Time control and management are important in flexible manufacturing systems (FMS). The time to finish the machining unit is
uncertain because of the uncertainties of the workpieces, so the whole time to finish the FMS is also variable. In order to
reduce the time to finish for the whole FMS to improve efficiency, the modeling and analysis method for this timing kind of
FMS based on standard Petri net is proposed. The modeling method is a mapping from the machining units to the component of
a Petri net, and the timing factors are represented by a timing function on the place set. With the Petri net model obtained
and its reachability graph, the timing factors influencing the implementation of the FMS are analysed and presented. In addition,
the method is obtained to find the best state line for the implementation of the FMS. 相似文献

Automated storage and retrieval systems (AS/RS) are playing an important role in modern manufacturing systems such as flexible manufacturing systems (FMS). The integration of AS/RS systems and FMS is very complex owing to the complexity of the individual elements. Stochastic coloured petri nets (SCPN) can be used to model, simulate and analyse such a system efficiently and realistically. This paper describes the use of an ARIMA (autoregressive-integrated- moving-average) model and its equivalent state space
models to produce rule-based knowledge for flexible manufacturing systems (FMS) that can be used to investigate a wide variety
of problems including machine breakdown, material shortage, and changes of scheduling rules. One great advantage of using
the proposed models is the ease with which the simulation results can be summarised, analysed and captured, as well as the
availability of the mathematical representation of the knowledge that can be kept in a knowledge database for evaluation and
selection of alternative FMS strategies in a real-time environment. Various case studies are used to illustrate the methodology
and the development of ARIMA and state space models, the analysis includes the system cost and stability of changes or interventions,
the relationships among the simulation inputs and outputs, and the formulation of the production rule-base for the FMS scheduler.
Management can use this integrated approach to describe and predict the dynamic behaviour of a complex FMS. 相似文献

分析了FMS调度与控制统一建模与集成设计的必要性,从FMS运行过程的IDEF0功能建模入手,建立了基于模块化彩色赋时Petri网(CTPN)的FMS调度与控制的统一模型。该模型不仅可描述FMS的调度问题,而且能表达FMS的运行控制逻辑与仿真,从而为FMS控制系统的集成设计奠定了基础。为简化FMS控制系统的设计,提出了虚拟工作站的概念与方法,将FMS控制器的部分控制功能下放到低层的工作站控制层。基于上述CTPN统一模型,开发了FMS调度与控制的集成设计原理和方法。 相似文献

Tool reliability plays an important role in the performance and justification of flexible manufacturing systems (FMS). Failure
of a single tool can cause downtimes over the entire system. This results in missing due dates, and inferior products. Therefore,
in order to justify the large capital investment associated with FMS, the system must perform in a reliable manner to give
an acceptable or expected rate of return on capital. FMS reliability should be studied at the planning and design stages,
as tool failures pose a major obstacle to achieving this objective. In this paper, a mathematical model has been developed
to determine the spares requirement of the tooling system in an FMS, so that the desired system reliability is achieved and
the cost is minimised. The influence of tool sharing on cost, reliability, spares requirement, and tool magazine capacity
of the FMS are analysed. The tools and tool transporter are subject to general failure distributions. 相似文献

分析了在递阶控制体系下FMS单元控制器的功能与结构。基于面向对象的思想,从设备层到工作站层再到单元层逐步扩展,建立了FMS的面向对象Petri网(OPN)动态模型,在此模型基础上,增加与系统调度和实际设备监控相关联的设备状态库所、控制库所和决策库所,使其扩展成为运控OPN。以运控OPN为核心并结合其他功能模块给出调度与控制集成的单元控制器软件结构,按照这种结构开发FMS单元控制器,并应用于北京交通大学教学型FMS。 相似文献
