We introduce a signal-to-noise ratio in an attempt to suggest an optimum pinhole size for confocal polarized light microscopes. We find that pinhole sizes which are typically 60% greater than those used in nonpolarized light confocal microscopy are appropriate.  相似文献

A wire GEM (WGEM) detector with a gas gap between meshes was constructed. The detector provides the amplification 5 × 104 for the gas mixture of Ar + 20% CO2 at atmospheric pressure. As compared with well-known GEM detectors produced by perforation the plastic plate metallized on both sides the WGEM does not suffer from breakdowns between its electrodes and the effect of accumulation of charges on holes’ walls is absent. In generally accepted emittance measurement, main attention is concentrated on emittance areas ?(x), ?(y) occupied by desired part of ion beam in transverse phase space and shape of these areas. The absolute beam phase density (brightness) as usually is not measured directly and the average beam brightness B is calculated from a beam intensity I and the transverse emittances. In the ion source and low energy beam transport (LEBT) optimization, it is important to preserve the beam brightness because some aberration of ion optic and beam instabilities can decrease the brightness of the central part of ion beam significantly. For these brightness measurements, it is convenient to use an absolute beam brightness detector with the brightness determination from one short considered in this article.  相似文献

A multielectrode vacuum photoemission detector for X-ray tomography of plasmas at the ITER facility is described. The detector characteristics have been investigated with an X-ray source. The spectral response of the detector to X-ray photons with energies of 3–30 keV has been determined. The spatial and angular dependences of the X-ray detection efficiency are presented. 本文基于自动删除单元平均(ACCA)方法和单元平均(CA)方法,提出了一种新的恒虚警检测器(ACGCA-CFAR)以提高CFAR检测的抗干扰性能.它的前沿和后沿滑窗分别采用ACCA和CA方法产生两个局部估计,然后取最大值作为背景噪声功率水平估计.在SwerlingII型目标假设下,推导出ACGCA在均匀背景下虚警概率Pfa的解析表达式,并与现有方案进行了比较,仿真和试验数据处理结果表明:ACGCA-CFAR在均匀背景和非均匀背景下均具有相当好的检测性能,而它的样本排序时间只有OS和ACCA的1/4.  相似文献

The ability to detect small amounts of materials, especially bacterial organisms, is important for medical diagnostics and national security issues. Engineered micromechanical systems provide one approach for constructing multifunctional, highly sensitive, real-time, immunospecific biological detectors. We present qualitative detection of specific Salmonella enterica strains using a functionalized silicon nitride microcantilever. Detection is achieved due to a change in the surface stress on the cantilever surface in situ upon binding of a small number of bacteria. Scanning electron micrographs indicate that less than 25 adsorbed bacteria are required for detection.  相似文献

将高效液相色谱法-蒸发光散射检测器和化学计量学方法结合起来,建立了一种新的测定硫酸卡那霉素注射液中卡那霉素A含量的方法。考察了流动相的种类、比例以及检测器的条件等对测定的影响。实验确定的色谱条件为:C18色谱柱(200mm×4.6mm,5μm);流动相为甲醇:水(50:50);蒸发光散射检测器;漂移管温度50℃;增益50。实验结果表明,该方法的RSD为6.5%。根据经化学计量学方法处理后的图谱计算样品中卡那霉素A的含量为0.08g/mL。  相似文献

The system controlling movement of the γ detector in the spectrometer with a vertex detector (SVD) setup has been upgraded. The choice of circuitry components for designing the control interface, coordinate sensors, actuation mechanisms, and system of emergency shutdown is substantiated. The circuit designs allowing the reliability of the γ detector and its positioning accuracy to be increased are described. Commercially produced industrial controllers of asynchronous motors with frequency steering are used in the system. The software developed for controlling the γ detector movement is described. The system has been completely mounted and tested and now is ready for operation as a part of the SVD setup.  相似文献
