Describes a visual monitoring system that performs scene segmentation based on color and texture information. Color information is combined with texture, and corresponding segmentation algorithms are developed to detect and measure changes (loss/gain) in a given scene or environment over a period of time. The xyY color space is used to represent the color information. The two chromaticity coordinates (x, y) are combined into one, thus providing the chrominance (spectral) part of the image, while Y describes the luminance (intensity) information. The proposed color/texture segmentation system processes luminance and chrominance separately. Luminance is processed in three stages: filtering, smoothing and boundary detection. Chrominance is processed in two stages: histogram multi-thresholding and region growing. Two or more images may be combined at the end in order to detect scene changes, using logical pixel operators. As a case study, the methodology is used to determine wetland loss/gain. For comparison purposes, results in both the xyY and HIS (hue, intensity, saturation) color spaces are presented 相似文献

针对现有彩色图像形态学矢量排序算法的缺点,将基于图的二值及灰度形态学扩展到彩色图像,在具备完备格的图空间上定义一种新的彩色矢量形态学算子.为使新算子便于实现,结合图论定义最小生成矢量子图函数及相关理论,并在此基础上提出彩色矢量形态学极值提取算法.实验结果表明,该算子在保存彩色信息的完整及关联性方面优于现有的彩色形态学,避免出现"假色"现象及人为决定主导颜色分量的缺点,同时有效地保护了原图像的纹理不发生较大的变化,较好的保存图像的拓扑结构,有较广的应用前景. 相似文献

This paper presented a novel gamut mapping optimization algorithm based on a special designed gamut-mapped image measure (GMIM). We formulated GMIM as an objective function in an iterative manner, where the iterative step changes based on the information weight which can be computed between the original image and the initial gamut-mapped images. A new metric, GMIM, is developed to compute the achromatic differences and the chromatic differences of the input images based on structural similarity index. For the achromatic part, we introduce the gradient information to detect the achromatic distortions between two images; the chromatic part aims to analyze the hue and chroma information. Further, the circular statistical theory is employed to calculate the hue value. In the iterative process, we change the iterative steps according to the information weight which can be computed by the information theory. The information map between images indicated regions in an image which human paid attentions to. Experimental results demonstrated that our new gamut mapping method can preserve the brightness, color, as well as detail information of the reference images. 相似文献

针对水下图像出现对比度低、颜色偏差和细节模糊等问题,提出了多输入融合对抗网络进行水下图像增强。该方法主要特点是生成网络采用编码解码结构,通过卷积层滤除噪声,利用反卷积层恢复丢失的细节并逐像素进行细化图像。首先,对原始图像进行预处理,得到颜色校正和对比度增强两种类型图像。其次,利用生成网络学习两种增强图像与原始图像之间差异的置信度图。然后,为减少在生成网络学习过程中两种增强算法引入的伪影和细节模糊,添加了纹理提取单元对两种增强图像进行纹理特征提取,并将提取的纹理特征与对应的置信度图进行融合。最后,通过构建多个损失函数,反复训练对抗网络,得到增强的水下图像。实验结果表明,增强的水下图像色彩鲜明并且对比度提升,评价指标UCIQE均值为0.639 9,NIQE均值为3.727 3。相比于其他算法有显著优势,证明了该算法的良好效果。 相似文献

Plasmonic color filtering has provided a range of new techniques for “printing” images at resolutions beyond the diffraction‐limit, significantly improving upon what can be achieved using traditional, dye‐based filtering methods. Here, a new approach to high‐density data encoding is demonstrated using full color, dual‐state plasmonic nanopixels, doubling the amount of information that can be stored in a unit‐area. This technique is used to encode two data sets into a single set of pixels for the first time, generating vivid, near‐full sRGB (standard Red Green Blue color space)color images and codes with polarization‐switchable information states. Using a standard optical microscope, the smallest “unit” that can be read relates to 2 × 2 nanopixels (370 nm × 370 nm). As a result, dual‐state nanopixels may prove significant for long‐term, high‐resolution optical image encoding, and counterfeit‐prevention measures. 相似文献

Many image fusion techniques have been developed. However, most existing fusion processes produce color distortion in 1-m fused IKONOS images due to nonsymmetrical spectral responses of IKONOS imagery. Here, we proposed a fusion process to minimize this spectral distortion in IKONOS 1-m color images. The 1-m fused image is produced from a 4-m multispectral (MS) and 1-m panchromatic (PAN) image, maintaining the relations of spectral responses between PAN and each band of the MS images. To obtain this relation, four spectral weighting parameters are added with the pixel value of each band of the original MS image. Then, each pixel value is updated using a steepest descent method to reflect the maximum spectral response on the fused image. Comparison among the proposed technique and existing processes [intensity hue saturation (IHS) image fusion, Brovey transform, principal component analysis, fast IHS image fusion] has been done. Our proposed technique has succeeded to generate 1-m fused images where spectral distortion has been reduced significantly, although some block distortions appeared at the edge of the fused images. To remove this block distortion, we also proposed a sharpening process using a wavelet transform, which removed block distortion without significant change in the color of the entire image. 相似文献

目前掌纹识别算法主要集中在对掌纹图像所切取的ROI区域的研究,而对原始手部图像的灰度分布特征则讨论较少。在一定光照条件下,掌部不同位置的主线、皱纹和表层皮肤颜色的深浅在灰度图像上各自对应了不同的灰度级。该文提出一种利用手部尺寸和角度信息完成粗分类,借助单元信息熵的概念来分析手部图像的灰度分布特征从而完成细分类的层次掌纹识别方法。该方法不同于传统的对ROI区域进行特征提取的方法,直接利用整幅人手图像完成分类识别。在99类共990幅手部图像的数据库上进行的实验结果与PCA和LDA算法的对比表明,该算法具有比传统算法更高的鲁棒性,识别率也得到了较大幅度的提高。 相似文献

