北汽福田公司在引入三维CAD软件后,已初步具备了实施逆向工程的能力。但一般三维CAD软件虽然在汽车车身结构设计方面的功能很强,但在曲面光顺方面却比较繁琐,因此,曲面光顺一直成为制约车身开发进度的重要因素。为了进一步加快车身的开发速度,使逆向工程深入实施,北汽福田公司引入了PTC公司的CDRS工业造型软件,经过两次人员培训及两次应用示范工程后,在微卡前面罩上成功应用,并解决了CDRS与现有三维CAD软件之间的接口问题,实现了数据的可靠传递,形成了新的逆向工程开发流程,使设计效率及质量得到了很大的提高。一、 原… 相似文献

In industry, some parts are prone to failures or their design is simply sub-optimal. In those critical situations, one would
like to be able to make changes to the part, making it lighter or improving its mechanical resistance. The problem of as-built
parts is that the original computer-aided design (CAD) model is not available or is lost. To optimize them, a reverse engineering
process is necessary to capture the shape and topology of the original design. This paper describes how to capture the original
design geometry using a semi-automated reverse engineering process based on measurement provided by an optical 3D sensor.
Following this reverse engineering process, a Fixed Grid Finite Element method and evolutionary algorithms are used to find
the optimum shape that will minimize stress and weight. Several examples of industrial parts are presented. These examples
show the advantages and disadvantages of the proposed method in an industrial scenario.

An overview is given of Korean VLSI and CAD technology, which did not develop naturally as it did in more advanced countries. Korean engineers had no electronic systems developed domestically for studying bipolar and MOS IC design. Consequently, they had to apply reverse engineering to the problem, which slowed development considerably. In 1982, the Korean government initiated the national project specifically to speed the progress of electronic technology development. Since then, VLSI design and CAD technology have begun to spread throughout the country. This paper presents a case study on the reverse engineering of turbine blades used in nuclear power generators. Reverse engineering has been widely recognised as a crucial step in the product design cycle. However, major problems with current reverse engineering technology are the inefficient surface reconstruction process, lack of digitising accuracy control in the data digitisation process, and bottlenecks resulted from huge amounts of digitised surface points in the surface modeling process. Moreover, under this limitation, modern concurrent engineering concepts are difficult to implement to obtain optimal product design. This study applies a developed reverse engineering approach – the modified adaptive model-based digitizing process (MAMDP) to the 3D geometric design of turbine blades. The approach integrates surface digitising and modeling processes of turbine blades into a single surface reconstruction process. Using the approach, accurate product CAD models can be efficiently generated and the product design cycle of turbine blades can be successfully linked. 相似文献

This article presents a method of reverse engineering applied to the particular case of a cam in order to recover the form and dimensions of the design of the original piece, which take into account: design intent, general knowledge of the problem, different geometric and dimensional restrictions, and the digitized point cloud. Rather than by employing complex mathematical algorithms, a fit is achieved by drawing a parametric outline that complies with the design intent, and by adjusting the different parameters through successive approximations using commercial CAD software commands. 相似文献
