In this paper,in order to stabilize the position and angle of the light source point,a new photon beam position feedback system based on the Photon Beam Position Monitors was developed on Hefei Light Source,and used to correct the position drift and angle variation of the light source at the same time.On introducing the feedback principle,the transfer function matrix is calibrated,indicating that the new system is workable and effective. 相似文献

<正>In this paper,in order to achieve the output signal processing of cavity beam position monitor(CBPM),we develop a digital intermediate frequency receiver architecture based signal processing system,which consists of radio frequency(RF) front end and high speed data acquisition board.The beam position resolution in the CBPM signal processing system is superior to 1μm.Two signal processing algorithms,fast Fourier transform(FFT) and digital down converter(DDC),are evaluated offline using MATLAB platform,and both can be used to achieve,the CW input signal,position resolutions of 0.31μm and 0.10μm at -16 dBm.The DDC algorithm for its good compatibility is downloaded into the FPGA to realize online measurement,reaching the position resolution of 0.49μm due to truncation error.The whole system works well and the performance meets design target. 相似文献

对同步辐射光源不稳定性的监测一直是北京同步辐射装置(BSRF)在运行中急需的技术手段。随着北京正负电子对撞机升级改造工程的不断推进,光源的性能得到了很大提高,对光源不稳定性的监测也提出了更高的要求。一种双楔片型的同步辐射光束位置探测器在北京同步辐射装置上得到发展,并在前端区安装和使用。它可以有效监测同步光束位置的10μm级的变化,为降低光源不稳定性、提高数据质量提供了依据。本文详细描述了双楔片型同步辐射光束位置监测器的设计原理、参数优化以及误差分析,并介绍了这种监测器在BSRF的应用情况。 相似文献

This fully digital beam position measurement instrument is designed for beam position monitoring and machine research in Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility. The signals received from four position-sensitive detectors are narrow pulses with a repetition rate up to 499.654 MHz and a pulse width of around 100 ps, and their dynamic range could vary over more than 40 dB in machine research. By the employment of the under-sampling technique based on high-speed high-resolution A/D conversion, all the processing procedure is performed fully by the digital signal processing algorithms integrated in one single Field Programmable Gate Array. This system functions well in the laboratory and commissioning tests, demonstrating a position resolution (at the turn by turn rate of 694 kHz) better than 7 μm over the input amplitude range of -40 dBm to 10 dBm which is well beyond the requirement. 相似文献

The four electrodes in the stripline beam position monitor(BPM) for Hefei Light Source(HLS II) storage ring are of axially symmetric type. We have derived a new calibration method of electrode gains for this type stripline BPM. The gain fit error of different data grids was analyzed, and the ±5 mm by ±5 mm grid is the best.The electrode gains of two stripline BPMs(HLS II SR-BD-STLB1 and HLS II SR-BD-STLB2) were obtained based on offline calibrated data. The results show that data after fitting gains are improved, with the electrode gains being between 0.94 and 1.15. 相似文献

描述了用平面工艺技术研制基于硅多条的两维位置灵敏探测器的制备工艺技术及性能测试初步结果.这种探测器的灵敏面积为50 mm×50 mm.P掺杂面被等分成相互平行的长度为50mm,宽度为3mm的16条,相邻条之间的间隔为100μm.硅条P掺杂层是一层均匀分布的电阻层,利用电荷分除法,可以得到入射粒子在该条上的位置(Y位置).当探测器工作在全耗尽偏压下时,大部分单条的反向漏电流<30nA.对239Pu α粒子得到能量分辨率<2.5%,位置分辨<0.5 mm. 相似文献

This article presents a prototype of beam position and phase measurement (BPPM) electronics designed for the LINAC in China Accelerator Driven Sub-critical system (ADS). The signals received from the Beam Position Monitor (BPM) detectors are narrow pulses with a repetition frequency of 162.5 MHz and a dynamic range more than 40 dB. Based on the high-speed high-resolution Analog-to-Digital conversion technique, the input RF signals are directly converted to In-phase and Quadrature-phase (1Q) streams through under-sampling, which simplifies both the analog and digital processing circuits. All signal processing is integrated in one single FPGA, in which real-time beam position, phase and current can be obtained. A series of simulations and tests have been conducted to evaluate the performance. Initial test results indicate that this prototype achieves a phase resolution better than 0.1 degree and a position resolution better than 20 grn over a 40 dB dynamic range with the bandwidth of 780 kHz, which is well beyond the application requirements. 相似文献

In this paper, we report the development of a bunch-by-bunch beam position acquisition system.Through a wideband synthesizer of PLL, the system realizes synchronous clock of bunch signal. Based on the highperformance FPGA hardware DAQ environment, fourchannel raw data of beam signal can be achieved.