In this paper, a novel hierarchical approach to color image segmentation is studied. We extend the general idea of a histogram to the homogeneity domain. In the first phase of the segmentation, uniform regions are identified via multilevel thresholding on a homogeneity histogram. While we process the homogeneity histogram, both local and global information is taken into consideration. This is particularly helpful in taking care of small objects and local variation of color images. An efficient peak-finding algorithm is employed to identify the most significant peaks of the histogram. In the second phase, we perform histogram analysis on the color feature hue for each uniform region obtained in the first phase. We successfully remove about 99.7% singularity off the original images by redefining the hue values for the unstable points according to the local information. After the hierarchical segmentation is performed, a region merging process is employed to avoid over-segmentation. CIE(L*a*b*) color space is used to measure the color difference. Experimental results have demonstrated the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method after an extensive set of color images was tested. 相似文献

A colored 3D surface reconstruction method which effectively fuses the information of both depth and color image using Microsoft Kinect is proposed and demonstrated by experiment. Kinect depth images are processed with the improved joint-bilateral filter based on region segmentation which efficiently combines the depth and color data to improve its quality. The registered depth data are integrated to achieve a surface reconstruction through the colored truncated signed distance fields presented in this paper. Finally, the improved ray casting for rendering full colored surface is implemented to estimate color texture of the reconstruction object. Capturing the depth and color images of a toy car, the improved joint-bilateral filter based on region segmentation is used to improve the quality of depth images and the peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) is approximately 4.57 dB, which is better than 1.16 dB of the joint-bilateral filter. The colored construction results of toy car demonstrate the suitability and ability of the proposed method. 相似文献

The first step in many techniques for processing intensity and saturation in color images keeping hue unaltered is the transformation of the image data from RGB space to other color spaces such as LHS, HSI, YIQ, HSV, etc. Transforming from one space to another and processing in these spaces usually generate a gamut problem, i.e., the values of the variables may not be in their respective intervals. We study enhancement techniques for color images theoretically in a generalized setup. A principle is suggested to make the transformations gamut-problem free. Using the same principle, a class of hue-preserving, contrast-enhancing transformations is proposed; they generalize existing grey scale contrast intensification techniques to color images. These transformations are also seen to bypass the above mentioned color coordinate transformations for image enhancement. The developed principle is used to generalize the histogram equalization scheme for grey scale images to color images. 相似文献

低照度彩色图像增强在生活中起着重要作用,传统的低照度彩色图像增强算法往往会引起图像的不同程度失真。为了增强低照度彩色图像而又不引起图像失真,本文提出了一种新的低照度图像自适应对比度增强算法。将分数阶微积分、传统Retinex变分法与分段对数变换饱和度增强法相结合,构造一种新的分数阶Retinex图像增强算法。实验结果表明,该方法具有增强图像对比度的同时又能保持边缘和纹理细节的能力。与传统低照度图像增强算法相比,能突出图像的细节纹理信息,同时图像色度和亮度也有明显改善。 相似文献

Watermarking technology is an effective method to clarify the problem of protecting multimedia information. It is the expertise of concealing the information into a host such that the embedded data is invisible. In our strategy luminance band of the selected frames is taken further, it is grouped to alternative pixel shares and flip those images. Two color watermark images are split into distinctive pieces and concatenate its layers, further it is embedded into respective flipped shares under wavelet. Unfold the shares into normal image and stack the designations into single luminance layers. Results achieved the quality of the watermarked frame is high and also the concealed data is requested with acceptably by the human visual system which makes them undetectable. Extraction guarantees that the watermark could be effectively recaptured from a quite short portion of the video. Disguised data are less discernible as well as strong against regular video processing attacks. 相似文献

图像融合是将多幅图像中有用或互补信息整合成一幅图像的过程。本文提出了一种基于引导滤波多尺度分解的红外和可见光图像融合算法。在传统的引导滤波图像融合算法的基础之上,利用双引导滤波器代替均值滤波器将源图像分解为小尺度纹理细节、大尺度边缘和基础图像;直接利用纹理细节及边缘层图像构建显著性映射图,用其代替额外的特征提取操作,可很好地突出源图像显著性信息的同时大大降低算法复杂度;利用显著性映射图、Sigmoid函数构造权重图,将源图像中具有视觉意义的信息注入到融合图像中;利用色彩模型转换融合方式,可更好保留图像的色彩信息。定性和定量实验结果证明,相比于传统的基于引导滤波的图像融合算法,本文算法的融合效果得到进一步提升。 相似文献

为增强高动态范围图像(High dynamic range,HDR)的显示效果,本文提出一种多尺度梯度域色调映射算法。首先提取高动态范围图像的亮度信息,利用双边滤波将高动态范围图像的亮度数据进行多尺度分解,得到基本层和细节层。由于视觉上的亮度变化体现为图像数据的梯度变化,因此可在梯度域对基本层图像进行自适应动态范围压缩,然后加上细节层图像信息,最后再通过色彩校正算法恢复图像色彩,实现HDR图像的动态范围压缩。通过对比算法的定量分析表明,本文算法的方差和信息熵的客观指标分别提高了30.8%和5.9%,因此,本文方法在压缩HDR图像的动态范围的同时,可以更好地保留边界、纹理等细节信息。 相似文献
