This paper presents a network architecture for supporting edge mobility, and goes on to consider IP networks in which the core topology is fixed but where the hosts at the edge of the network may be mobile, as is the case in cellular networks. Within this architecture, mobile enhanced routeing (MER) protocols are used to support the prefix-routed requirements of the fixed Internet, along with the movement of IP addresses allocated to mobile nodes. Specific components for the support of such edge mobility (EMA:MER) are then outlined; these offer fixed/mobile IP network convergence, homogeneous IP handoff across heterogeneous access technologies, and inter-domain roaming across heterogeneous large-scale IP domains.  相似文献

The developments of the high speed analog to digital converters (ADC) and advanced digital signal processors (DSP) make the smart antenna with digital beamforming (DBF) a reality. In conventional M-elements array antenna system, each element has its own receiving channel and ADCs. In this paper, a novel smart antenna receiver with digital beamforming is proposed. The essential idea is to realize the digital beamforming receiver based on bandpass sampling of multiple distinct intermediate frequency (IF) signals. The proposed system reduces receiver hardware from M IF channels and 2M ADCs to one IF channel and one ADC using a heterodyne radio frequency (RF) circuitry and a multiple bandpass sampling digital receiver. In this scheme, the sampling rate of the ADC is much higher than the summation of the M times of the signal bandwidth. The local oscillator produces different local frequency for each RF channel The receiver architecture is presented in detail, and the simulation of bandpass sampling of multiple signals and digital down conversion to baseband is given. The principle analysis and simulation results indicate the effectiveness of the new proposed receiver.  相似文献

In a software-defined network,a powerful central controller provides a flexible platform for defining network traffic through theuse of software.When SDN is used in a large-scale network,the logical central controller comprises multiple physical servers,andmultiple controllers must act as one to provide transparent control logic to network applications and devices.The challenge is tominimize the cost of network state distribution.To this end,we propose Distributed ZTE Elastic Network Intelligent Controller(D-ZENIC),a network-control platform that supports distributed deployment and linear scale-out.A dedicated component in the D-ZENIC controller provides a global view of the network topology as well as the distribution of host information.The evaluationshows that balance complexity with scalability,the network state distribution needs to be strictly classified.  相似文献

In this paper, a fast Fourier transform (FFT) hardware architecture optimized for field-programmable gate-arrays (FPGAs) is proposed. We refer to this as the single-stream FPGA-optimized feedforward (SFF) architecture. By using a stage that trades adders for shift registers as compared with the single-path delay feedback (SDF) architecture the efficient implementation of short shift registers in Xilinx FPGAs can be exploited. Moreover, this stage can be combined with ordinary or optimized SDF stages such that adders are only traded for shift registers when beneficial. The resulting structures are well-suited for FPGA implementation, especially when efficient implementation of short shift registers is available. This holds for at least contemporary Xilinx FPGAs. The results show that the proposed architectures improve on the current state of the art.  相似文献

Low power analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) in energy constrained devices, such as wireless sensor readout modules, often target dynamic resolution scalability with application context to reduce the average power consumption. This work implements such an 8–12-bit resolution scalable ADC, using an oversampling and noise-shaping successive approximating register (SAR) architecture. This architecture is selected for its high power efficiency after a detailed comparison of various resolution enhancing techniques within the SAR framework. Specifically, in this paper, three resolution enhancing techniques are reviewed and compared on their energy usage namely: the majority voting, the oversampling, and the oversampling with noise shaping SAR ADC. Furthermore, the proposed resolution scalable ADC simplifies the design of the noise shaping filter by enabling the use of a first order switched-capacitor low-pass filter for shaping the comparator noise and the in-band quantization noise. The ADC design also alleviates the matching concerns by using only an 8-bit capacitive digital-to-analog converter (DAC) for a maximum 12-bit resolution, or 11-bit effective number of bits (ENOB). The architecture can be configured to allow an operation from 8-bit traditional SAR ADC up to an 11-bit ADC by enabling the oversampling and noise shaping loops within the SAR architecture. This ADC is designed to operate with up to 320 kS/s and achieves a power scaling from 80 nW to 1.5 \(\upmu\)W, resulting in an steeper energy-ENOB scaling trend compared to state-of-the art resolution scalable ADCs.  相似文献
