For high rate k/n convolutional codes (k/n > 0.5), a trellis based implementation of a posteriori probability (APP) decoders is less complex on the dual code trellis owing to its branch complexity (2n-k ) being lower than the code trellis (2k). The log scheme used for APP decoders is not attractive for practical implementation owing to heavy quantisation requirements. As an alternative, presented is an arc hyperbolic tangent (AHT) scheme for implementing the dual- APP decoder. The trellis based implementation of this AHT dual APP decoder is discussed and some fundamental differences between primal APP and dual APP decoders that have an effect on a quantised implementation are reported. 相似文献

为了进一步降低低密度奇偶校验(LDPC)码译码算法的复杂度,基于经典置信传播(BP)译码算法,给出了对数域迭代后验概率对数似然比(APP LLR)算法。通过概率域的和积算法(SPA)和对数域的迭代APP LLR算法的性能仿真及分析可见,迭代APP LLR算法能以较小的性能损失换取复杂度的大幅降低。进一步选用迭代APP LLR算法,结合不同地形条件下的VHF频段信道模型,仿真了LDPC码编译码系统的性能。理论分析及仿真结果均表明,基于迭代APP LLR算法的LDPC码,实现简单,性能优异,具有良好的工程应用前景。 相似文献

由于盗版Android应用(Android Application,简称APP)通常保持着与正版APP相似的用户体验,因此本文提出一种基于资源签名的APP相似性快速检测方法.该方法将APP的资源签名视为字符串集合,利用计算任意一对APP资源签名集合的Jaccard系数判断两者的相似性.为了避免遍历全部的APP对,该方法将MinHash和LSH(Locality Sensitive Hashing)算法的思路引入其中,通过从APP集合中挑选候选对并对候选对进行检验的方式获得最终的检测结果.由于挑选候选对的方式将大量相似性较低的APP对排除在外,因此该方法可以明显地提高APP相似性的检测速度.实验结果表明,该方法的检测速度比现有方法FSquaDRA提高了大约30倍,而检测结果与FSquaDRA几乎完全相同. 相似文献

The letter proposes an adaptive p-persistent-based (APP) medium access control (MAC) scheme for the IEEE 802.11e distributed WLAN supporting multimedia services. The APP MAC scheme adaptively gives differentiated permission probabilities to transmission stations which are in different access category and with various waiting delay. Iterative joint source-channel decoding of variable-length codes using residual source redundancy 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
We present a novel symbol-based soft-input a posteriori probability (APP) decoder for packetized variable-length encoded source indexes transmitted over wireless channels where the residual redundancy after source encoding is exploited for error protection. In combination with a mean-square or maximum APP estimation of the reconstructed source data, the whole decoding process is close to optimal. Furthermore, solutions for the proposed APP decoder with reduced complexity are discussed and compared to the near-optimal solution. When, in addition, channel codes are employed for protecting the variable-length encoded data, an iterative source-channel decoder can be obtained in the same way as for serially concatenated codes, where the proposed APP source decoder then represents one of the two constituent decoders. The simulation results show that this iterative decoding technique leads to substantial error protection for variable-length encoded correlated source signals, especially, when they are transmitted over highly corrupted channels. 相似文献

Turbo codes are applied to magnetic recoding channels by treating the channel as a rate-one convolutional code that requires a soft a posteriori probability (APP) detector for channel inputs. The complexity of conventional APP detectors, such as the BCJR algorithm or the soft-output Viterbi algorithm (SOVA), grows exponentially with the channel memory length. This paper derives a new APP module for binary intersymbol interference (ISI) channels based on minimum mean squared error (MMSE) decision-aided equalization (DAE), whose complexity grows linearly with the channel memory length, and it shows that the MMSE DAE is also optimal by the maximum a posteriori probability (MAP) criterion. The performance of the DAE is analyzed, and an implementable turbo-DAE structure is proposed. The reduction of channel APP detection complexity reaches 95% for a five-tap ISI channel when the DAE is applied. Simulations performed on partial response channels show close to optimum performance for this turbo-DAE structure. Error propagation of the DAE is also studied, and two fixed-delay solutions are proposed based on combining the DAE with the BCJR algorithm 相似文献

Considering high-order digital modulation schemes, the bottleneck in consumer products is the detector rather than the modulator. The complexity of the optimal a posteriori probability (APP) detector increases exponentially with respect to the number of modulated bits per data symbol. Thus, it is necessary to develop low-complexity detection algorithms with an APP-like performance, especially when performing iterative detection, for example in conjunction with bit interleaved coded modulation. We show that a special case of superposition modulation, dubbed Direct Superposition Modulation (DSM), is particularly suitable for complexity reduction at the receiver side. As opposed to square QAM, DSM achieves capacity without active signal shaping. The main contribution is a low-cost detection algorithm for DSM, which enables iterative detection by taking a priori information into account. This algorithm exploits the approximate piecewise linear behavior of the soft outputs of an APP detector over the entire range of detector input values. A theoretical analysis and simulation results demonstrate that at least max-log APP performance can be reached, while the complexity is significantly reduced compared to classical APP detection. 相似文献
