One of the most common pharmaceutical dosage forms is the compressed tablet, and of the several methods of preparing tablets, wet granulation remains widely used throughout the pharmaceutical industry. An apparatus was designed to follow the physical changes occurring in the granulation process. Its operation and preliminary results are presented.

As dry solid is wetted with granulating liquid, it passes through several stages, as it becomes wetter, it should exhibit a resistance to flow analagous to a viscous liquid. This resistance (force) can be measured. The test procedure follows the material from a dry powder through its maximum resistance and finally to a slurry. Such profiles could represent a characterization method for the solid and/or the liquid.

Materials tested included six common tablet excipients; these have been limited to single component granulations. Results indicate this apparatus is reproducible for these simple systems. Materials are shown to behave differently in the granulation process, and the apparatus appears capable of distinguishing between different materials.  相似文献

We present preliminary results on characterisation of voltage biased superconducting bolometers with an NbSi alloy sensor. I(V) curves as well as complex impedance and noise measurements are carried out in a dilution fridge with a pulse tube as a first stage cooler. SQUIDs polarization and addressing are controlled by a cold ASIC in which a SiGe amplifier has been implemented. First characterisations were done on full membrane bolometers and show a noise level of about $10^{-16}\ \mathrm{W}/\sqrt{\mathrm{Hz}}$ . Those detectors are developed for the QUBIC experiment, a B-modes telescope that will be deployed in Antactica in 2013.  相似文献

以拟薄水铝石为前驱体,硝酸为胶溶剂,制备铝溶胶,并以凝胶时间为指标设计正交试验,研究体系胶溶过程及溶胶喷雾造粒法制备的球形刚玉磨料的性能。结果表明,对体系胶溶过程及其性能影响最大的是温度,其次是酸铝比(n(H~+)/n(AlOOH))与初始固含量,并确定铝溶胶最佳制备条件为:胶溶温度70℃,酸铝比0.07,初始固含量35%(质量分数)。与高温熔融法制得的刚玉磨料相比,溶胶喷雾造粒法所制备的刚玉磨料一次晶粒较细小,晶型完整,粒度分布均匀,且具有较好的球形度。将不同工艺制备的刚玉磨料配制成质量固含量为5%的抛光液对不锈钢工件进行抛光,结果表明,与高温熔融法相比,用溶胶喷雾造粒法所制备的刚玉磨料对不锈钢工件抛光后,工件表面的一致性较好,表面粗糙度为0.045μm,降低了76.6%。  相似文献

Nowadays, ferroalloys are mainly produced by mold casting and crushing process in China which have obvious drawbacks like low efficiency and high energy consumption. In the present study, a novel process which was based on a rotary multi-nozzles cup atomizer (RMCA) was suggested on FeSi75 (alloy containing 75?wt.% Si). A circle of water curtain was set around the rotary multi-nozzles cup atomizer. According to the calculation results of atomization mechanism, the granulation process agreed with Rayleigh’s mechanism. During the breakup of the alloy ligament, the surface tension plays an important role on the formation of droplet, and the effect of centrifugal force on the diameter of the alloy droplets becomes obvious with the increasing of the rotating speed. In the current study, the models of the traveling trajectories and the heat transfer of the alloy droplet are established. It is found that the solidification time of droplet with different thickness of solidification layer increase with the increase the alloy droplets’ diameter. And the thickness of water curtain required for cooling the alloy increases with increasing the rotating speed.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

High-shear wet granulation is widely used for the production of pharmaceutical dosage forms. Different equipment is available for high-shear granulation and drying. This review focuses on two main processes for granules production: multiphase consisting of high-shear granulation followed by drying in a separate apparatus, and single pot granulation/drying. At present, formulas are specifically developed with regard to the production equipment, which raises many problems when different industrial manufacturing equipment is used. Indeed, final granules properties are likely to depend on equipment design, process, and formulation parameters. Therefore, a good understanding of these parameters is essential to facilitate equipment changes.

The aim of this review is to present the influence of equipment, process, and formulation parameters on granules properties, considering both the granulation and the drying steps of multiphase and single pot processes.  相似文献

The context of this study is the development of polarisation sensitive detectors in view of future Cosmic Microwave Background experiments. Our goal is to demonstrate the possibility to make a mm-wave polarisation analyser at 150 GHz using Lumped Element Kinetic Inductance Detectors (LEKIDs). Although LEKIDs are very attractive for the relative ease of fabrication, they have an intrinsic optical response which is weakly polarisation-senstive, i.e. orthogonal linear polarisations are absorbed with comparable efficiencies (with a separation typically not exceeding few dB). To overcome this difficulty, we achieve a polarised response by means of small ( \(\sim \lambda \times \lambda \) ) superconducting Nb wire-grids. Each grid is deposited on the rear side of the 300 micron Si substrate, on which 20 nm Al resonators are patterned, so that each pixel may in principle respond as an independent polarisation analyser. Simulations show encouraging results, with a deep (-20 dB) rejection of the unwanted polarisation. Although what we present here is not yet a polarimeter, this pilot study allows us to address some relevant questions that may be crucial in view of a full polarimetric architecture development. In particular, our first prototypes will allow to assess the behaviour of small grids, the interaction between adjacent polarised pixels, and to choose the most suitable resonator geometry. What we present here are preliminary design results about devices which are currently being realised, and soon ready for optical response characterisation.  相似文献

The characteristics and growth mechanisms of fluidized bed granules are dependent both on process variables and the grades of PVP binders used. Generally, an increase in the concentration, spraying rate and volume of binder solution caused an increase in granule size and a decrease in size distribution. These two factors will in turn affect the poured and tapped densities of granules. Granules prepared with PVP K90 solution appeared to grow by primary and secondary agglomeration to give an aggregate structure. Granules prepared with PVP K120 solution were formed through snowballing as the primary agglomeration process. This occurred at low binder solution concentration with secondary agglomeration taking place when the concentration of PVP K120 solution was increased.  相似文献
