The synthesis, characterization, structural elucidation, and application of the dispersant (NSC) obtained from condensation of β-naphthalene sulphonic acid and formaldehyde are described. The one pot process from naphthalene, sulphuric acid, and formaldehyde leads to reproducible condensate products with n = 13 and 14 naphthalene nuclei. The 1H and 13C NMR spectra were recorded in D2O (representative spherical shape) and DMSO (representative rod-like shape). Bleaching leads to the recovery of excellent super pure material. 相似文献

Abstract Among the primary products of anthracene pyrolysis at 1213 K are the six isomeric bianthryls, which we have analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography with diode-array detection (HPLC/DAD), ultraviolet spectroscopy, and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). When separated by reverse-phase HPLC or GC, the isomers elute in the order A,B,C,D,E,F, and only the elution orders of isomers C and D are reversed in normal-phase HPLC. Analysis of our product mixture after spiking with a 9,9″-bianthryl reference standard shows that A is 9,9″-bianthryl. The distinctive ultraviolet spectrum of 2,2″-bianthryl, the only isomer whose anthracene moieties are coplanar, confirms the identity of F as this bianthryl. Theoretical and experimental information in the literature on the effect of substituents on anthracene's ultraviolet absorption spectrum provides valuable guidance in interpreting the ultraviolet spectra of the bianthryls. Certain features of these spectra, combined with the principles governing chromatographic elution order, lead to the identification of the remaining bianthryls as: B, 1,9″-bianthryl; C, 2,9″-bianthryl; D, 1,1″-bianthryl; and E, 1,2″-bianthryl. 相似文献

Three new biflavonoids, wikstaiwanones A-C (1-3), along with four known compounds (4-7) were isolated from the stems of Wikstroemia taiwanensis (Thymelaeaceae). Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic analysis. Compounds 4 and 5 showed antitubercular activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis with MIC values of 15 μg/mL, respectively. 相似文献

The content of triacylglycerols (TAG) in krill oil is generally omitted from the labels of commercial supplements and unacknowledged in studies aimed at proving its health benefits. The present study demonstrates that TAG compounds, in addition to phospholipids and lysophospholipids, are an important lipid class in pure krill oil. The fatty acid composition of TAG molecules from krill oil and their distribution on the backbone of TAG structures were determined by gas chromatography and liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometric, respectively. The content of omega 3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (n-3 PUFA) was similar to those reported in the literature for fish oil. It was estimated that 21 % of n-3 PUFA were at the sn-2 position of TAG structures. Matrix effects in real-time aerosol mass spectrometry (RTAMS) were investigated using Standard Reference Materials (SRMs) obtained from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Suppression of major component ions by much less concentrated species was observed. Attempts were made to mimic the ion suppression using binary systems but were unsuccessful. Data are presented that suggest the origin of the matrix effect is charge transfer induced neutralization in the ablation plume. 相似文献
