We developed the EPMA mapping method of small -AlFeSi(Al8.3Fe2Si) and -AlFeSi(Al8.9Fe2Si2) particles in the billets of Al-Mg-Si alloys such as AA6063 alloys. To discriminate between -AlFeSi and -AlFeSi particles we used the relative X-ray intensities of Fe/Si ratio, the I Fe/I Si ratio, instead of the Fe/Si mass ratio. To obtain the I Fe/I Si ratio, we used a Monte Carlo method. In this study, using this method the mapping of -AlFeSi and -AlFeSi particles in the surface layer of AA6063 billets after the heat treatment (for 2 h at 580°C) was done. Namely, the distribution of -AlFeSi and -AlFeSi particles of zones from the billet surface to a depth of 800 m was measured. Results showed the zone from the surface to a depth of 200 m was occupied mainly by -AlFeSi particles and the zone from a depth of 200 m toward the center was occupied mainly by -AlFeSi particles. From these results, it was found that if we remove zones from the surface to a depth of 200 m, we can remove the majority of the -AlFeSi particles, and thus improve the quality of anodizing performance of Al-Mg-Si alloys extrusions.  相似文献

Samples of nanocrystalline Ni-20%Fe permalloy, obtained by electrodeposition, were studied using an X-ray diffraction technique and magnetic force microscopy. After deposition, the alloy exhibited strong fiber texture with the major component being 1 0 0 and a lesser contribution from 1 1 1. An increase in deposition current density led to a reduction in the strength of the 1 0 0 texture. Despite the small magnitude of the magnetic interaction, images of magnetic domains were obtained using magnetic force microscopy. The images were, however, unstable and changed significantly with the scanning time. Annealing of the permalloy above 573 K caused rapid grain growth and a transformation of the 1 0 0 fiber to 1 1 1 fiber. Numerical analysis of the texture data was conducted to assess the atomic structure of grain boundaries in the as-deposited and annealed states.  相似文献

Changes in the phase content, microstructure and lattice parameter are observed in stabilized/ alumina specimens following extended sintering and annealing treatments. The resulting state is dependent on composition of the starting powder and on temperature and duration of heat treatment; the kinetics of transformation between and alumina are generally slow and certain/ ceramics remain in a metastable state even after a prolonged high temperature anneal. Following post-sinter heat treatment, splitting of X-ray diffraction peaks reveals a segregation of the phase into two components of differing lattice parameter. With sintering schedules of a long duration the splitting may even be present in the as-fired condition as recently reported by Harbach [1]. The splitting is attributed to a structural change resulting from the expulsion of Na2O from supersaturated grains.  相似文献

The crystal structure of film samples of "high-level" (based on 238Pu) and low-level (based on 239Pu) metallic plutonium during their prolonged (up to 343 days) storage (self-irradiation) at room temperature was studied by X-ray diffraction. In the samples of high-level plutonium, the -Pu and -Pu lattices coexist. In the period of 40-60 days, the other known crystal modifications of plutonium (-Pu, -Pu, -Pu, and -Pu) are also present. Low-level plutonium had only the -Pu lattice. A possible origin of this phenomenon is discussed.  相似文献

We have studied the magnetic state from a viewpoint of crystallographic features of the 1-D chain compound Ca0.824CuO2. A possible spin-hole arrangement in the magnetically coexisting state was determined by analyzing the local structural distortion in the CuO2 chain by means of a modulated-crystal-structure analysis. The essential periodic sequence expected is (: up- and down-spin, : hole), which can be regarded as a kind of spin-1/2 ferromagnetic-antiferromagnetic alternating Heisenberg chain.  相似文献

