通过增塑剂种类及用量对旋转模塑用聚氯乙烯(PVC)增塑糊粘度及其粘度稳定性、脱气性能、凝胶化性能的影响及温度对凝胶化性能的影响进行了研究。结果表明:选择自身粘度较小且溶剂化能力较弱的增塑剂及随增塑剂用量增加,PVC增塑糊粘度下降、粘度稳定性逐渐变好,有利于PVC增塑糊的排气性能提高,延长PVC增塑糊的凝胶化时间。通过调节加热温度及时间可在一定范围内有效控制凝胶化过程,以期获得制品所需性能。  相似文献

研究了纳米CaCO3/PVC增塑糊体系的触变性能,并在分析纳米CaCO3/PVC增塑糊体系中作用力、增塑糊中物CaCO3粒子分布状态的基础上建立了纳米CaCO3/PVC增塑糊体系的微观结构模型,依据该模型提出了纳米物CaCO3/PVC增塑糊体系的触变性行为机理。结果表明,从触变性能出发,纳米CaCO3的填充量存在一个最佳范围;随着剪切力的增大,CaCO3粒子间拟网络结构的平衡状态逐渐被破坏,体系的微观结构形态发生变化,粒子间的距离被拉开,颗粒间的作用力由排斥转变为吸引。在外部剪切力消除后,布朗运动和团聚体颗粒间的吸引力使得体系又恢复到静止状态的拟网络结构,但恢复过程需要一定时间,从而使体系体现出触变性行为。  相似文献

Influences of contents and molecular weights of low‐density polyethylene (LDPE) on dioctyl phthalate (DOP) plasticization in the poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) plastisol (PVC/DOP/AO = 100/30/6.5) were investigated using DMA and DSC. The plasticization effects of DOP on the PVC plastisol were found to decrease with increasing LDPE content. A negligible plasticization effect of DOP on the PVC plastisol was found when the LDPE content was equal to or higher than 75 parts per 100 parts by weight of LDPE and PVC together. Based on thermal fractionation experiments, a favorable interaction between LDPE and DOP was developed during melt blending of LDPE and the PVC plastisol. The present interaction enabled the incorporation of DOP into LDPE and decreased the plasticization effects of DOP on the PVC plastisol. A further decrease in the plasticization effects of DOP on the PVC plastisol by the presence of LDPE was found with increasing LDPE molecular weights. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The ability of a PVC plastisol to liberate entrapped air during mixing and processing is an important factor to the processors. This property, known as air release, is affected by several variables such as resin, plastisol viscosity, surface tension, surfactant system and plasticizer type. A study was conducted to obtain a more fundamental understanding of the effects of these variables on air release. Complicating the accurate study of a plastisol's air release properties is the fact that current test procedures such as the vacuum rise, syringe test and Huff or ring test each have limitations imposed by either plastisol properties or by testing technique. Any one of these procedures alone may not adequately measure air release. This paper, in addition to studying the factors affecting air release, discusses these testing limitations and makes recommendations as to the best methods for evaluating air release properties in the laboratory.  相似文献

The fundamentals of plastisol rheology must be understood in order to properly select and utilize plastisol property measurements. Useful evaluation should also be made of the rheological effects of formulation ingredients and their interrelationships. Other factors such as plastisol preparation, storage conditions, process shear rates, temperatures, dwell times, and finished product specifications will influence the design of effective test procedures. Once meaningful plastisol property measurements have been developed, better quality control assurance results, and in addition quality, productivity, and profitability improvements are effected.  相似文献

Dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA) can be a particularly useful tool for studying PVC plastisol manufacturing processes. DMA temperature sweeps are uniquely able to characterize plastisol gelation and fusion behavior under low shear stress conditions that are similar to conditions found in many commercial plastisol processing operations. Dynamic mechanical analysis is also well‐suited for studying plastisol melt viscosities at low shear rates such as might be encountered in a flexible PVC foaming process or rotomolding process. Likewise, DMA rate sweeps or strain sweeps can give insights into self‐association and flow properties in a plastisol which ordinary viscometers cannot provide. J. VINYL ADDIT.
