Both lath-shaped and martensites are induced by tensile deformation within of a two-phase ( + ) Fe-Cr-Ni stainless steel, forms from the through the at an intersection of two crystals. These are observed both when is surrounded by and when borders . The amount of strain at which both and nucleate, increases with test temperatures in the range –196 to 50° C. Adjacent laths are either twin-related, or 5, 9, 15 or 19° off the twin relationship, as found by analysing electron diffraction patterns.  相似文献

Magnetoconductance and excess conductance due to superconducting fluctuations in aluminum films are measured in order to study the temperature dependence of the pair-breaking parameter at temperatures nearT c . The parameter M is estimated from the relation =/8k B Tin, where in is the inelastic scattering time deduced from the analysis of the magnetoconductance. The parameter F is determined by fitting theories to data on the excess conductance at zero magnetic field. It is shown that: (1) For films with a wide range of the sheet resistanceR , 12R 200 /, the temperature dependence of M nearT c agrees well with the theory of Brenig et al. (2) For clean films withR 100 /, the value of F analyzed with theories including the correction term to the Maki-Thompson contribution shows almost the same temperature dependence as M . In a film withR 200 /, however, a discrepancy between M and F remains. On leave from College of General Education, Kyushu University, Ropponmatsu, Fukuoka, Japan.  相似文献

Natural convective air flow in an enclosure with a horizontal lower wall, vertical side-walls and a straight inclined top wall has been numerically studied. The lower wall is at a uniform high temperature while the top wall is cooled to a uniform lower temperature. The temperature of the side-walls varies in a prescribed way between the temperatures of the bottom and top walls. This flow situation is related to that occurring in a proposed system for use in developing countries for drying crops such as corn and rice. It has been assumed that the flow is steady, laminar, and two-dimensional and that the fluid properties are constant except for the density change with temperature that gives rise to the buoyancy forces. The governing equations have been expressed in terms of stream function and vorticity and written in dimensionless form. The finite element method has been used to obtain the solution to these dimensionless equations. Results have been obtained for enclosures with aspect ratios of between 0.25 and 1 for top surface angles of inclination of between 0 and 45° and for Rayleigh numbers, based on the enclosure width, of between 1000 and 107. The results have been used to study the effect of changes in the governing parameters on the flow pattern in the enclosure and on the mean heat transfer rate to the upper surface.List of symbols A aspect ratio, h/w - h mean height of cavity - k thermal conductivity - Nu local Nusselt number based on w - mean Nusselt number for top surface based on w - n n/w - n coordinate measured normal to boundary surface considered - p pressure - Pr Prandtl number - q local dimensionless heat transfer rate - mean heat transfer rate to top surface - Ra Rayleigh number based on w - T dimensionless temperature - T temperature - T H temperature of bottom surface - T C temperature of top surface - u velocity component in x direction - v velocity component in y direction - w width of cavity - x dimensionless x coordinate - x horizontal coordinate position - y dimensionless y coordinate - y vertical coordinate position - thermal diffusivity This work was supported by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC) of Canada.  相似文献

Solidification behavior of Al-20 wt% Si-8 wt% Fe and Al-30 wt% Si-5 wt% Fe alloys during cooling with a cooling rate of 10 K/min has been studied using optical microscopy, X-ray diffractometry, differential thermal analysis, scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. In Al-20Si-8Fe alloy, metastable -Al4FeSi2 phase with tetragonal structure formed first from melt, followed by primary Si precipitation and then remaining liquid solidified finally into ternary eutectic of -Al, Si and phases. However, in Al-30Si-5Fe alloy, primary Si formed first, followed by the phase precipitation and then eutectic solidification. During isothermal heat treatment of as-solidified alloys, phase transformation from the phase to equilibrium phase began at the interface between phase and -Al matrix and progressed toward the inside of phase with co-precipitation of Si particles due to the difference in composition between -Al4FeSi2 and -Al5FeSi phases.  相似文献

The 2 phase transformation in fractured high temperature stress rupture Ti-48Al-2Nb(at.%) alloy has been studied by analytical electron microscopy. 2 and phases were found at grain boundaries. 2 layers that suspended in layers and interfacial ledge higher than 2d (111) at /2 interfaces were observed in the lamellar grains. These facts indicated that 2 phase transformation and dynamic recrystallization have occurred during high temperature stress rupture deformation. It can be concluded that deformation induced 2 phase transformation and dynamic recrystallization resulted in the presence of particles at grain boundaries. A structural and compositional transition area between deformation-induced 2(or ) and its adjacently original (or 2) phases was found by HREM and EDS and is suggested as a way to transform between and 2 phase during high temperature stress rupture deformation. The transition area was formed by slide of partial dislocations on close-packed planes and diffusion of atoms.  相似文献

The electrical resistivity (T) of V-rich V3Si single crystals (T c-11.4 K) was measured from 4.2 to 300 K along the directions of [1 0 0] and [1 1 1] before and after plastic deformation at 1573 K. Anisotropy of (T) was observed although V3Si has the cubic A15 structure. Plastic deformation does not affect the normal-state (T) behaviour but changes the normal-superconducting transition width Tc. At low temperatures (T c<T 40 K), (T) varies approximately as T n where n-2.5 and this behaviour does not contradict the (0)- phase-diagram plot proposed by Gurvitch, where is the electron-phonon coupling constant and (0) is the residual resistivity.  相似文献

The microstructure and phase transformations occurring in-iron-carbonitrides have been studied by means of X-ray and electron diffraction, electron microscopy and Mössbauer spectrometry. Ordering of the interstitial atoms, N or C, results in a hexagonal unit cell for Fe3(C, N) with parametersa=a3 andc=c wherea andc are the lattice parameters of the hexagonal close-packed (h c p) iron unit cell. Stacking faults on (0001) planes and partial dislocations with Burgers vector b=1/31 0 ¯1 0 are observed in quenched-Fe4 (C, N). After quench-aging, the carbonitrides show a structural hardening due to the precipitation of a metastable phase. Slow cooling of-carbonitrides with less than 25 at% interstitials leads to the precipitation of-carbonitride and ferrite in-phase grains which allows the orientation relationships between the-,- and-phases to be defined and a model of the-phase--phase transformation to be proposed.  相似文献

We report on the measurement of the frequency-dependent complex permittivity, ()=()-i(), over the frequency range, 30 MHz to 6 GHz, of silicon wafers and of thin dielectric films formed on silicon. Measurements, as a function of temperature and time treatments, were obtained by means of an HP Network Analyzer and dielectric probe and the resulting ()and()plots for the silicon wafers are shown to have a Debye-type [1] profile, thereby indicating that the associated polarization mechanism is of the orientational variety.  相似文献