The precipitate structure and matrix deformation were examined in a commercial Cu-11.55 at %-Be-0.23 at %-Co alloy by quantitative X-ray diffraction techniques. A model is proposed that is consistent with early electron microscopy results by Bonfield and Edwards [J. Mater. Sci. 9 (1974) 398] and recent advances by Khachaturyan and Laughlin [Acta Metall. Mater. 38 (1990) 1823]. Agreement was found for a precipitate model consisting of highly deformed versions of the equilibrium -phase. This is in accord with earlier results for and precipitates and is further generalized to include the GP zone for this alloy. Two states of deformation are required, i.e. one relatable to and the GP zone, with a second relatable to a continuous deformation which describes the rotation of the precipitate. The matrix becomes and remains severely deformed prior to and through the hardness maximum. Bragg-like matrix peaks become partitioned into three components: quasilines, static diffuse scattering and a residual Bragg peak. The so-called arrowhead scattering should be re-examined as a generalized form of Laue scattering, which includes a difference between the square of the scattering amplitudes for the precipitate and the matrix that it replaces.  相似文献

A laminar premixed flame model is considered in which there is a second-order branching reaction coupled with an endothermic decay of a chemical inhibitor. An analysis, based on high activation energies for the reactions, is performed and two distinct cases are found. These depend on dimensionless parameters representing the loss of heat relative to its production, , and the consumption of inhibitor relative to that of fuel, . With 1, extinction is achieved through a saddle-node bifurcation at a critical value of . For , no extinction is found though considerable reductions in wave speed over the adiabatic limit are seen. The asymptotic results are compared with numerical simulations of an initial-value problem for the model.  相似文献

We propose a 1-t1-2 pulse-NMR experiment to detect the spin-diffusion anisotropy, =D-D, in degenerate spin-polarized3He-4He mixtures, where D and dare the transverse and longitudinal spin diffusion coefficients. In such an experiment the nonlinearity of the dynamics produces multiple spin echoes (MSE). At the 3He concentration x3 4% the spinrotation parameter vanishes (M 0), so that the nonlinearity of the equations of motion is entirely due to the anisotropy. In this situation, detection of MSE amounts to observation of D. For slight anisotropy, i.e. D/D 0.25, we use a perturbation scheme similiar to that developed by Einzel et al. (in that case, for small M and small demagnetizing field) to calculate the second and third echo heights. For larger anisotropy we numerically calculate the echo heights. We find that for D/D = 0.5 the heights are 2 % of the first echo, and should be detectable. The (1, 2) tip-angle dependence of the D echoes is different from that of the M and demagnetization echoes, and furthermore, they occur at right angles to these echoes (in spin space). Thus, even when small spin-rotation and demagnetization effects are present, the 1-t1-2 experiment provides a sensitive means of detecting the anisotropy.  相似文献

We studied the influence of the lubricant compositions Grafitol with 10% graphite (1), Aerol containing 17% MoS2 (2), Limol containing 60% MoS2 (3), Limol + 10% chlorine-paraffin (4), and Limol + 10% copper powder (5) on the wear rate and formation of the fine structure of surface friction layers of structural steels. We established a correlation between the tribological characteristics of steels and lubricants. The abrasive wear of 40KhFA steel was minimum if it was lubricated with Limol + 10% copper powder. In this case, its wear was smaller by a factor of 10, 2, 1.25, and 7.25 as compared with lubricant compositions 1–4, respectively. In the course of minimum wear of 40KhFA steel, in the surface friction layers, we observed the minimum values of second-kind distortions (a/a) and of the true size of domains of X-ray coherent scattering (D) as well as the minimum difference between the crystal lattice constants (a) of steel before and after friction.  相似文献

The constitution of the Ni-Al-Ru system has been investigated in the range 0 to 50 at% Al. Isothermal sections at 1523 and 1273 K have been determined using microstructural observations, electron probe microanalysis and X-ray diffraction. The phases present were: nickel-based solid solution (); (based on Ni3Al); solid solutions based on NiAl and RuAl, respectively (designated 1 and 2), and ruthenium-based solid solution (Ru). The maximum solubility of Ru in was 5 at%. 1, and 2 show extensive range of solubilities, namely up to 20at% Ru in 1 and up to 25 to 35 at% Ni in 2. Three-phase equilibrium between , 2 and (Ru) existed at 1523 and 1273 K. Also at 1523 K, three-phase equilibria existed between , and 1 and ,1 and 2, while at 1273 K, the equilibria were between , 1,2 and , , 2 indicating the occurrence of a reaction +1, +2 at a temperature between 1523 and 1273 K. Liquidus features have been deduced from data on as-solidified structures. Lattice parameter data and hardnesses are also reported.  相似文献

