The range of application of a non-contacting optical technique, speckle pattern interferometry, has been extended to high temperature testing. Extreme thermal conditions cause disturbances that have been studied systematically. Based upon these pre-tests, two prototype systems were developed and they proved well-suited for measuring a field of strain data up to 1500°C and also during rapid heating or cooling. Health monitoring of aboveground storage tanks’ floors: A new methodology based on practical experience 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
An acoustic-emission technique is developed as a nonintrusive method and suitable maintenance-planning tool for inspecting
the floors of storage tanks in order to find an optimum service-period duration. This paper deals with the methodologies and
experiences gathered from field testing of above-ground storage tanks via the acoustic-emission technique conducted in refineries
until now. The results of field testing conducted to date has led us to create a grading system for the purpose of maintenance
of tank floors. The location of leak and corrosion sources that is based on the arrival-time difference in the acoustic-emission
measurement is discussed, and findings gathered through source-location-placement algorithm and results are presented as a
2D map of tank-floor sources.

The paper describes a technique for ultrasonic testing of welded joints in pipelines of small diameters (10 to 530 mm) with
thin walls (2 to 10 mm). A highly efficient technique of ultrasonic testing using “chord” transducers with elastic protective
covers in combination with general-or special-purpose flaw indicators is suggested. The technique has been practically tested
for several years. Possibility of recording results of ultrasonic tests with the help of specialized portable instruments
is discussed. Results of practical utilization of the developed techniques and instruments in detecting real defects are given. 相似文献

亥姆霍兹线圈产生的磁场具有广泛的物理应用。利用霍尔传感器件,自带USB2.0以及10位快速A/D的高性能单片机C8051F340,研制了单芯片(SOC)高速磁场数据测量装置,编写了磁场数据采集处理程序,设计了中心距可调的亥姆霍兹线圈,并用所研制的仪器进行了轴向磁场分布测量。结果表明,该实验装置测量精度高,实时性好,实验手段先进,可扩展为多个设计性物理实验。 相似文献

A method of on-line thermal testing and diagnostics of the engineering state including estimation of the residual life, of flat heaters under conditions of production and operation has been developed using solution of the inverse ill-posed problem of thermal testing. 采用磁记忆技术研究了石化企业铁磁性构件典型缺陷(如裂纹、未焊透、错边、气孔、偏析等)的灵敏度和信号特征。结果表明:该技术在检测上述缺陷时有较高的灵敏度,磁信号特征与检测方向和缺陷主平面间相对夹角有关。当两者垂直时,法向磁场强度Hp (y)在缺陷正上方有过零点;当两者平行时,对称置于缺陷主平面两侧的通道的Hp (y)极性相反,且变化趋势相对。但不管夹角如何,磁记忆信号均在裂纹部位出现突变,不易引起漏检。在偏析严重区域,磁记忆信号沿检测位移出现波峰或波谷变化,这为检测铁磁性材料偏析严重部位提供了一种新的检测手段。 相似文献

四极杆电极系统是一种可产生四极电场分布的仪器装置。由于离子在四极电场中的特殊运动性质,四极杆电极系统已被用于制造多种科学仪器,如四极杆质量分析器、三重四极杆质谱仪、四极线性离子阱、四极杆离子导引, 以及包含四极杆离子导引或四极杆质量分析器等四极杆电极系统的各种串联质谱仪等。这些仪器已被广泛应用于对化学和生物成分的质量分析,环境保护,食品安全等领域。 本工作首先简单介绍四极杆电极系统的理论基础,离子在四极电场中的运动规律与电场分布的关系,四极杆电极系统的几何结构与质谱性能的关系,高阶场的产生及其对质谱分析性能的影响等;然后分别介绍了国内外在四极杆质量分析器和四极离子阱质谱领域内的最新研究成果;最后对四极杆电极系统的研究方向作简要的展望。 相似文献
