Sellers of aqueous cleaning agents have but two things to offer: their proprietary formulation and their service. So they protect the former because it's their lifeblood. And users value the latter because they need to know as much as they can about the formulation—to fulfill OSHA's Hazard Communication (HAZCOM) requirements, to manage or troubleshoot their “bug pond” where the spent formulation is treated, or just to get clean parts. This, column will attempt to generally identify the composition of your aqueous cleaning agent.     

XRF for film thickness measurement: Pros vs. cons of common configurations: Choosing a benchtop or a hand-held X-ray fluorescence machine often boils down to user''s specific needs.

While the portability of the hand-held XRF tool provides a very real and attractive level of additional capability in terms of measurement location and sample types that can be measured, care must be taken to assure that sample size and measurement location size are adequately satisfied by the handheld tool. In addition, thought should be given as to the methodology of individual part and multiple part measurements and how they relate to the way either a benchtop or hand-held XRF tool must be used. As is always the case, each configuration has its advantages and disadvantages. Which tool is the better choice will depend on your specific needs.     

Design knowledge extraction from scenario-based databases using associative search engine for FR-induced decisions

The authors set the functional requirement of “reduce your own risk” and ran sessions of associative search to extract useful knowledge from databases. Ninety engineers found the most analogous knowledge using the associative search engine “GETA/IMAGINE” on scenario-based databases “Failure Knowledge Database” and “100 Scenarios of Failure.” Above 60% of their risk concern cases successfully reached the most analogous accident cases or failure scenarios from either database in about 10 min. Associative search can aid the designer in selecting design solutions for the functional domain.

基于混合算法的七轴机器人逆解求解

为了解决七轴机器人逆运动学求解较难、精度较低的问题,提出一种基于数值迭代法与粒子群优化算法相结合的方法求解.对机器手模型及逆运动学位姿函数进行了研究,利用数值迭代法进行机器手逆解的初步最优角度解,在此基础上缩小搜索范围利用粒子群算法进行二次优化搜索计算,减小数值迭代过程中产生的累积误差,仿真结果表明机器手的位姿精度大大...
