在研究了目前广泛应用的P2P下载协议BitTorrent协议的基础上提出了一种可以替换BitTorrent下载内容的方法,并通过实验结果验证了其可行性。进而提出了关于BitTorrent协议本身以及所有通过BitTorrent协议下载的BT客户端的安全性问题,并且为监控和限制BT客户端通过BitTorrent协议共享盗版,甚至非法内容提供了可行的解决方案。  相似文献

嵌入式系统作为一种低功耗,微内核设备以及本身的硬件限制等各种特点,开发在一种具有下载功能的嵌入式设备很具有商业意义。传统的下载方式是节点和服务器之间交换信息,而P2P技术与传统的C/S方式有很大不同,它允许节点之间直接交换信息,很适合嵌入式系统之中。下本文通过对amule了进行移植,分析了交叉编译环境的搭建,嵌入式调试中的调试技术以及交叉编译过程中遇到的各种问题,成功实现了MIPS平台下的P2P文件共享技术,此外本文还用简洁的语言给出了一个完整的嵌入式开发流程。  相似文献

以BitTorrent为代表的对等网络文件下载时存在带宽吞噬的难题,如何实现可控传输是这类应用可持续发展的必要条件。本文基于电信新业务平台——媒体电信网对可控传输的需求,提出一种可控性对等网络文件下载算法,采用集中式目录服务器传输调度有效限制骨干网负载流量;同时利用基于对等技术的分布式传输,采用空闲终端和补偿服务器相结合的策略进行补偿传输,以保持不低于BitTorrent的下载速率。基于PDNS的数据包级大规模网络并行仿真结果证明了所提出算法的有效性,其综合性能优于BitTorrent算法。  相似文献

提出一个称为ShareStorm的P2P内容分发协议。相比于BitTorrent,ShareStorm显著降低了内容被分发的时间,使最终用户具有更好的下载体验,同时显著提高了内容被分发的效率,大幅度降低ISP运营商的运营成本,且ShareStorm允许ISP运营商动态调整指定区域的流量。  相似文献

以BitTorrent为代表的对等网络(P2P)应用已经成为最流行的网络信息共享工具,测量与分析对等网络的流量特性对于认识和提升该网络的性能具有重要的意义,如何准确地在Internet流量中识别出BT流量成为此研究的关键问题。在对BitTorrent的流量识别分析过程中,就基于应用层特征的流量识别方法进行了研究,并采用VC 工具在WinPcap网络工具包的基础上,实现了BT流量的测量系统,并根据实验结果验证了此系统的有效性。  相似文献

BitTorrent作为一种典型的实际P2P系统,在理论和实践中引起了广泛关注.给出一个有效的类BitTorrent系统分析模型一直是人们努力的一个方向.本文基于系统科学中的涌现概念,从微观到宏观来研究BitTorrent系统,给出了BitTorrent系统的微-宏观分析模型.首先从相对清晰的系统微观(结点)状态和行为入手,选取表征BitTorrent结点的参数,称为微观参数;根据BitTorrent的结点行为,基于这些微观参数,给出系统的微观行为描述;选取表征BitTorrent宏观态的变量,称为宏观变量;然后依据宏观变量与微观变量的关系,基于微观行为描述,建立系统的宏观演化方程;进而研究系统的宏观特性.实验表明该模型能够有效刻画BitTorrent系统的行为.  相似文献

以BitTorrent为代表的P2P应用流量已占据电信运营商网络流量的60%以上,由于BitTorrent客户端主要依据上传速度来选择传输节点,并不能检测到同一区域网络中存在具有相同数据的客户端,导致经常出现通过网间路由器的重复流量,降低了带宽的使用效率。提出通过设置透明的代理tracker服务器和设立分布式的peer缓存管理系统,使得将BitTorrent流量尽量控制在区域网络范围内,减少通过骨干路由的流量,同时使得BitTorrent客户端也能得到更快速的下载。  相似文献

A performance study of BitTorrent-like peer-to-peer systems   总被引:6,自引:0,他引:6  
This paper presents a performance study of BitTorrent-like P2P systems by modeling, based on extensive measurements and trace analysis. Existing studies on BitTorrent systems are single-torrent based and usually assume the process of request arrivals to a torrent is Poisson-like. However, in reality, most BitTorrent peers participate in multiple torrents and file popularity changes over time. Our study of representative BitTorrent traffic provides insights into the evolution of single-torrent systems and several new findings regarding the limitations of BitTorrent systems: (1) Due to the exponentially decreasing peer arrival rate in a torrent, the service availability of the corresponding file becomes poor quickly, and eventually it is hard to locate and download this file. (2) Client performance in the BitTorrent-like system is unstable, and fluctuates significantly with the changes of the number of online peers. (3) Existing systems could provide unfair services to peers, where a peer with a higher downloading speed tends to download more and upload less. Motivated by the analysis and modeling results, we have further proposed a graph based model to study interactions among multiple torrents. Our model quantitatively demonstrates that inter-torrent collaboration is much more effective than stimulating seeds to serve longer for addressing the service unavailability in BitTorrent systems. An architecture for inter-torrent collaboration under an exchange based instant incentive mechanism is also discussed and evaluated by simulations  相似文献

To address cross-ISP traffic problem caused by BitTorrent, we present our design and evaluation of a proximity-aware BitTorrent system. In our approach, clients generate global proximityaware information by using landmark clustering; the tracker uses this proximity to maintain all peers in an orderly way and hands back a biased subset consisting of the peers who are physically closest to the requestor. Our approach requires no co-operation between P2P users and their Internet infra structures, such as ISPs or CDNs, no constantly path monitoring or probing their neighbors. The simulation results show that our approach can not only reduce unnecessary cross- ISP traffic, but also allow downloadsing fast.  相似文献

测量分析P2P文件共享系统是解决P2P优化、网络管理等问题的基础。当前P2P网络设计日趋复杂,并且部分运行机制直接导致测量数据不完整或测量周期过长,比如BitTorrent文件共享系统。针对这一问题,本文抽象出BitTorrent系统的3个测量层次,包括索引测量、节点测量和内容测量,并重点解决了3个层次中的测量难题,设计实现了一个面向BitTorrent的测量系统。在此基础上,本文对BitTorrent系统进行了持续测量,并重点分析了BitTorrent系统的节点行为:节点演化规律和节点到达模型。测量结果表明,节点演化规律和节点到达均呈现强烈的周期性。为此,本文改进了节点到达模型,新模型与实际测量数据拟合效果较好,进一步修正了节点到达模型。  相似文献

Peer-to-peer (P2P) networking technology has gained popularity as an efficient mechanism for users to obtain free services without the need for centralized servers. Protecting these networks from intruders and attackers is a real challenge. One of the constant threats on P2P networks is the propagation of active worms. Recent events show that active worms can spread automatically and flood the Internet in a very short period of time. Therefore, P2P systems can be a potential vehicle for active worms to achieve fast worm propagation in the Internet. Nowadays, BitTorrent is becoming more and more popular, mainly due its fair load distribution mechanism. Unfortunately, BitTorrent is particularly vulnerable to topology aware active worms. In this paper we analyze the impact of a new worm propagation threat on BitTorrent. We identify the BitTorrent vulnerabilities it exploits, the characteristics that accelerate and decelerate its propagation, and develop a mathematical model of their propagation. We also provide numerical analysis results. This will help the design of efficient detection and containment systems.  相似文献
