowledge visually and in natural language. Both the graphic and the textual representations are strictly equivalent. Being intuitive yet formal, they are not only understandable to humans but are also amenable to computer processing.
