基于总线桥协议的异构机群并行虚拟机的构造

产品变量结构及变量化配置管理的研究

语音电子邮件系统的设计与实现

Gröbner bases with coefficients in rings

This article gives a short introduction to the theory of Gröbner bases in a class of rings, which includes rings of differential operators and polynomial rings over commutative noetherian rings. A definition of reduced Gröbner bases for these rings is proposed.     

Closed-form solution for reliability of SCI-based multiprocessor systems using Weibull distribution and self-healing rings

This paper introduces a new closed-form solution for the reliability of large-scale multiprocessor systems. The systems are based on SCI rings interconnected in hierarchical structures. Reliability expressions using enumeration technique are derived assuming Weibull failure process. The reliability function derived in this paper is general and valid for any hierarchical ring-based system with arbitrary number of levels. The hierarchical interconnections are constructed from self-healing rings and basic rings. The analysis shows the improvement achieved in reliability when self-healing rings are used. Although we used hierarchical systems based on SCI rings, the technique followed in this work is applied for any type of rings such as slotted or token rings.     

Simulation of chain length recognition observed in formation of inclusion complex

We carried out Brownian dynamics simulations to investigate the mechanism of chain length recognition observed in the formation of inclusion complexes (ICs) between cyclodextrins (CDs) and polymer chains. In our simulations, we used rings and chains as models to represent CDs and polymer chains, respectively. We used two types of chains with different lengths to determine which chain was preferred by the rings to form ICs. At low concentration of rings, we observed that almost all the rings formed ICs with the long chains. Chain length recognition could be reproduced in our simulation, and it occurred because of the difference in the inclusion time between the long chains and the short chains in the ICs. On the other hand, at high concentration of rings, the number of rings forming ICs with the long chains increased, and pseudo-polyrotaxanes (PPRXs) were formed. ICs were also formed with the short chains, because the inclusion time for each ring contained in the PPRXs reduced with an increase in the number of rings therein, and then, the dissociated rings formed ICs with the short chains. As a result, chain length recognition was not observed. From these results, we conclude that the difference in the inclusion time between the rings and the chains controls chain length recognition.     

Boosting performance of multidimensional tores

This paper suggests a speed boosting technique for system area networks in massive parallel multiprocessor computers by decreasing the diameter and increasing the throughput of a pair of opposite simplex rings (a duplex ring), a couple and quadruple of such rings. The result is achieved through replacing a duplex ring with a pair of minimal switched multidimensional rings with different steps in each ring. The decreased diameter and increased throughput of rings appreciably reduce packet delivery delays in system area networks based on the pairs of such rings.     

Strong feedback cyclization for systems over rings

For nonnecessarily reachable systems over a commutative ring R, we define a strong form of feedback cyclization (FC). With this natural generalization of the FC property we obtain a feedback reduced form for systems over strong FC rings (i.e. rings for which every system verifies the FC property). In the particular case of reachable single input systems, this gives the usual control canonical form of Bumby et al. [Remarks on the pole-shifting problem over rings, J. Pure Appl. Algebra 20 (1981) 113–127]. Also it is proved that a commutative ring with 1 in its stable range has the strong FC property if and only if it has the UCU property, which is the natural parallel form of the result given by Brewer et al. [Pole assignability in polynomial rings, power series rings and Prüfer domains, J. Algebra 106 (1987) 265–286] for the reachable case. Many classes of rings which were known to be FC rings are in fact strong FC rings, but there are FC rings which are not strong FC rings.     

Accurate numerical simulations of vortex flows II: Interaction of swirling vortex rings

An accurate numerical method is applied to the investigation of the flow generated by two co-rotating vortex rings with axial flow in opposite direction at the Reynolds number Re = 2000. The rings are shown to generate a strong wake with significant axial vorticity due to the stretching induced by the rings. The rings merge and form a single ring with complex internal structure.     

Fuzzy isomorphism theorems of soft rings

The concepts of fuzzy ideals of soft rings are introduced. The first, second and third fuzzy isomorphism theorems of soft rings are established respectively. In particular, some classes of quotient rings are characterized by their fuzzy ideals.

研究了波分复用全光树环网在不同通信模型下的波长分配算法及其最坏性能分析.对于静态模型,证明了5L/2是树环网所需波长数的紧界.对于动态模型,提出了一种近似比为∑_i=1^hmax_r∈Ri[log|V(r)|]+h的波长分配算法,其中h为树环网的基树的层数,R_i为树环网中处于第i层的环的集合,|V(r)|为环r上的节点数.对于增量模型,提出了一种近似度为O[log₂(t+1)]的波长分配算法,其中t为树环网中的环数.     

Strategies for Computing Minimal Free Resolutions

In the present paper we study algorithms based on the theory of Gröbner bases for computing free resolutions of modules over polynomial rings. We propose a technique which consists in the application of special selection strategies to the Schreyer algorithm. The resulting algorithm is efficient and, in the graded case, allows a straightforward minimalization algorithm. These techniques generalize to factor rings, skew commutative rings, and some non-commutative rings. Finally, the proposed approach is compared with other algorithms by means of an implementation developed in the new system Macaulay2.