A specific processing of EBSD data is proposed to study the texture inheritance of titanium or zirconium alloys. A non standard misorientation map is calculated to localise the colonies inherited from the same parent grain. The calculation of the parent orientation from its inherited variants detailed in previous works has been adapted to the data obtained from an automated EBSD analysis. Finally, a method to derive the orientation map of the parent phase from that of the inherited phase is proposed. The resulting and COMs are used to study some aspects of the variant selection occurring in the transformation of a T40 sample.  相似文献

Ageing characteristics of an extruded eutectoid Zn-Al based alloy were investigated using X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy techniques. The extruded alloy consisted of Al rich phase and Zn rich E and phases. The original cast eutectoid Zn-Al alloy was extruded at 250 °C. Both supersaturated s and s phase decomposed during extrusion and appeared as fine and coarse lamellar structures. The E and phases particles formed in the original interdendritic region. It was found that two Zn rich phases E and decomposed sequentially during ageing at 170, 140 °C. The decomposition of the E phase occurred as a discontinuous precipitation in the early stage of ageing and the decomposition of the phase took place in a four phase transformation: + T + in the prolonged ageing. Two typical morphologies of the decomposition of the Zn rich phases E and were distinctive in back-scattered scanning electron microscopy.  相似文献

Batches of up to 46g of the insensitive explosive 1,3,5-triamino-2,4,6-trinitrobenzene (TATB) have been recrystallized from DMSO in an effort to prepare larger particle-size material for recycling previously-used TATB and also for use in special formulations. The first part of the study investigated the conditions required to shift the particle-size distribution maximum from 50–70 m to several hundred micrometres in diameter. Distributions peaking at 200–246 m were successfully produced by varying the cooldown rate and degree of agitation during cooling. The second part of the study emphasized regeneration of the standard 50–70 m distribution from submicron size (ultrafine TATB) particles. The distributions peaking at 76–88 m, 27–31 m, and 15–17 m, successfully bracketed the target particle sizes, were grown by changing the degree of solution saturation. The choice of saturation temperature for the TATB/DMSO solution was based on earlier small-scale recrystallization and solubility work.  相似文献

The dynamic viscosity of the binary mixture 1-methylnaphthalene+2,2,4,4,6,8,8-heptamethylnonane was measured in the temperature range 293.15 to 353.15K (in progressive 10K steps) at pressures of 0.1, 20, 40, 60, 80, and 100MPa. The composition of the system is described by nine molar fractions (0 to 1 in 0.125 progressive steps). The density was measured at pressures from 0.1 to 60MPa in progressive 5 MPa steps. The measurements of are used to determine the excess viscosity E and the excess activation energy of flow G E as a function of pressure, temperature, and composition. An analog circuit is used to investigate the behavior of the transition to chaos in the rf-driven Josephson junction under the variation of excitation amplitude and frequency with McCumber parameter >1. A series of transitions is observed, including a hysteretic jump, symmetry breaking, period doubling, and intermittency prior to chaos, and the transition boundaries are given in a state diagram in the vs. parameter space. Thus, the sequence of transitions to chaos can be inferred from this diagram. Based on these results, the harmonic balance method and Floquet theory are applied to study the instability of the transition series. It is suggested that all these transitions to chaos can be explained as parametric excitations. In addition, the transition boundaries in the state diagram can be satisfactorily computed from the conditions with a Floquet multiplier =±1.  相似文献

Flux motion in anisotropic type-II superconductors near Hc 2 is studied in the framework of the time-dependent Ginzburg-Landau (TDGL) theory for the case that the average flux densityB is oriented in an arbitrary direction relative to the principal axes of the sample. The linearized TDGL equation for a uniformly translating order parameter is solved and expressions for all elements of the flux-flow resistivity tensor ij (including the off-diagonal Hall elements) are obtained. The diagonal elements ii show the angular scaling property that ii(B) = ii(B/Hc 2(, ø)), whereas the Hall elements ij (i j) have additional angular dependences that are not contained in Hc2. For the case that the normal state Hall elements ij (n) B k with i j k, the ratios ij/ ij (n) are functions of B/Hc2 (, ) only.  相似文献
