The delay and delay variation-bounded Steiner tree problem is an important multicast routing problem in real-time multimedia networks. Such a constrained Steiner tree problem is known to be NP-complete. This paper proposes an ant colony algorithm with orientation factor and applies it to multicast routing problem with the constraints of delay variation bound. The orientation factor enables the ant to get rid of the initial blindness when searching paths, makes use of the search results and reduces the misguiding effect of pheromone on irrelevant paths, thus overcoming the drawbacks of slow convergence existing in the basic ant colony algorithm, increasing the speed of convergence and speeding up the finding of feasible solution to the problem. The simulation results show that the modified algorithm makes it possible to find a feasible solution to the multicast routing problem with delay variation bound. Compared with the conventional ant colony algorithm, the convergence speed of the modified algorithm is improved.  相似文献

With the development of network multimedia technology, more and more real-time multimedia applications need to transmit information using multicast. The basis of multicast data transmission is to construct a multicast tree. The main problem concerning the construction of a shared multicast tree is selection of a root of the shared tree or the core point. In this paper, we propose a heuristic algorithm for core selection in multicast routing. The proposed algorithm selects core point by considering both delay and inter-destination delay variation. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm performs better than the existing algorithms in terms of delay variation subject to the end-to-end delay bound. The mathematical time complexity and the execution time of the proposed algorithm are comparable to those of the existing algorithms.  相似文献

为了在时延约束务件下进一步优化组播树代价,并降低算法计算复杂度,研究了时延受限的Steiner树问题.分析了MPH(minimum path heuristic)算法的计算复杂度;在此基础上设计了一个时延约束Steiner树算法DCMPH(delay-constrained MPH)用于构造时延约束最小代价组播树.该算法中每个目的结点通过与当前组播树有最小代价的路径加入组播树;若时延不满足要求,则通过合并最小时延SPT(shortest path tree)树进而产生一个满足时延约束的最小代价组播树.仿真实验表明,DCMPH算法生成的组播树在保证时延要求的情况下,与同类算法相比取得了很好的代价性能和较低的计算复杂度.  相似文献

满足多种服务质量请求的多播路由问题是目前多播通信中的重要课题之一。该文作者在研究受端到端时延及时延抖动限制的多播路由问题的过程中,发现当前许多算法所普遍使用的两个最佳链路选择函数并不能完全体现路由的动态过程,同时它们还存在一定的缺陷。而正是由于这种缺陷,在某些情况下通过这两个最佳链路选择函数所得到的结果树可能不包含所有的目标节点,文中称这种情况为“多播不可达”。针对上述问题,该文提出了“多播可达”的假设条件以及一个新的最佳链路选择函数,并在此基础上提出了一个满足时延及时延抖动双重限制的最小代价多播树的建立算法(DDVBMRA)以及一种动态重组多播组目标节点的方法。仿真结果表明本算法具有很好的延抖动及代价性能。  相似文献

Depending on different switching technologies, the multicast communication problem has been formulated as three different graph theoretical problems: the Steiner tree problem, the multicast tree problem, and the multicast path problem. Our efforts in this paper are to reduce the communication traffic of multicast in hypercube multiprocessors. We propose three heuristic algorithms for the three problem models. Our multicast path algorithm is distributed, our Steiner tree algorithm is centralized, and our multicast tree algorithm is hybrid. Compared with the previous results by simulation, each of our heuristic algorithms improves the communication traffic in the corresponding multicast problem model.  相似文献

VPLS作为一种革新的技术受到了广泛的关注和认可。但是,在用VPLS承载数据业务的时候还面临着一个复杂的难题:组播问题。传统的组播问题是具有NPC复杂度的Steiner问题。本文试图从应用和实现的角度出发,建立具有时延约束机制的组播转发机制。以建立最小时延树和最小开销树作为初始条件,运用循环迭代算法,求解满足时延约束的最小开销树。算法的复杂性为O(n^2)。作为补充,还提出了组播树的剪枝机制。试验结果表明,文中的算法简单可行,易于实现,适合应用于VPLS网络中。  相似文献

QoS组播路由问题是一个非线性的组合优化问题,已证明了该问题是NP完全问题。为适应下一代IP网络对实时信息传输的要求,在异步模式粒子群优化算法基础上,给出包含延迟、延迟抖动、带宽、丢包率和最小花费5个约束条件在内的QoS组播路由算法。该算法首先给出数学模型,设计适应度函数,再给出受限的网络模型,通过粒子群优化(PSO)算法最大化适应度函数来求解最优Steiner树。算法仿真实验结果表明:与遗传算法和同步模式的粒子群优化算法相比,该算法有较好的收敛速度和寻优效果。  相似文献

Quality of service (QoS) provisioning generally assumes more than one QoS measure that implies that QoS routing can be categorized as an instance of routing subject to multiple constraints: delay jitter, bandwidth, cost, etc. We study the problem of constructing multicast trees to meet the QoS requirements of real-time interactive applications where it is necessary to provide bounded delays and bounded delay variation among the source and all destinations while keeping overall cost of the multicast tree low. The main contribution of our work is a new strategy for constructing multiconstrained multicast trees. We first derive mathematically a new delay-variation estimation scheme and prove its efficiency. Thereafter, we propose a simple and competitive (in terms of running time) heuristic algorithm, for delay and delay variation constrained routing problem based on the proposed delay-variation estimation scheme and using the Extended Prim-Dijkstra tradeoffs’ algorithm. Our contribution also extends previous works in providing some properties and analyses of delay bounded paths satisfying delay variation constraints. Extensive simulation results show that our algorithm outperforms DVDMR in terms of multicast delay variation with the same time complexity as DVDMR.  相似文献

