Maltose and starch were hydrolysed to glucose by immobilized amyloglucosidase in a packed-bed reactor and then measured by a glucose oxidase electrode in a flow injection analysis manifold. The steady-state signals for both maltose and starch were constant for reactor residence times between 24 and 73 s. They were reduced on addition of mutarotase by c. 10 % with maltose and by c. 20 % with starch. The steady-state value for glucose in the presence of mutarotase coincided with that for equivalent amounts of both maltose and starch according to Zulkowski, indicating a 100 % conversion im the amyloglucosidase reactor. For 40-μm3 samples, linear response curves were obtained over 100-fold range of concentration. The maximum injection rate corresponded to 30 samples h?1. 相似文献
