废钢市场先扬后抑终趋稳定

新年伊始，钢铁市场便出现开门红，一方面进入月初，厂家资金压力略有缓解，在资源紧俏情况下，冬储意愿明显增强；另一方面房产行业作为钢铁消费大户，在年末出现翘尾现象，销量创下年内新高，这无疑会大幅提振钢铁市场，废钢受此联动，出现一波上扬，但1月中下旬，下游需求开始萎缩，钢厂亦逐渐完成冬储计划，对废钢采购开始缓和，部分小厂甚至压价采购，废钢整体开始稳中下沉，因春节日益临近，市场货源流通趋少，所以下沉幅度不大，随着商家不断离市，市场成交日渐趋少，料年前基本平稳运行，行情波动有限。

镍基高温合金晶界区稀土元素与杂质交互作用的电子理论研究

利用重合位置点阵模型（CSL）构造Ni∑5[100]／（210）大角度晶界模型。用Recursion方法计算了B，C，La，Y，Sc，P，S在晶界的环境敏感镶嵌能和B，C，La，Y，Sc在自由表面和晶界的隔离能。计算结果表明：B，C，La，Y，Sc具有较低环境敏感镶嵌能，趋于替代其它杂质，优先占据晶界位置，起到净化晶界的作用。B，C，La，Y，Sc在晶界的隔离能比自由表面低，说明它们更有利于偏聚在晶界而非表面，为韧性杂质。

力学分析在挤压模具调整方面的应用

所有的挤压缺陷，如开口，收口，波浪，弯曲，扭拧，平面间隙超标，塞模，表面撕裂等，均可以找到力学方面的形成原因，通过受力分析与分析料头，模具结构，找到使之变形的力或力矩，然后施加反向作用的力或力矩，最终使模具出料正常。

溴化碲分光光度法应用于钛铝合金中微量碲的测定，取得了良好的效果。干扰试验表明，在所选定条件下，Ｚｎ，Ｍｎ，Ｍｇ，Ｐｂ，Ｍｏ，Ａｓ，Ｙ，Ｓｎ，Ｎｂ，Ｓｂ，Ｐ，Ｃｏ，Ｎｉ，Ｃａ，Ｓｉ，Ｃｄ，Ｂｉ，Ｃｅ，Ｚｒ，Ｗ，Ｖ各１ｍｇ，Ｃｕ，Ｃｒ各０．１ｍｇＦｅ为０．２ｍｇ，对１００μｇＴｅ的测定基本无干扰，ＴｉＡｌ基体的轻微干扰可以用同量的ＴｉＡｌ作参比而消除。分别对含Ｔｅ０．１００％和０．０２０％的两组合成试     

深井阳极地床的设计与施工

强制电流法阴极保护是埋在钢质管道防止腐蚀的有效方法，特别是在大口径，长距离等道施工中，得到普遍应用。强制电流法阴极保护的阳极地床是该方法的主体工程，一般采用浅埋阳极地床，但随着管道工业的飞速发展，长距离，大口径输气，输油，输水管道日益增多，如、西气东输”全长4100km输气管道正在兴建，途中的众多的管段要穿越江，河，湖，渠，管道深入地下，因此浅埋阳极地床已不能满足工程需要，必须采用深井阳极地床，才能取得优良的技术效果，本文对深井位置的选择，钻井方法，阳极组的安装，井底，井口的处理，阳极电缆敷设等工程设计和施工进行介绍。

Mathematical Transforms in Design: Case Study on Feedback Control of a Customizable Automotive Suspension

Engineering design and analysis is replete with examples of mathematical transforms. This paper discusses the use of mathematical transforms at the operational stage implemented by superimposing the system with a control system to (1) convert a decoupled or coupled system to uncoupled, (2) achieve robustness to noise factors and (3) eliminate imaginary complexity. This paper proves with examples that such controller design and implementation is much easier for an uncoupled or decoupled design as compared to a coupled design. The case study presents a new customizable automotive suspension with independent control of stiffness, damping and ride-height. This system was proposed, designed and built using axiomatic design principles. The mechanical design is decoupled with respect to the functional requirements (FRs) of stiffness and ride-height; moreover ride-height is affected by the load on the vehicle (noise factor). This paper presents the design and implementation of a feedback control system for the customizable suspension to uncouple the system and to make it robust to the noise factor.     

A three-step approach to designing a metal-forming process

This paper presents a hierarchical design and analysis approach for the design of metal-forming processes. The methodology entails a three-step design process comprising conceptual design, preliminary design, and final design. The conceptual design stage is based on methodologies such as axiomatic design and is followed by a preliminary design that is accomplished through simplified forming models and design confirmation using more accurate finite-element methods. This methodology provides a scientific approach to design and analysis and considerably reduces the time and effort necessary to achieve a workable solution.

Design optimization using Statistical Confidence Boundaries of response surfaces: Application to robust design of a biomedical implant

This paper deals with the use of Statistical Confidence Boundaries (SCB) of response surfaces in robust design optimization. An empirical model is therefore selected to describe a real design constraint function. This constraint is thus approximated by a second order polynomial expansion which is fitted to numerical simulations that use a Finite Element Method (FEM). A technique is also proposed to analyze the effects of the uncertainties of the inputs of the simulations. This approach is employed to optimize the design of a biomedical wrist implant. A real optimized implant is then manufactured and tested to validate the numerical model.     

Axiomatic functional and object-oriented product design framework

This paper describes an axiomatic functional and object-oriented design framework for co-design and co-analysis of product functions, physical structures, and their mapping relations. This design framework consists of function model, object model, information flow model, and axiomatic design model. These models are constructed level-by-level and side-by-side to form a concurrent and coordinated design paradigm. The components of the resulting design are reviewed by the design team, summarized in a task assignment table, and allocated to respective disciplinary engineers for detail design. This methodology enables mechanical, electronic, and software engineers to collaborate and develop mechatronic products in a concurrent and integrated fashion.

A robust design approach to determination of tolerances of mechanical products

Tolerance specifications of design parameters influence both functional performance and manufacturing cost of products. Product functional performance is usually affected by uncertainties of design parameters, robust design can make product functional performance insensitive to those uncertainties. Based on the robust design method and the cost-tolerance models, a mathematical model has been developed for describing the relationships among functional performance, manufacturing costs, design parameters and tolerances. A new robust optimization method has also been developed to determine tolerances and design parameters simultaneously. This new approach has been used for determining design parameters and tolerances of a coating head of printing machinery.
