Photostimulated emission (PSE) of epitaxial GaN layers is readily obtained at photoexcitation densities of order MW cm−2 at temperatures up to room temperature. We report surprising spectral differences between PSE obtained using surface and edge emission geometries for a particular sample. While the peak energy of PSE from the surface of this sample is downshifted from the GaN band edge by only a small amount, the photon energy of the edge-emitted light is reduced by 100 meV. Exactly the same downshift is observed in the edge emission spectrum of a commercial Nichia light emitting diode. The origin of the anomalous PSE peaks revealed in these measurements is discussed with reference to recent literature. 相似文献

Most aircraft fleets nowadays are operating under the concept of damage tolerance, which requires an aircraft to have sufficient
residual strength in the presence of damage in one of its principal structural elements (PSE) during the interval of service
inspections. The residual strength however is significantly reduced due to multi site damage (MSD). In the present paper,
a probabilistic framework for the computation of the failure probability is developed. The MSD problem of a PSE is considered,
where the uncertainties in crack initiation and crack growth as well as yield stress and fracture toughness are described
by random variables. For the crack growth calculations the finite element alternating method [1], which avoids a remeshing
of the finite element problem, is used. After specifying link up and failure criteria, importance sampling is employed to
obtain the probability of failure of the PSE due to MSD.

Smart production systems (SPS) are manufacturing systems capable of autonomously diagnosing their health and autonomously designing continuous improvement projects, leading to the desired productivity improvement. The main component of SPS, developed in this paper, is the Programmable Manufacturing Advisor (PMA), which evaluates the system's health and calculates optimal steps for continuous improvement. The analytics of PMA are based on the theory of Production Systems Engineering (PSE); the numerics of PMA are based on PSE Toolbox, which implements the PSE methods. In this paper, the PMA-based SPS architecture with manager-in-the-loop is described, theoretical/analytical foundations of PMA are outlined, its software/hardware implementations are commented upon, and demonstrations of PMA-based SPS operation are provided using two production systems: automotive underbody assembly (large volume manufacturing) and hot-dip galvanisation plant (small manufacturing organisation). 相似文献

The effect of various versions of quenching and partitioning (Q&P) and austempering plus tempering (A&T) processes on the combined properties and microstructure of a 0.2C–0.8Si–2.2Mn bainitic steel has been investigated. Results show that the steel exhibits a higher value of product of strength and elongation (PSE) than that reported before with similar compositions. The one-step Q&P process at 230°C and A&T process at 450°C can result in a toughness higher than 80?J?cm?2 and a relatively high PSE (above 29.8?GPa%). The alloy design of this steel is suggested to be beneficial for industrial production because there is a big window for similar PSE. The long-partitioning time (1?h) has good effect on combined properties. 相似文献

We introduce a novel approach in highly selective and sensitive fluorescence derivatization of polyamines. This method is based on an intramolecular excimer-forming fluorescence derivatization with a pyrene reagent, 4-(1-pyrene)butyric acid N-hydroxysuccinimide ester (PSE), followed by reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Polyamines, having two to four amino moieties in a molecule, were converted to the corresponding dipyrene- to tetrapyrene-labeled derivatives by reaction (100 degrees C, 20 min) with PSE. The derivatives afforded intramolecular excimer fluorescence (450-520 nm), which can clearly be discriminated from the monomer (normal) fluorescence (360-420 nm) emitted from PSE, its hydrolysate and monopyrene-labeled derivatives of monoamines. The structures of the derivatives were confirmed by HPLC with mass spectrometry, and the emission of excimer fluorescence could be proved by spectrofluorometry and time-resolved fluorometry. The PSE derivatives of four polyamines [putrescine (Put), cadaverine (Cad), spermidine (Spd), and spermine (Spm)] could be separated by reversed-phase HPLC on a C8 column with linear gradient elution. The detection limits (signal-to-noise ratio of 3) for the polyamines were 1 (Put), 1 (Cad), 5 (Spd), and 8 (Spm) fmol on the column. Furthermore, the present method was so selective that biogenic monoamines gave no peak in the chromatogram. 相似文献

AbstractA new simple, precise, rapid, and selective reversed-phase ion pair high-performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC) method has been developed for the simultaneous determination of pseudoephidrine (PSE) and terfanidine (TER) from tablets using 60:15:25 acetontrile:methanol:water (v/v) containing 2.9 g sodium lauryl sulfate/liter, pH adjusted to 3.1 using phosphoric acid as a mobile phase and C18 Spherisorb ODS 2 (3 µm, 5 cm × 4.6 mm i.d.) as stationary phase. Detection was carried out using a UV detector at 254 nm. A constant flow of 1.0 ml/min was maintained throughout the analysis. Retention times for PSE and TER were 1.90 and 7.35 min, respectively. Linearity range and percentage recoveries for PSE and TER were 24–1200 and 12–600 µg/ml, and 100.01 and 100.4%, respectively. 相似文献

Calcipotriol and betamethasone dipropionate are widely used effective treatments for psoriasis. Combined therapy is known to be superior to monotherapy, but current formulations do not permit simultaneous application as the drug substances will degrade when mixed. The purpose of the study was to develop a formulation which combines calcipotriol and betamethasone dipropionate in a single vehicle hereby achieving optimal delivery of both substances into the skin. As the two substances are incompatible in aqueous and alcoholic medias, different non-aqueous formulations were prepared. Skin permeation studies were investigated using Franz-type diffusion cells. Formulations based on isopropyl myristate were found to decrease the permeation rate (25-35%) as compared with marketed monotherapy products (set to 100%). Lanolin had no overall effect on skin permeability. However, polyoxypropylene-15 stearyl ether (PSE) had a marked effect. A 5% PSE formulation resulted in a permeation rate comparable to the marketed products. Thus, by using PSE as solvent, it was possible to combine calcipotriol and betamethasone dipropionate in a single formulation while optimal skin permeability was attained. Recently, the efficiency of this formulation (Daivobet®) has been verified in clinical studies showing an improved efficacy in the treatment of psoriatic patients. 相似文献

选择具有代表性的颜色作为光谱重建的训练样本可以有效减少样本冗余,提高光谱重建精度。采用正交试验方法,基于色相、明度和饱和度在Munsell颜色集中选择具有代表性的颜色样本,并分析颜色三属性对光谱重建精度的影响。结果表明,采用主成分分析(PCA)法重建得到的反射率与原反射率的平均均方差(RMS)最大可达0.120 4,而采用违逆(PSE)法和R矩阵(R-matrix)法重建得到的平均RMS相对较小。三属性的优先级别R极差分析中,明度明显大于色相和饱和度。颜色三属性对P C A法的影响大于对PSE法和R-matrix法。明度对光谱重建精度的影响较大,而色相和饱和度对光谱重建精度的影响相对较小。 相似文献
