An Internet-Based Multimedia Highway Information System   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
As a part of highway infrastructure management, photographic logging systems are used widely in highway departments. However, the technology associated with current photographic logging systems is largely based on analog video technology. New technologies in digital video, the Internet, and database management have provided opportunities to overcome the limitations of analog video and improve the accessibility and functionality of photographic logging and traditional engineering databases. This article describes a newly developed multimedia-based highway information system (MMHIS) and its implementations in the World Wide Web environment. MMHIS is an integrated database system combining traditional highway engineering site data with visual graphic and roadway videos. The objective of developing the Web-based MMHIS was to establish a Web site and a server to provide simultaneous information retrievals of the multimedia database through the Internet and the highway agency's internal computer network. This article presents the capabilities of MMHIS and discusses the implementation of a WWW-based MMHIS. It is concluded that it is cost-effective to establish a Web-based MMHIS for production purposes.  相似文献

视频监控系统的发展经历了:①第一代:闭路电视系统构建的模拟系统;②第二代:数字信号控制的模拟系统;③第三代:以数字硬盘录像设备为核心的数字监控录像系统;④第四代:数字网络视频监控系统。比较了几种视频监控方案的优劣。着重介绍了多媒体网络视频数字监控系统的核心技术:MPEG-4多媒体应用标准、多点通信、实时传输、异构网络通信平台、嵌入式系统,以及多媒体网络视频数字监控系统的主要构成要素:网络视频编码器、采集工作站、总控工作站、监控服务器。最后介绍了一个网络视频监控系统的应用案例。  相似文献

The objective of this article is to develop an electronic collaborative environment supporting cross‐disciplinary heterogeneous computer‐aided design (CAD) use. Design information flows, as a result of concurrent execution of an open‐ended set of applications, require both better communication and control for design effectiveness. This work reviews current capabilities in database transactions to support CAD/CAM and proposes a new architecture to support missing capabilities. In this article we outline the use of a process management module within a product modeling environment. The management and control of design information flows are addressed at three levels of abstraction: a conceptual framework for specifying and reasoning about design transactional flows, a comprehensive distributed object model of design processes, and a client‐server network‐based computing infrastructure supporting the process model.  相似文献

为制定科学有效的养护决策,基于高速公路路面性能数据进行神经网络模拟预测了未来 5 个运营年限的路面性能,提出一种新的路面养护决策优化数据包络分析(DEA)模型。该模型以养护里程量、交通量和养护投入资金为输入指标,以路面使用性能恢复值为输出指标,对所提出的 13 种养护方案进行有效性评价,选出投入少、产出高的高效率方案。结果表明:综合考虑交通量、投入资金、产出效率和养护工作量等因素能够客观地筛选出高效率的养护方案。方案结果可为公路管理者做出合理养护决策提供有效依据。  相似文献

This article aims to investigate the feasibility of incorporating of an artificial neural network (ANN) as an innovative technique for modelling the pavement structural condition, into pavement management systems. For the development of the ANN, strain assessment criteria are set in order to characterise the structural condition of flexible asphalt pavements with regards to fatigue failure. This initial task is directly followed with the development of an ANN model for the prediction of strains primarily based on in situ field gathered data and not through the usage of synthetic databases. For this purpose, falling weight deflectometer (FWD) measurements were systematically conducted on a highway network, with ground-penetrating radar providing the required pavement thickness data. The FWD data (i.e. deflections) were back-analysed in order to assess strains that would be utilised as output data in the process of developing the ANN model. A paper exercise demonstrates how the developed ANN model combined with the suggested conceptual approach for characterising pavement structural condition with regard to strain assessment could make provisions for pavement management activities, categorising network pavement sections according to the need for maintenance or rehabilitation. Preliminary results indicate that the ANN technique could help assist policy decision makers in deriving optimum strategies for the planning of pavement infrastructure maintenance.  相似文献

文章介绍了铜纤维的增强机理和钢纤维混凝土在穿城改造原有沥青路面中的应用情况。在对水泥稳定碎石基层和钢纤维混凝土面层试验结果的基础上,提出了行之有效的方法来解决由于铜纤维的掺入而引起的集束效应和团结现象。证实了钢纤维混凝土在城市道路改造工程、路面修补工程的可行性和钢纤维混凝土具有抗拉弯、抗裂、耐磨、耐疲劳等优良的路用性能。它不仅可使面层减薄,缩缝间距加大,改善路面的使用性能。而且还可节省工程维修、养护造价和施工工期的缩短。建议在路面标高受到限制、通车影响、施工工期等因素受到制约时。应优先考虑采用钢纤维混凝土路面。  相似文献

Addressing the multidimensional challenges involved in advancing the sustainability of pavement systems requires the development of optimisation-based decision support system (DSS) for pavement management with the capability to identify optimally sustainable pavement maintenance and rehabilitations (M&R) strategies. The main objective of this research work is to develop a multi-objective optimisation framework that hosts a comprehensive and integrated pavement life cycle costs–life cycle assessment model that covers the pavement’s whole life cycle, from the extraction and production of materials to construction and maintenance, transportation of materials, work-zone traffic management, usage and end-of-life. The capability of the proposed DSS is analysed in a case study aiming at investigating, from a full life cycle perspective, the extent to which a number of pavement engineering solutions are efficient in improving the environmental and economic aspects of pavement sustainability, when applied in the management of a road pavement section. Multiple bi-objective optimisation analyses considering accordingly agency costs, user costs and greenhouse gas emissions were conducted based on a multi-objective genetic algorithm. Pareto fronts were obtained for each analysis, originating a set of non-dominated maintenance and rehabilitation solutions. Posteriorly, a multi-criteria decision analysis method was used to find the best compromise solution for pavement management.  相似文献

In this paper, a hybrid neural network (NN)-genetic algorithm (GA) based non-destructive pavement auscultation method for instantaneous airfield infrastructure condition assessment is discussed. NNs are employed for finite element aided forward prediction of pavement surface deflections resulting from non-destructive test impulse loading and the GAs are used for global optimisation of the pavement structural parameters by matching the NN predicted deflections with the measured pavement response. This hybrid approach takes advantage of the non-linear estimation capability provided by neural networks trained using finite element (FE) solutions in modelling the stress-dependent behaviour of unbound pavement geo-materials while improving the robustness to measurement uncertainty through the application of genetic algorithms. The performance of the developed hybrid pavement auscultation technique is evaluated through extensive field studies conducted at a state-of-the-art full-scale airfield pavement test facility. The results show that this approach is promising for real-time condition evaluation of airfield pavement infrastructure systems.  相似文献