研究多播端到端时延受限条件下的最优时延抖动问题,目前已经出现了许多启发式算法,如DVMA(delay variation multicast algorithm)、DDVCA(delay and delay variation constraint algorithm)。DDVCA的时延抖动小于DVMA。Cheng等人也提出了一种算法,它的时延抖动小于DDVCA。在此基础上提出了一种有效的多播路由算法。仿真结果表明,该算法的平均时延抖动小于Cheng等人的平均时延抖动。  相似文献

The distributed algorithm for a multicast connection set-up, based on the ‘cheapest insertion’ heuristic, is reviewed. The multicast routing problem is translated into a Steiner tree problem in point-to-point networks where nodes have only a limited knowledge about the network. A solution is proposed in which the time complexity and the amount of information exchanged between network nodes are proportional to the number of members of the multicast group. The Steiner tree is constructed by means of a distributed table-passing algorithm. The analysis of the algorithm presented, backed up by simulation results, confirms its superiority over the algorithm based on ‘waving technique’.Scope and purposeMulticasting is a mechanism used in communication networks that allows distribution of information from a single source to multiple destinations. The problem of finding a multicast connection for a static group of communicating entities in connection-oriented point-to-point network can be formulated in graph theory as a minimum Steiner tree problem. Due to NP-completeness of the Steiner tree problem multicast, routing algorithms are based on heuristics. The diversity of network environments and the lack of centralised information about network topology require an effective distribution of the multicast routing algorithms among the network nodes. This article presents an alternative to the distributed algorithm proposed by Rugelj and Klavzar that implements the same heuristics for the construction of a minimum cost multicast connection in point-to-point networks. The present algorithm constitutes a substantial improvement over that previously proposed with regard to running time and the amount of the information exchanged between network nodes.  相似文献

随着许多多媒体在高速网络中的应用,多播路由问题成为越来越重要的课题。多播路由问题在计算机网络中是著名的Steiner树问题,同时也是NP完全问题。该文提出了一种基于遗传算法的多播路由优化算法,采用可变长度染色体(多播树)和基因(路径)应用于编码问题。该算法在满足带宽和时延约束条件下寻找代价最小的多播树。仿真实验证明该算法能快速找到最优解,收敛速度快,可靠性高,能够满足多媒体网络对实时性的要求。  相似文献

很多实时多媒体应用要求通信网络提供多播服务支持,而且往往需要传输的信息满足源端到目的端的时延约束。该文对时延约束的多播路由问题进行了研究,基于原有的从源端到目的端的时延受限路径构造算法,提出了一种时延受限多播路由算法。该算法能够快速构建满足时延约束的多播树。理论分析表明,该算法的时间复杂度和CDKS算法相同。仿真实验结果表明,该算法所构建的多播树代价低于CDKS算法。  相似文献

由于IP多播在部署上的困难,覆盖多播网络(overlay multicast networks,简称OMN)作为构建通用的多播服务平台的另一可行途径正不断为人们所认可.针对实时多媒体应用对带宽需求的异构性,研讨了异构环境下OMN的路由问题.通过对度约束模型进行扩展,描述了一种新的适应异构环境的OMN网络模型.采用分层的带宽分配策略,提出了一种异构环境下构造OMN最小延时半径多播树的启发式算法--分层的压缩树(1ayered compact tree,简称LCT)算法,并对其性质进行了理论证明和分析.仿真实验结果表明,随着分配带宽的减少,LCT算法能够有效地降低多播树的高度和网络资源使用量,并保持较低的多播树延时半径增幅.  相似文献

针对无线传感器网络应用于输电线路故障传输时存在通信代价高、实时性差的问题,提出一种输电线路故障传输多播路由算法(MRFT)。抽象出输电线路故障信息传输网络模型;根据时延最短路径树(SPT)的最大端到端时延确定多播树时延上限,将时延上限边接入多播树;设计最小代价启发函数将剩余叶子节点接入多播树。仿真结果表明,与KPP算法相比,MRFT算法构造的多播树在多播树时延、端到端时延方差和多播树代价3个方面均有良好表现。该算法能够有效保证输电线路故障信息传输的实时性,降低通信代价。  相似文献

对于多媒体应用等实时组播业务而言,组播路由算法不仅要考虑优化代价,还要考虑时延约束。针对这一问题,提出一种支持动态组播的时延受限低代价组播路由启发式算法(delay-constrained multicast algorithm,DCMA)。该算法基于DDMC算法进行扩展,采用新的指示函数和链路选择函数,综合考虑了时延和代价,有效保证了组播树的性能,而且时间复杂度低,可用于实际的应用系统中。  相似文献

研究了带宽、时延及时延抖动约束最小代价的QoS组播路由问题,提出一种利用模拟退火方法解决该问题的QoS组播路由算法SABDMA。该算法通过选择合适的模拟退火参数迭代求解,以获得满足QoS约束的最小代价组播树。同时,为避免搜索区域的扩大和计算时间的增加,根据时延和时延抖动的关系,提出采用“路径交换”策略在可行解范围内构造邻域集。仿真结果表明该算法具有可行、稳定、收敛快的特点;能根据组播应用对QoS的限制要求,有效地构造代价较低的组播树,具有较强的实时性。  相似文献
