We discuss several device architectures leading to high-efficiency organic electrophosphorescent (EP) light emission. An external electroluminescence efficiency (ηext) of (10.0 ± 0.5) % was realized by doping fac-tris(2-phenylpyridine)iridium (Ir(ppy) 3) into a 2,9-dimethyl-4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenenthroline (BCP) electron transport layer. Direct exciton formation on the phosphor dopant avoids exciplex formation at the interface of unipolar hole and electron transport layers. Further, triplet exciton and carrier dynamics in a double heterostructure were investigated to determine the location and width of the exciton formation zone. High-efficiency EP is also demonstrated in a simplified two layer architecture using a 4,4'-N, N'-dicarbazole-biphenyl (CBP) ambipolar carrier transport host  相似文献

We present a Monte Carlo simulation of two implementations of Quantum Cellular Automaton (QCA) circuits: one based on simple ground state relaxation and the other on the clocked cell scheme that has recently been proposed by Tóth and Lent. We focus on the time-dependent behavior of two basic circuits, a binary wire and a majority voting gate, and assess their maximum operating speed and temperature requirements for different sets of fabrication parameters.  相似文献

The goal of diagnostic programs is the achievement of high availability of a controlled machine or process. The software architecture of the programmable controller can have a significant impact on the degree to which that goal can be attained. Software architecture directly affects the ease with which the controller can be programmed to provide anticipatory diagnostics, fault detection, and fault diagnosis; the degree to which such diagnostic features can be clearly specified and documented; and the effectiveness with which diagnostic information can be presented to operators, supervisors, and maintenance personnel. Assuming adequate self-diagnostic features in the programmable controller, the most important contribution to high availability to be made by the controller's software architecture is the ease with which the diagnosis can be directly related to the operation of the machine or process and its sensors or actuators, rather than to the operation of the controller. Various software features are described which contribute to this ``visibility' of machine or process faults. Directions are indicated for future evolution of software architectures for machine and process diagnostics.  相似文献

Abstract—In the recent years, there has been a growing interest in the concept of microgrids to integrate distributed generation systems and to provide higher reliability for critical loads. Several microgrid demonstration projects have been implemented to investigate further and advance this emerging concept. This article provides a detailed review of microgrid systems. It describes different architectures, including AC, DC, and hybrid systems. Various microgrid components, including sources, converters, and loads, are illustrated. Microgrid management and controls are discussed, and a modified natural droop control is described in detail. Both physical layers and standard protocols are explained for communication in the microgrid structure. The unique protection complexities have been raised and discussed in the presence of distributed generations and bidirectional power flow. A demonstration of a military microgrid system at Fort Sill is illustrated, and the experiment of a typical microgrid operation scenario is provided.  相似文献

无源直流断路器常用于高压直流输电工程换流站直流场上。为了研究高压直流断路器振荡回路特性,以寻求最佳的参数配置,分析了L、C参数对直流开断的影响,给出了工程中开断电流的计算公式、额定连续过负荷直流电流的取值方法以及直流断路器组成元件的主要应力,并结合实际直流工程数据加以仿真验证,定性给出的直流断路器主要参数随L、C参数变化的规律。  相似文献

针对混合式直流断路器电力电子器件依靠燃弧电压导通,极易出现过压过流等问题,提出了一种新型限流式直流断路器拓扑,设计了其固态开关的均压均流电路,并对其进行建模分析。所提出的拓扑在断路器正常运行时无额外损耗,在短路故障发生时可以无延时地导通固态开关,并快速切断短路电流,其均压均流电路在不影响故障切除的同时能有效均衡各电力电子器件的电压电流。最后对所提拓扑在PSCAD/EMTDC软件平台上进行建模仿真,结果表明提出的新型限流式直流断路器能够在短路故障发生时有效限制短路电流上升,快速切断故障,并可靠地保护固态开关。  相似文献
